AshleymackSeason 11- My favorite of the dateline originals so farThis is a tragic story told by the always great Keith Morrison. The story started out strong but I found myself arguing out loud with the assumptions made by investigators. I had a hard time turning this off until the story had concluded. It had me dropping tears and all. It’s a must-listen!

Cupcake seanYou can have itIf you want to listen to exaggerated descriptions using words to impress a teenager then give it a shot. They have the ability to turn a broken rock into a racial progressive woke angle. If there is a crime involving racial issues then tell it however they turn every story into one when its evident its not there. Ive unfollowed

PJ FlowergirlExcellent! This a heartbreaking story with a good ending that must be heard. This is such a sad story about our justice system. I was so moved by the relationship that developed between Dan and JJ. Very well told.

jo- mannQualityVery well done. I love how JJ reads his letters. I love hearing Dan interact with different people. He's very matter of fact and confident. My heart breaks for this family. JJ is unique and special. So glad I listened.

babes23Season 17This latest season really got to me. I’ve never been so outraged. I’ve watched and listened to 100’s of shows and podcasts but for some reason this one really spoke to me. My heart broke for his mother, his children, and for him. How could they let this perpetuate? I our system is incredibly flawed!

MylissaRHave to correct, sorry.Leavenworth was the first prison referred to as “The Big House.” It’s the oldest federal prison. Also, “sent up the river” first referred to Leavenworth. It sits on the Missouri River, and the train tracks, on the border of northern Kansas/Missouri, just north of the two Kansas Cities. Sing Sing might also use these terms, but to say they originated there isn’t correct. Leavenworth was the first federal prison ever built and is the oldest to use these terms. Sorry to correct, but I grew up, and live, in KCMO, and living in “flyover” country often means we don’t exist to the rest of the country, or matter. It’s important, to us, to own our history. We can’t even win a Super Bowl with people knowing which Kansas City (Missouri, by the way). It grates to hear NY, especially, dismiss the Midwest. I know it won’t be corrected and don’t expect that. Just noting it, because facts matter, and the people and their history here matter. Love these originals. Wish there were more. Please keep turning out amazing shows. Just don’t forget there’s a whole country out here besides NY. Thank you. 😊

ClaireMaree-1Ultimate StorytellerKeith Morrison is a fantastic storyteller! I can listen to him all day long! Great series.

Asvaozxy$&@Don’t waste your moneyVery disappointed. I don’t want to hear conversation about the stories and their reviews. I wanted the stories.

lul maraLove this series!Currently listening to internal affairs episode 5 and Shauna is claiming the first thing she remembers from the night of the murder is being in front of the liquor store! This has been her alibi the whole time - she was in town to go to the liquor store. So if she remembers being in front of it, and she was pulled over driving down the road, this means she had already gone to the liquor store and left. Where is the liquor or receipt??!!! I’m hoping investigators look into this later on in the series … but cmon! Seems like such an easy story to either prove or disprove! She had the bath water ran… she claims first thing she remembers is being in front of the liquor store… so where is her wine and/or receipt and what does the liquor store have to say about her presence or absence?!?

F/TTop Notch True CrimeI have listened to many other true crime podcasts. The way Dateline presents their cases and allows the families to represent themselves is much more virtuous than others TC podcasts. The quality of these podcasts is superb! I have listened to every single episode thus far and anxiously wait for Missing in America, Dateline Originals and the weekly Dateline series to update with new material for me to play and replay going over every fine detail. #hungryformoreDateline
-
JuiceesmileOh DatelineI have to say the Dateline Originals are a great addition to the podcast genre! The fact that I knew the David Moffat case as Cathy Singer referred to it and 911 callers sounding calm tells just how invested I am in the stories of all the amazing humans that survive and those who tell them to the world. Thank you.

USA MknitterKiller Role - bizarre murderWhat a bizarre story, especially with a coincidence (recognized by Midge from years past). Winn (Tucker) was a great actress. But she appeared to “cross the line” with her acting and real life. Her mother was “quite the case” — I wouldn’t trust her with my own 30 years of legal (probate) experience—she was lying about a deed — she KNEW what it was!

AKWA59The BESTDateline is the BEST, no comparison! I can’t even listen to these hicks anymore- Gary Dunne did it. These hicks are ridiculous- makes me so mad, I could scream!
-
Jill-GradOutstanding!!I was up til 1:00am listening. I couldn’t stop until I heard the whole series. Highly recommended!!!

WhydoIneedanicknameaahhhh3Finally!Thanks to whoever had the idea to combine all the dateline original podcasts into one place, easy to sort by season. I often stay subscribed to old seasons in case there’s a case update, which means every time there’s a promo released for a new season I get the same ad auto-downloaded 6+ times. This will streamline everything and prevent me from missing out on future seasons & getting duplicate trailer downloads. And I appreciate not having to worry about whether podcasts will be fact-checked or sensationalized because of Dateline’s quality standards.
-
pnw_21So glad these are consolidated! It was annoying having to follow each and hunt down new ones when they were released or if I wanted to listen to them again.
