It’s obvious Mike puts extraordinary effort in covering salient topics and finding guests that are authentic and truly care about being a positive force in this space - the insights they bring to bear are still mind-blowing every. single. time.

Opines CONSTANTLY on the first amendment, understands nothing of how that works. Doesn’t understand how IP law works, nor CDA 230. Worthless site and worthless commenters. Generally a politics blog pretending to be tech related.

Episodes either go really deep into a specific topic or introduce a niche subgenre of tech policy. Mike seems weirdly uncomfortable with hosting at times, but he is pretty thoughtful.

This podcast kind of gets on my nerves in a few ways. The schedule is inconsistent, the hosts/guests go off topic a lot, audio quality of guests isn't great. It always seems like the host holds a contrarian opinion that just kind of wants to make people angry. I used to like this podcast a few years ago but now it's in my "only if I listen to everything else" grouping.

Listened to the E-scooter episode. I was excited to hear different opinions and views on this last-minute transportation, an emerging service and how it can break into new markets (NYC). But then the conversation gets hijacked by one of the participants and becomes a group discussion of SF bureaucracy, Vans, ambulance costs and a number of other topics unrelated to e-scooters. Admittedly this is the only episode I’ve listened to but I’m not encouraged to do it again with the feeling conversations will detour to random thoughts.

I just finished listening to the Indian Call Center episode and related Reply All episodes. Without this podcast I might have missed some of the finest reporting and excellent follow-up, on the Internet.

As a beginning law student interested in technology of law, this is one of my go to weekly listens as they always provide interesting and intelligent analysis of current tech topics, with a legal perspective often being incorporated. Great stuff, keep it up!

The world of copyright infringement is not everyones cup of tea, but I have learned that it may be more important to your life than you realize. The blog has been in my top 3 that i read weekley for a couple years and the podcast was a bit boring at first (but informative) They have gotten the hang of things and I really think the message they have about changing the worn our system currently for copyright law, is something that really needs to be talked about and changed. After SOPA I realized I need to do more than write my congressman. (and a handful of others) Thanks for sharing the take down of Happy Birthday! stupid song

Not only have most episodes argued a far more narrow point of view than their titles would suggest, even those discussions are not worth your time. When a episode is about adblockers, but none of the three speakers have ever used adblockers, and one doesn't even understand how they work, their opinions are quite obviously incapable of being informed ones. One point given for not having ads in the shows. They're uninformed, but at least they're not hypocrites.

I really enjoy the perspective you bring to legal issues and intellectual property and have been listening to all of your podcasts and recommend this show to anyone who follows current events in technology and politics.

This show, while only 12 episodes in, has become one of my favorite. The nerdcore song to get us started, and rolling right into the topic, with a sometime special guest, having a discussion about that day's topic, wrapping it up, and nerdcore on the way out. I'm not sure the length on these since I listen via a player without a display, but they never seem too long. Also I'm writing this review on my iPhone at the iTunes Store, but I use Juice to get the RSS feed, so glad this isn't "iTunes only"
