This used to be my favorite podcast. It was my first too. Now it’s behind a paywall? Not only does Kev bank off our nostalgia for his movies, he’s gonna do it with his podcasts too?

There has been no new episodes in years and the old ones are behind a pay wall at Kevin’s website. Bring the show back and I’ll change my rating.

It’s a constant loop of the same jokes ending with a fun show of Jay creating love-making positions with a member of the audience every episode. But you’ll never see that because this is a podcast...

This podcast is amazing. I have listened to every episode they’ve put out. Unfortunately it has slowed down to maybe a couple episodes a year. I hope Jay is still on the wagon and staying strong!!

I’m a huge Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes fan. Not a huge podcast person. Happened to read an article about this show after reading about the new movie. This podcast is gold. It’s hilarious. Please....make every episode available for the fans. I’d pay! I grew up with these guys. It’s great to hear how they’ve grown up too....sorta. They’re still funny. So proud of Jason. Hope they continue the show.

I listened to one because I was bored while waiting for a game to install and I haven’t been able to stop listening!!!! Their honesty about their lives especially Mewes with his hardships and tribulations in life is refreshing and relatable. It feels less like listening to a talk show and more like hanging out with your friends. Impossible to dislike. My favorite part of my day is the drive to and home from work when I just press play on the podcast in my car. In fact, I leave early and leave late just so I can sit in the parking lot and listen to a just a little bit more.

I’m so glad someone finally alerted me to the presence of this podcast. Love it!!!

Saw them when they were in Detroit, at the Filmore. Had no clue about the podcast just was excited to see them! I have been catching up and thoroughly enjoying it. Can’t wait for the reboot

I am so sad at how much the podcast has slowed down, but my face lights up whenever I see an update. I love this podcast. It's wonderful to just hear Kevin Smith and Jay talk about life changes and the positive parts of sobriety.

Even if you aren't a hardcore Kevin Smith movie fan everyone can appreciate the candor of Jason Mewes and the humor and honestly of Kevin Smith. Their strong friendship is my favorite part of each story. Most importantly, every episode is great and best of luck to Jason on his sobriety.

Just thought I'd finally write a review for something in the Smodcast Universe after seeing JASBGO live in Detroit. Walmart vs. Meijer, Joe Louis Arena, having sex with oneself in a car... I thought it was pretty funny that the venue info said it was an all ages show. Anyway, I'm a fan, even though the Cartoon Movie was terrible in my opinion, I'm looking forward to the new movie (reboot) and I'll be listening to this particular podcast more often. Keep Clean, Mewes!

When I discovered this Podcast, I enjoyed listening to it everyime it released a new episode. Over time this eroded...in large part due to Kevin Smith. It seems like every episdoe Smith is going through the motions and giving similiar dialogue in every episode, not to mention there are times when he cant get through 5 minutes of the show without finding a way to bash Jay. Jay is definitley the star of the show and is the only reason I still listen. Oh and before I forget....WE GET IT SMITH YOU SMOKE WEED!!! NO ONE CARES AND I DON'T NEED TO BE REMINDED EVERY EPISODE.

Simple show and Jay does a great job of being entertaining. Worth a listen.

It's got Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, what more could you ask for? Plus it's always nice to hear jay is staying sober, he is to awesome. (Not a intervention podcast so don't worry, no preaching.).

This podcast is such an amazing experience. I found out about this roughly a year and some change ago. With me being a huge Jay and Silent Bob fan I had to hit it a shot. I've listened to the first episode to to the most recent, so hilarious! To hear Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes on stage together is magical. Makes me laugh, makes me cry, makes me learn new things, and most of all. I learned how difficult it can be to struggle with a drug addiction. Two thumbs up and will forever be a subscriber, great work boys.

Entertaining, funny, and inspiring :)

If you like Jay and Silent Bob, then you will love this podcast. Do yourself a favor, and go all the way back to episode 1 and listen forward from there. This is an intervention podcast to help Jason Mewes stay off of Heroine, oxy, coke and other drugs. There are times where it is somewhat emotional, and most of the time, it is just down right hilarious.

I love listening to this every week when I exercise. With my headphones in, people look at me like I'm an idiot when I'm laughing so hard. And besides the funny business, I'm so proud of Jay and how far he's come. Also proud for Kevin for kicking the sugar. I'm trying to kick the habit too. Thank you for the laughs as well as the encouragement to keep going.

The first twenty five episodes or so were amazing! The show has evolved over time and now is a very different show. It's still a good show but if you try the latest episode and don't like it please try at least the first five episodes. I think you'll find the original format is exactly what you were looking for when you searched the words "JAY AND SILENT BOB"!
