    Note to Jennifer
Did you know your cover art has a different title than the podcast itself? (RV Lifestyle vs. The RV Podcast.). It might help people searching for your podcast if they were the same :-)

    A weekly favorite
I haven’t done any RV travel…yet…but I really enjoy this weekly report on all things camping. News, tales abou such challenges as bears and tornadoes, and a pleasing, upbeat view of making the most of life. Love the married co-hosts.

RV Information or Political Views? Which is It?
Very disappointed to hear how this podcast has devolved from useful information to sensationalism and ill-disguised political grandstanding. As a medical provider and pet owner, I can understand why the CDC had to put emergency regulations in place to stop the spread of rabies to this country. While large groups of rescue dogs brought into the US may pose a greater risk of disease transmission, even “little Fifi” can transmit disease if unknowingly exposed while out of country. With the rise in deadly infectious diseases in recent years among and between both pets and people, doesn’t it make sense for the CDC to try to keep us safe? Seems like you have decided to turn this podcast into nothing different than network news. Very disappointed and won’t be listening anymore.

    Fantastic Podcast for RVers
I’ve been following Mike & Jen for 4 years now. They always present great interviews & other information for RVers, whether they are full or part time. Their information is always very timely & they have just launched their own Community & it has over 10,000 members, all very helpful & kind. I recommend this podcast for all RVers & those just thinking about the lifestyle. You can learn a lot!

    Always a great show
I have been listening to Mike and Jen for years, and the show never gets old. I love their insight in the RV community and the recommendations are always spot on. Also love the reports from Wendy.

    Something for Everyone
Whether you are new to the RV lifestyle or a seasoned road warrior, this podcast has it all. One of the best parts of this podcast is the multiple ways to consume the information. Whether you are a traditional podcast consumer or prefer video this podcast provides options for every RVer. My favorite part is the community you get to be a part of and the wealth of knowledge that you can tap into anytime any day. It’s like having an army of RV gurus at your fingertips. Best part is it’s all FREE! This podcast goes beyond a podcast and has a way of becoming part of your life. Thanks to Mike and Jen and looking forward to many more episodes.

    Best RV podcast out there!
Mike and Jen always have great subject matter. I really enjoy their interviews, as well as the social media buzz of the week. Their content is always current and relative.

This used to be a podcast.
I started listening to this podcast when it was a true podcast. You didn’t need to go to a video to understand everything they’re talking about. This podcast has now changed into a YouTube video in audio format. I originally subscribed to this podcast because I could listen to it while I was working. I can’t watch a YouTube video while working. Now unsubscribing because a good majority of the podcast is now video and I only listen in audio.

Amazed at your response to bad behavior
August 23rd Episode, around :32, you said “Oh so what…” to reports of people sitting in delicate alpine wildflower meadows while watching the meteor shower at Mt. Rainier. While you went on to apparently figure out that that might not be a good thing, it boggles the mind that your initial reaction was that it wasn’t a big deal. Alpine meadows are extremely delicate, but any meadow should not be trampled, be it during the Superbloom, when people stood in the middle of wildflower meadows of the southwest to get the “perfect shot,” or other self-serving behavior like smashing or harvesting Joshua Trees during the govt shutdown. You have a large audience. Implying the that such actions are not a big deal is conveying to your followers that these behaviors are acceptable. They are not. You worry about boondocking sites being shut down because of people’s behavior, so your attitude is confusing. People need to consider the effect their actions will take on the environment and our future access to it.

    Wildfires???
The last episode on wildfires, came up way too short of the underlying cause- global warming. And the lack of awareness or concern on this subject is baffling. Of course, that would go against the grain of big gas guzzling Rv’s, pickups, and 30’ + 5th wheels w/ 4 TV’s with satellite. Why go outside at all? Oh yeah gotta have Bonfire for the marshmallows.

    Woof!
Love your podcast and videos! Thanks for your episode on dogs, travel and the parvo spread in summer 2022.

    Trailer Tire Talk - Thanks!
Thank you for your “fair and balanced” discussion of trailer tires. Thank you for referring to the phrase “china bombs” as derogatory. It is. Yes, most trailer tires are made in China. Most of those tires are just fine. I have towed over 30,000 miles in 6.5 years on two sets of tires made in China. I purchased them from my local tire store/mechanic that recommended them. I always keep them covered when not traveling. I always check the psi before leaving home and leaving the campground and I added a TPMS this past year. I replace my tires at about 4 years and they look brand new when I replace them. Maintenance and replacement due to age are very important.

