punkrockmichelleInstant fanThis is super important for people that are drug users , know drug users , are curious about drugs or even take prescribed medications ! Relatable & informative!

CleopadeezTruth about psychoactive substancesJust found your podcast. Absolutely refreshing to hear the facts-good and bad. Not many places left to listen or read anything like this. Great job!
-
Patty_Pat_23Do better research! Stop misinforming people.I listened to the cannabis episode and she could not even explain the endocannabinoid system which is found in all vertebrate creatures and this is why endo-cannabinoids and photo-cannabinoids actually work in our system. The adolescent brain grows until about 24 years of age. I could keep picking this apart but I’ll stop. Just do your research before you speak and misinform people. Maybe get an expert to help you better talk about the topics.

_tinydancer_Not the quality I was hoping forThis podcast doesn’t offer more than what you could find in a simple google or wiki search. I tried to listen to the DMT episode and not only was it not informative, parts of it weren’t even accurate. I was hoping that because it’s hosted by someone with a doctorate that it would offer up a little more science and a lot less “I’ve heard people say”.

Just a stream guyStop saying yaGuy needs to stop constantly chiming in with “ya”. It’s unnecessary, distracting, and has put me off from further listening.

AnnieTCMNice try🙏I know you’re trying so hard to be a totally neutral and objective conversation, solely about information and not rooted in judgement whatsoever... but, that seems impossible. Just the way you comment on why a person might believe a certain thing or where they come up with their info just sounds inherently judgmental bc the two of you can’t control the variables in your voice when you say something that you think is outrageous... and someone actually believes! The two of you marvel at so much of what drug users think and do that it only highlights that you’re outsiders to the community. I’m a casual cannabis user w MS and I found the cannabis episode to have a general undertone of, “I don’t mean to judge, but ppl think this?!?” It’s offensive although I appreciate what you’re trying to do. This an important experiment bc I’m now thinking it’s got to be impossible for anyone to hide their biases in their voice inflections, unless their a sociopath or something. Which you two clearly aren’t! You’re brilliant wonderful people that can’t control your tone when you think something’s stupid or very unusual to you. I really don’t think it’s your fault, I just don’t think you realize that you two sound skeptical and baffled (like everyone is stupid that believes holding smoke gets you high) I agree that’s an incredibly dumb thing to believe, holding your breath makes you lightheaded- it’s not the weed- the problem is is that someone that does believe that will feel stupid and small when they listen to the two of you speculate on a world you’re not a part of. Doesn’t matter dude smoked weed in college, that’s literally the most basic obvious rite of passage every dude in college talks about. Him even mentioning it so much to in an effort to give himself cred has the opposite effect bc actual users will roll their eyeballs back into their head hearing someone citing a brief stint w pot in college as some in to actually understanding what ppl suffering are going through. You sound like you think that the misinformation that users believe is dumb. And it is!! It’s just that you’re claiming objectivity!! I know you both mean well and I respect you for trying so hard, but this was sadly really tone deaf and I think would actually make a lot of people suffering feel even worse bc their stupid, too? Thank you for trying something that’s prob impossible.♥️🙏

Pic user 2584Informative and unbiasedI appreciate the straightforward, scientific outlook of Dr. Suzu Gage. Scroobius Pip’s anecdotes are insightful as well. I think people could benefit from listening to these facts and learning information in an unbiased way.

HalloweenieeLove the showWhen might/will we get any new episodes
-
TrimekaTraditionalThe episodes cover some information you can’t find on Wikipedia but frankly brings very little special, a lot of the drugs haven’t been tried by anyone speaking in the experience and because of that they are limited in facet of connecting facts and experiences, would be nice to have different guests who could attest to differences between substances that they compare as similar

Kuntzie13So-soSo these guys/gals sit here and tell us "despite what you've read...." blah blah... yet they only say despite without providing any real information or bibliography to their claims. They call weed as a cure to cancer a myth and the it's ridiculous that big pharma would try to hide it yet big pharma makes billions on cancer treatment. If you're seriously saying people are nutty for thinking big pharma would hide a cure for cancer... I hate to break it to you but the nutty one stares at you in the mirror. So, fun stuff here but not a real source for information... just because she's some sort of doctor doesn't mean what she says goes.

N12340987Very goodMore info in a 30 minute discussion than I received in 12 years of public school education.
-
Kill Altersso basic & opinionated (even tho it states it isn't)highly british & opinionated podcast that never backs anything up that they say with actual studies or facts…they take drug headlines as topics & discuss them in such a short unfocused amount of time…highly recommend not listening to this as there are way better podcasts out there that really dive deep into these drugs & topics & back up what they say.
-
botanicalcyborgInsightful and enjoyableDr Gage and Pip offer a review of the facts various drugs, while also dispelling associated myths. The podcast pairs empirical evidence with anecdotal commentary to elucidate the truths that correspond to each drug. Each episode is an insightful but also enjoyable listen. Highly recommended!
-
vetathome1775Truth over myth!I really like the fact profiles they provide as well as their opinions on ethics and policy. I would love to hear them do an episode on dissociatives like MXE and all the pcp analogues. I hope they continue to study MXE because I think it has way more therapeutic value than ketamine IMO.
-
critical constructorgreat info, choppy rhythmStimulating and entertaining, but I wish Scroobius would stay more on topic! There's a repeating pattern where Suzi will present a new fact, only to be interrupted by Scroobius derailing the conversation with a loosely associated thought or story. Then Suzi brings it back on topic and presents the next fact, creating a disjointed stop-and-go rhythm to the informational flow of the podcast. I would love to hear the conversation stay more smooth and focused to the over-arching story of each drug as its facts are presented.
