    SO SO GOOD!
I am obsessed with this series. The stories are captivating and the audio is top notch. I love the design and the way Amanda adds her own personal experience to really get us to understand how this type of injustice impacts people. Great work audiochuck!!!!!

S1 is good, S2 less good
Season 1 was well done, and also Justine's voice is made a tad deeper - usually it hurts my ears on other pods or ads but not here. Season 2 is a bit of a hot mess. A swing & a miss with Amanda Knox, who like Uncle Rico has one story that is on permanent replay.

Lots of potential but it's a no
The music playing almost continually is stupid and I quit listening bc of it.

    Focus on the story
I am not in the “Amanda Knox is guilty” group. But she has always come off as such a narcissist to me, that it’s hard to support what she is doing now. I don’t know her, and I am trying to let my judgements interfere with the podcast, but I can’t help it. It ruins this story. She is not a good storyteller or narrator. It’s distracting. So is her constant interjections about her own story. I don’t see enough similarities to make it fully valid. I am from Hawaii, and although I don’t know a lot about this case, everything about it seems off. It’s not good storytelling, and I just can’t seem to get through an episode without rolling my eyes about something. But sadly, since it’s Audiochuck I am not surprised. I am clearly not their audience, why do I keep trying to enjoy their podcasts.

Season 1 yes Season 2 no
Season 1 was well done so I was excited to hear season 2. Season 2 is clearly done by an amateur as it’s not narrated or organized well. All o er the place that I kept having to rewind to see if I could put it together. Made it to episode 4 and finally gave up.

    Stop the Comparison
This would be so much better if Amanda Knox would stop comparing it to her own story. Every time she made the comparison it was a reach, and it completely took me out of the narrative.

    Not Focused on Story
They picked the wrong narrator. She’s focused on her story not the story being told.
  • 30Bones
    Made it through 3
Very slow to the details and loads of reflection on her own situation. Screamed “look at me”
  • Johnny Maxham
    Hard to follow
Only made it through 2 episodes of season 2. Too unorganized

    Well done and interesting
This is a really well done podcast. Growing up on Maui like I did, you don’t understand what living on an island means. The intertwined lives, the fact that everyone is somehow connected to everyone else. The comment about what high school you went to is so true. I can see how this can happen when fingers start being pointed. This is an interesting story and Amanda Knox is a great narrator who keeps the story moving in a very engaging way. Will continue listening to this series as they explore more cases.

    Too much Amanda
I want to love it, but Amanda Knox is making it too much about her story.
  • Kgib19394
    Not three ?
Came here for Justine , turns out she’s not involved ? I’ve been duped , why did this season try to associate with th first ? Unrelated

    Pretty darn good
I was skeptical of a “celebrity” host but I am finding I really like Knox’s voice, pacing, and emphasis. Interesting, immersive story.

    Could’ve been good
I enjoyed listening to the first season of Three very much. Season 2 has so much potential, however it starts in a weird spot and then jumps around so much it’s hard to stay focused on who is who and who did what. I also didn’t appreciate Amanda Knox comparing it to her “story”. I made it through episode 3 and I’ve officially given up.
  • Living is overrated
    Pass
Unattractive murderess belongs in an Italian prison, not crapping out lousy podcasts. She was convicted multiple times by Italian courts who got it right every time.

    Gripping!
This has become one of my favorite true crime shows. Very well done. All of the presenters are excellent, but I’m especially impressed with Amanda Knox. Not sure what she’s up to these days, but I hope to hear more from her!

    Amazed and confused
Was hooked from the very beginning! Came upon this series by accident and couldn’t stop listening. I am beyond amazed by what happened to an innocent girl and confused as to why it happened. I agree that both should stay in jail forever. Thank you for the awesome reporting! Will be listening.

    Great Podcast
I have been hooked since the very first episode. Great content 🫶🏾

    Why why why 🙄
Excellent podcast! I’ve heard this story before but not to this extent. I found the production very interesting and engaging and it kept my attention. I did have to fast forward the episode while listening to the parole hearing as that Rachel woman made me sick! She is so annoying and did not sound one bit sorry for what she did. Her excuses were endless and I couldn’t stand her fake crying. The speech by Skylar’s dad broke my heart! These girls were evil and they do not deserve to live in society. I can’t imagine taking someone’s life let alone the life of a so called friend and then on top of to choose to do it by stabbing is just sick and evil! I hope the parole board keeps these women in prison forever!!

Needs less commentary about Knox case
I usually love everything Audio Chuck, but this podcast is talking too much about the wrong case. I don’t need to hear all the commentary by Knox about her case.
  • Msp629
    Scary
I’ve been a detective for 24 years. This makes me sick and disgusted that these men lost so much of their lives because of incompetent investigators and prosecutors😢 They should go to prison like those men did.

    So hard to follow
I feel like this could be good but I’m on episode 3 and have no clue what’s happening. Jumps around too much and it’s hard to tell whose talking and whose accused of what.
  • John Doe 2239474
    Poor
Quit putting your story or comparing your story to their story Amanda I get it you were wrongly convicted and that’s a bad thing, but your story is being told more than the victims it’s also all over the place, not very organized, which is really sad because I love audio chuck.
  • dizownc
    Meh
Season 1 was amazing! Super organized and well done. Season 2 with Amanda is all over the place and very hard to follow. I’m a bit sad because this story sounds super interesting, but not sure I can continue listening.

    Season 2
    Is garbage.

Why are there palm trees on the cover?
It’s about Hawaiʻi, so why palm trees? Only complaint I must raise.