    More Bo…
I look forward to the new episode each week, but I’d like to hear more about Bo’s outdoor adventures and less of the tips & tech stuff. Most of us nature-loving road warriors have a canine sidekick.

    Going downhill
This podcast used to be optimistic and make you want to get out and use your RV. Lately it has all been about how crowded it is, how hard to make reservations (but plenty of us do it). They are giving a real hard sell to buying your own land to go camping on. Isn’t that like owning a cottage - you go the same place all the time. Then they talk about having a network of people renting time on their private campsites. Hmmm, sounds like timeshares to me. I want to here about travels in an RV, not about time spent putting in utilities and sewer systems so I could go Camp the same place several times a year. Most of us bought RV’s to travel, and you used to talk about that, but not anymore. I miss those topics. Your current shows discourage people from RVing.

    Wayyy too many ads
Geez the content is good if you skip all the ads.

    Off the beaten path
I truly miss your off the beaten path report. Wish you would add that back into the program. I am fine to have listeners doing off the beaten path report. Looking forward to having those added back in. Doug

    Enough of the fake fire
Lower the volume of the fake fire. It’s so so irritating!

    Solo female
Would love to have really heard this woman speak , the hosts are not very good at interviews… plus it took half the show time for them to promote themselves before they even started talking to her.… shut up and let your guests speak.

    Always interesting and fun
Mike and Jennifer always have great information to share and make it fun! Thanks!

    I will no longer support
A long time listener, but just unsubscribed after episode #360. Ripping on a campground for requiring masks during a pandemic ? I can’t support a podcast that doesn’t take safety seriously and rips on a business (and all others) for making this choice.

    My favorite rv podcast
    Always interesting

Too Much Politics Are Brought Into Discussions
Everyone is trying to figure out the best ways to protect themselves during this pandemic. To bash a campground for taking steps that you think is over protective is wrong; especially for so called “award winning journalist”. People that don’t like the rules don’t have to support the businesses that enforce them…it’s as simple as that. This type of “reporting” is why this country can’t get over the hump of this pandemic.

    Ads, ads, and more ads!
If it weren’t for the ad bombardment before and during the podcast, it would be 5 stars. The content is fun and educational if you can sit through all the commercials. We timed an episode and it had 12 mins of ads before the podcast even started! The intro music is too loud and obnoxious too- many songs are much better suited for an RV podcast.

    Boondockers
Updated review - I used to really enjoy this podcast but no longer get excited to listen because it’s now way “over produced” the tv style inserted ads are really annoying and there are way too many ads! Mike and Jen please go back to your roots and just be yourselves again and cut the advertisement way down- wishing you the best ! Been listening for a long time. I have searched and tried all the other RV podcasts and this one is the only one I listen to every week. Mike and Jennifer cover a lot of topics for all types of RVers and campers with a focus on real world boondocking. Mike has a knack for the latest tech stuff to help inform his listeners on how to stay connected to the internet while cruising the country. One of the best parts of the podcast is his traveling reporters - they have the most creative stories from places “off the beaten path”.

    Question
Why are you guys so negative about me rv users? You guys say it’s for everyone then go ahead and bash people every episode for doing the “wrong” thing because they’re new to it
  • RVinSoul
Slipping a bit to a infomercial
Been listening since episode one but it is turning downhill. Over time, it has more and more ads, sponsors and now most content feels sponsored without saying so. Most interviews are with sponsors but not mentioned at the time. Sometimes costly things are hyped over and over while other superior things exist out there and never mentioned. I don’t mind making money but just don't like ads presented as something else.
  • The_Cooler_King
Not a fan of the YouTube/Podcast combo
Have enjoyed the pod for over a year and the new format isn’t podcast friendly. The audio hasn’t been the same (though not as bad as the first two) and I listen to podcasts so I don’t have to watch anything. That’s what YouTube is for. Too frustrating to listen to. 😔
  • TamisTunes
    Great podcast
Love this podcast. People may complain about the commercials but they need sponsors so good for them for being that podcast that these sponsors want to support them. Love the info and love the relationship that these two show throughout the show. Looking forward to many more shows. Also love the segment of off the beaten path. Great stories. Tami
  • BooRae1
    Great podcast, but...
This would be a solid 5star and the best RV Podcast available but the segment lead ins are so obnoxiously loud and abrupt that you do not want to listen to this podcast with head phones on (painful) or if someone is sleeping while you are driving. Several people have commented the same so hopefully they will fix it, but haven’t yet. The news segment is awesome, but is the worst with the lead in. Again, great podcast, just not fun to listen to.

