Bar10kidGreat podcastListens to every episode while driving all day for my job! One of the best!
-
Wildfirewife2324LoveLove being able to listen to the podcast when I don’t have time to sit down and watch the episode

AFFTPUnbalancedI'm catching up on some pods from earlier this year and hearing the coverage of the LA fires. Yes, this was unquestionably tragic, but I'm having a problem remembering similar coverage of the hundred years flooding that devastated NC and TN not so long ago. Those people don't have the resources to rebuild, and many lost their homes, communities, and jobs and are even living in tents.

Alliendjune01Outstanding!!!Love my 20/20 show! Now I’m enjoying the Podcast as well it’s so captivating and it’s a creative way to make your mind go back to the story and carefully listen to the details as they explain from their point of view. I love to hear every single word in each story it’s awesome! Thank you 20/20

Soltesz_8Same story, different networkAs an avid true crime podcast listener it’s disappointing to download a new podcast only to realize that you’ve already unraveled this same crime three weeks ago on another network podcast…this happening one time is bad enough but the three network shows/podcasts seem to have the exact same list of stories this season!
-
BrandilBrownIdaho murdersThe dispatcher was so rude! I get you’re supposed to be calm but those poor girls didn’t need to be talked to like that
-
tblade44Too scriptedThis newest episode is poorly done and acted it’s unfortunate that podcasts are starting to pop up this way I definitely won’t keep listening
-
Dulu999TerribleThe sympathetic tone for diddy is just 🤮. The leftist leanings are blatant throughout the entire show.
-
Matt_B_WLazy and lameAnother “Diddy” story? Really? Just take the info from the million other podcasts and documentaries and regurgitate, I guess.
-
BryanM47Bad decisionI typically enjoy the show in its TV format. The podcast is ok, but there are times when visuals would tell more of a story than the narration on its own. But, the guest on the last show made it unlistenable.

FoCryingOutLoudddTerribleOne star. Seriously, one. I tried, I really did, to get through this "true crime" podcast, but it was like listening to someone narrate a B-movie while banging pots and pans in the background. I get it, you want atmosphere, but the constant whooshing and creaking and what I swear was a distant wolf howl just made it sound like a bad audio drama. Look, when I listen to a true crime podcast, I want facts. I want to hear about the investigation, the evidence, the timeline. I don't need a sound effect of someone dramatically opening a rusty door every time you mention a police interview. It's distracting! It's cheesy! It's like you're trying to win an Oscar for "Most Over-the-Top Sound Design in a Podcast About Murder." If you're going to do true crime, stick to the true part. Leave the Hollywood sound effects for the professionals... or, you know, just leave them out entirely. My ears, and my sanity, would thank you
-
A406BYou left me for deadI appreciated how well done the story was. Being from Bozeman, I felt the story was told accurately with respect for the police work involved, as well as compassion for the survivors.
-
Elliee29That Burlington commercial - awfulAppreciate the show but that Burlington commercial is so loud. Nails on a chalkboard screeching
-
lost jersey girlUnsubscribeI forgot Muir was a part of this until I saw his picture. I will unsubscribe now since I can no longer believe a word he says.
-
DwowwThe music too muchThe background music in the podcast is too overpowering and should be removed. The compelling stories don’t need it, especially during what would have been a commercial breaks that aren’t necessary in a podcast. I strongly recommend eliminating the music or significantly reducing its presence.
-
Scoppy loopy poo cooToo many coming up nextHalf this show is coming up next. It just repeats itself. The only good thing about it is that I now know I could never actually watch it either. As a podcast you can’t tell who is talking the story is so repetitive I found myself not even paying attention
-
ep1190Insensitive Sound EffectsThe stories are compelling but the sound effects, especially in the episode about Israel Keyes, are jarring. They really make it hard to listen to. Please include some sort of warning.
-
KBarton75Too repetitiveToo much useless audio clips that just fill space to make the show longer.
-
onlyreviewiveeverwrittenAre people confused?I feel like people aren’t understanding this is just the tv show in podcast form.. the music is likely from parts where b roll plays on the television. Just ignore it???
-
Foomast3rDial M for murderWhy is story repeating ? This is a podcast we are not idiots …..no need to repeat all the details ? Do better this is ridiculous !
-
leslie_willDavid Muir Deserves 0 StarsNobody can take Muir seriously as a journalist after his embarrassing performance “moderating.” Activist disguised as a journalist. Dishonest propagandist.
-
composeyourselfGood show, disgusting adI really like this show. I had to turn it off, however, when an ad with a whispering woman started playing in my ears. Please do not assault our ears with people’s gross spit mouth noises. 😅 Thanks!
-
BuhnanieAlways a well done podcastAs a listener, I always appreciate the clarity and professionalism of this podcast and the talent involved in its production.
-
Robin-83Too repetitiveThe same audio clips used over and over to stretch out the story to 3x the needed time. This could be so much better by not being so redundant. When you same the same thing over and over it really takes away from the story. There is no need to keep saying the same thing over and over. See. I said the same in several ways

