I’m sharing this with girlfriends (middle age) as each of us has symptoms that we struggle to get diagnosed and treated. This journey has been going on for years now for me BUT the validation and understanding from these 2 professionals is enlightening and makes me WANT to research more‼️

Now it feels like another energy-work-masterclass sales pitch. Ugh… idk where I feel it in my body…but this baseless, cheap-click fluff hurts my ears for sure.

AmandaPanda2UThe Link between Hypermobility, EDS & NeurodivergenceSuch a fantastic episode!! I learned so much from this. I struggle with ADHD/BiPolar2/Hypermobility. I shared this episode with 5 medical/health professionals in my life. My doctor, an occupational therapist along with 3 therapists. One of which works with neurodivergent kids and another who’s partner and child are neurodivergent. And the third being a couple’s therapist who also works with family’s consisting of neurodivergence within the community. I have 2 other doctors in my family; I’ll be sharing this with them over the holidazes.

Hold Hands & KumbayaNewly Diagnosed, This HelpsThe episode on alcohol dependence got me to write this review. I’ve been casually listening and learning a lot. My older sister was diagnosed adhd a long time ago, and I never considered it until recently. I was diagnosed with a combination adhd- severe inattentive type with mild hyperactivity, which has explained so much about my life. We believe my mom has it too. Our whole family has had a habitual dependency with drinking that has always been high functioning, and we were recently discussing that maybe there’s a correlation between our alcohol use and adhd. Then this episode came out right after we had discussed it. Thank you for bringing the many, varied manifestations of adhd to light. I feel like I’m at the tip of the iceberg in learning more about myself, and this podcast has given me so many avenues to explore. It’s made me feel less alone, more forgiving of my behavioral antics, and validated in how I function. Thank you!

dragonfaeriexoDisappointedFull disclosure - I only listened to one episode, the very first one, about boundaries. It struck me as odd that the very first guest seemed very neurotypical to me, talking about identifying the changes that needs to be made and steps to take action. When I hear that, I immediately shut down because I don’t know if there’s anything that can be more frustrating that this approach for an ADHD person who is carving the change but has a lot of obstacles on the way - oh, I don’t know, memory issues, impulsivity, distractibility… When someone boldly lays out a plan to DECIDE to make a change and just take action, I know I am not seen and I should not waste my time.

mrs.graphicdesignStrikes all the chords!I’m a self employed mom of three and was diagnosed around 40. Since then, I’ve been desperately trying to learn everything I can to find the missing tools I need to be able to accomplish my goals instead of feeling like I am always floundering and failing. There are a lot of other ADHD podcasts, but few that I’d say I really hit the most critical issues and give me some real tangible things to hold onto. These are real tools to try and hopeful, positive perspectives to identify with. Thank you and please keep up the wonderful content!

I got my ADHD diagnosis a few months ago at 29 years old after already earning a Ph.D. and achieving highly but using so much of myself and my emotional to get there. I’m so grateful for this wonderful podcast where I can learn about ADHD while learning from wonderful people that I’m not weird or alone. Thank you for what you are doing Kate! You’re right, I am here for a reason and it’s because I need your podcast in my life to help guide me to a healthy life with ADHD. My favorite episode is the one about perfectionism. It is absolute gold. I can relate so much and it’s given me a breakthrough with a recent struggle!

sotislpnFinally someone gets it!Having ADHD all my life but struggled with so many issues because my brain works differently. I just found this podcast and have enjoyed learning and feeling I’m not as alone as I thought. I was diagnosed early in my life simply because my mom was diligent. In the late 1970’s/early 1980’s ADHD was not a common diagnosis and rarely a diagnosis given to girls. But the only help I got was medication. As an adult I started learning more about behavioral changes and technology that helps me function and be productive. Thank you for your podcast and resource you offer.