    Three season 2
I really enjoy this show. I came across it accidentally and am very happy I did!!
  • Sidzesloth
    Amazing podcast
I love this podcast a lot. I’m listening to season 1 right now and man I’m so invested in it. It’s so sad though of what happened to Skylar. I hope she’s found peace now. Rip Skylar ❤️. This show I can’t put into words of how amazing it is, it dives deep into cases some people haven’t heard about and it’s so cool.
  • Brooks1974
    Hosts
Some hosts don’t work for seasons or multiple episodes. I had to share that Amanda is an exceptional listen in pace and inflection which is not easy based on countless similar episodic true crime I have completed
  • Teresa 103
    Extremely unorganized
I can’t even listen to it because it’s all over the place. So unorganized. Not enjoyable.
  • Queenbeeofjml
    Hard to follow
I agree with others about too many people to keep track of during the story telling. The mispronunciation of the Hawaiian language is also driving me crazy. I'm not from Hawaii but I lived there for 4 years so the mispronunciation is jarring. Amanda is also using the English language incorrectly as well. Please clean this up.
  • Frankieblueeyes413
    Nope!
Why would anyone want to listen to a podcast hosted by a killer? Yes, Amanda I'm talking about you.
  • Zamsky
    Amanda is good.
I really like this show. I cannot stop listening to it
  • Lou2407
    Well done
I think this was very well done. I think the hosts did a fantastic job bringing us this terrible story.
  • Alllballl
How Can You Listen To This
She is a killer. Don’t give her credibility or a platform.
  • Depriest25
    Not Connecting
Of course this story needs to be told but it’s simply not being done well. To many names to keep up with, and the host is constantly comparing her story to theirs. Instead of constantly calling out the wrongdoings of the police which is obvious first tell the “story” of the case itself. Then lead us to how they got it all wrong. Trying to push through but I’m honestly confused and I have to repeat parts to make sure I’m following the story correctly.

    Love
I’m surprised by some of the negative reviews. Seems to be more personal issues than rating the actual show. I love everything Audiochuck does. There are endless podcasts to choose from and theirs always pull me in. Amanda has done a great job. Is she a “perfect” host? I doubt it, I’m not sure that anyone is. But, she has a nice voice, tells the story well, and also relates to the story with her own personal experiences. Thank you Audiochuck for years of education and companionship, you keep me company quite often!
  • TheLarkGal
    Mediocre
I really wanted to like this series because I love everything in the audiochuck catalog. However, Amanda Knox is not good as a host or at narration. She is so affectated that the seriousness of the subject is lost. I feel that with elocution lessons and speech therapy she might be able to learn narration because jt is not natural.
  • Krisblack45
    Good podcast minus one thing…
I’m enjoying this podcast. However! One of the hosts, Holly, is aggressive. The way she speaks about young woman is gross! I don’t know what the girls sexual history or clothing has to do with the story, but she definitely wanted to let you know. Ick.
  • Bobbi Sue
    Stop blaming external factors
Loved the podcast until we reached the “experts” episode where everyone went out of their way to place the blame on social media. IT IS NEVER an EXTERNAL FORCE THAT PRODUCES THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE! It wasn’t rock and roll or television in the ‘50s/‘60s. It wasn’t heavy metal music in the ’70s/‘80s. It wasn’t video games in the ‘80s/‘90s and it isn’t social media in the ’00s. Murderers/Disturbed people have always been with us and when they find the right person or environment they act. Stop removing blame from them and the people around them. The adults failed to notice (BEFORE THE ATROCITY was COMMITTED) that the kids needed help. The blame is solely Rachel’s and Shelia’s to bear and for their “loved ones” to suffer.
  • BigIslebb
    Banana Town
Normally I don’t leave podcast reviews, but as someone who lives on the big island, the host is BUTCHERING the Hawaiian language & it’s driving me bananas. Is it so hard to find someone to run the pronunciation by? If something so simple is ignored, what else in the story has been neglected?
  • goodlifedirt
    Amanda Knox
I love her telling the story. She knows from experience how difficult life can be❤️
  • benbottom
    No
    Ananda is a terrible host
  • CAW8ZA
Let’s Leave Amanda Out of It
If Audiochuck wants to do a deep dive on Meridith Kercher’s murder from Amanda Knox’s perspective, they should have just done that. Instead, they hijacked another person’s story by setting her up as a “yeah, but me too!” narrator. It appears to be a bit of stunt casting chasing on Audiochuck’s part and I find it distasteful. I know Amanda has gone on to try and piece together a “normal” life following her ordeal in Italy, and, as we know, podcasters are not journalists by any means, but c’mon. The way she is used does nothing but confuse the narrative while adding zero to the story (two different countries, to different communal justice systems). Could have workshopped this one a bit better, Audiochuck. Disappointed.

    3rd grade reading
I want to know the story but it’s all over the place and sounds like someone reading! That staccato sounding reading is irritating! Can’t do it!
  • martinritter
    Too many ads!
Is there any way to subscribe? The ads are literally half the podcast!

    Another Audiochuck Show? STOP!
Stop flooding the podcast zone with audiochuck shows. You don’t need a Monopoly!
  • Nicolarci
    Too much happening
Very interesting case, but very confusing and hard to follow who was talking. Would’ve liked them to preface before the interviews, but also don’t believe the whole episode needs to be interviews… Just gets to be overwhelming for the listener
  • mtpl00
    Why Amanda Knox
this is RICH coming from Amanda Knox. Can’t listen bc of her