Xodus23896MusicHate the music it’s so dramatic and cringe
-
Livvy J.Music!!!Y’all are doing too much with the music. It’s every episode. It’s awful and it distracts from the story. Gives me a headache. I turned off this latest episode (probably the last one I try to listen to) 6 mins in because the music was just so obnoxious.
-
MStruecrimeLove it!One of my new favs! Great story telling and music! I see lots of negative comments about the music but I thought the exact opposite! It makes me feel like I’m listening to a documentary / I can picture it being on tv as I listen! New fav series !
-
Castle AGHPlease Work On Your AudioThe music and sound effects are very disruptive and overdone. Please work on this.
-
podcasts_tame_the _ADHDWhat is this music? The show is very interesting but the music is distractingly awful. I feel like I’ve accidentally streamed some trash dating show.
-
melinsc3Cut the music/sound effectsThe information is good but the podcast would be SO much better without the pauses/interruptions of music and sound effects, which are SO irritating.
-
counselor6Terrible background MusicJust let the people talk without annoying background music.
-
Barbie FoxI love the series of death in the dormsThe story of Marlon Barnes is absolutely heartbreaking! So sorry to his loved ones and friends! Xoxo
-
Crime junkie12Good stories but hard to hearThe stories are good but it is very difficult to hear the story because of the background noise and the dramatic loud sounds.
-
CelticrcoMusic is such a distractionStories are good, however the music choices seem to be so poor. Music matters it sets a mood or turns you off. The music choices do not enhance your stories it detracts from them.
-
ruesaint_denisLess Background MusicPlease for the Dorms episodes, have less background music, it isn’t blended well and feels chaotic and constant. It takes away from the story.
-
Acie88Top Tier2020 is the best! I love the true crime stories. I trust 2020 and I love the dramatics especially on the podcast the dramatic music makes it greater! Don’t change a thing
-
revrakDeath in DormsYou should look into the case from 2001 from the University of Portland
-
PleasantlySurprisedNYCMusic is awfulSorry but it’s not tolerable in the least. Not every second of silence needs to be filled with extra loud music or beat.
-
Tort ReformPainful to listen to…The terrible loud, repetitive music is awful. You can barely hear the people talking. Speaking of people, the way they have one person narrated one sentence only and then switch to another person is super annoying. Easier just google the story and get it over with. Save an hour of your life.
-
lostvegaseveFire the audio editorI love 20/20, I have grown up watching the show and falling asleep to it since I was a child. I have to agree with some of the other comments on the reviews, interruptions with the loud, jarring, pop music does not contribute well, especially when people are talking about terrible times in their lives. It almost seems to be making fun of them or dismissing or invalidating their Experiences when you chop in a silly pop song. Also, the cutting and chopping of the interviews can make the stories hard to follow. It seems like so many of the interviews have been chopped up and edited, just to be mixed up with one another, and that can be hard to follow. Otherwise, the stories themselves are very good, the production quality of the editing could use some renovations.
-
MinervaJoEnough with the terrible music and sound effects!!I want to love this. I listen to a lot of true crime but the music/sounds are terrible.
-
jkw45Shows too oldDo you have any that are current?
-
crazycatkatieMusic is too dramaticI love this show and the way stories are told, but the knocking sounds in the music are jarring and need to go away or be edited out! It’s terrible and hard to listen to.
-
ewhatsupwithyaAm I listening to a demo tape?Love this pod cast (I believe it’s just the audio from the tv eps), but the music/songs they use are really cringe and it’s just too much. Am I listen to a demo tape, am I watching MTV real world? No. We’re all just trying to chill and listen to a story and every 2 seconds there’s a different obnoxious low budget SoundCloud song. Enough with the music. It’s often tone def to the actual story and goes on for way to long.
-
boogermcfartyDeath in the Dorms sn2 ep1The music and sounds are so over the top. They play a rap song for like 2 whole minutes for who knows the reason. They mention temple university and then bam… rap song
-
Nikki21949Enough with the music snipsThe random 20 seconds of music every 5 minutes is so obnoxious and way overdone.
-
benzenesdream😮💨Even Luigi’s voice is hot! Thanks for letting us hear the people’s champ speak!

UgagrlKaren SilkwoodMust Listen
-
Spike 1954Very professionalI’m always happy to have a 2020 to listen to and most of them pass through one year and go out the other. That’s what happens when you listen to too much true crime. Many of the cases are repetitive but the series on Karen Silkwood that I just finished today was fabulous. Thank you folks for touching on a case from my past that’s always been of interest to me and you did such a great job! Five stars two thumbs up and consider me a follower for life.