Great info on many RV related topics
Listen here or watch on YouTube and you will learn valuable information on many RV topics. They cover it all!
  • UpstateNY14428
    Too many commercials
90 % commercials, 10 % info. Biased reviews. These folks are just in it for the money grab / advertising dollars. Don't waste your time.
  • Hiding out in North Idaho
    A lot of good information
I am pretty new to all this RV stuff. I really appreciate the information you share, especially regarding medical emergencies. As we get older, that becomes important stuff.
  • TheMachinist302
Please let go of the 90s intro and content breaks
Look, I really like this podcast. As an avid RVer, we don't have many podcasts that really put out consistent content, and this one is great for that. But my god, the intro and breaks between content is straight out of the 90s with multiple voice changes, a vuvuzela!, record scratches, stutters, cmon.. Let it go, it's terrible and lowers the quality of what is an otherwise great podcast. I cringe every time they go to a new segment with some ridiculous title followed by a ridiculous 90s radio break.

    A must listen!
If you enjoy the outdoors and traveling, this podcast is a MUST to subscribe to! Mike and Jennifer are so professional and informative while being entertaining, positive, and motivating to get out on the road. I don’t even own an RV, but enjoy dreaming along with them as they tell stories, give tips, and share their knowledgeable insite. They are trustworthy and you feel like you get to know them. Plus, they bring in excellent interviews and reports! Very enjoyable and a relaxing escape for the everyday life.
  • Chai4mom
    Great RV tips
Love listening to Mike And Jennifer’s news, tips, recommendations, and suggestions for RVers. My only complaint is that the transition music/sound between segments is significantly louder than the segments and our ears get blasted each time. Wish they were modulated so we didn’t have to jump to turn the sound down each time they come up.

    Enjoy your Podcast!
I was wondering if you have ever thought of going to Beaver Island Michigan?

    Great podcast
Very informative. Mike and Jennifer are some of the hardest working people anywhere in the camping circle. One of the podcasts I have followed from the very beginning and continue to listen to every episode as well as YouTube, newsletters and other information that they continue to send out. And they also have some excellent guides they have put out at a very reasonable price point. Honestly I sometimes wonder when they sleep. They continue to keep my interest. Great job!

    informative and timely
I enjoy this podcast. The Wendlands are very personable, the podcast is structured with timely information. Well worth the time Put Mike and Jennifer in your ear,.
  • Steveo11284
Interviews are great. The ads are excessive.
I love the actual interviews. What I don’t love is that half of the podcast is full of paid advertisements. Seems really excessive podcast.
  • Bob6228
    Never again.
80% commercials! 10% boring BS and maybe 10% useful information. This was my first time listening and really LOL how ignorant the advice on the coronavirus was. The only reason why I continued to listen was because I was taking a bath!!
  • Vwalburn
    Great resource for RV information!
We don’t even own an RV but planning on getting one in the future. Love learning about the lifestyle before getting into it ourselves. Hope to avoid some beginner mistakes when the time come. Keep up the great work! Love listening!

    For the rest of us!
Not all of us can go to Mercedes for service and stay in the resorts and “clubs.” Any chance on a few episodes on a cheaper way to go as far as maintaining and mechanical?

    Valuable Info
Thank you Mike and Jenifer for providing valuable information on many aspects of the RV lifestyle. My husband and I are going full time in July 2020 and we are currently learning as much as we can to minimize the crazy we know we are about to encounter working full time on the road. We enjoy listening to the podcast to find out things we didn’t even know existed or needed to look out for. Your podcast offers a wide variety of information and we appreciate you talking about different aspects of the RV Lifestyle because it significantly cuts down our research time. The 3 things we were very thankful for discovering this month while listening to past episodes are: 1) Battle Born Batteries 2) UP Adventure Guide 3) RV Technical Institute We already bought the 3 batteries and the guide and my husband plans to attended the one week training to learn the basics of RV’s.
