Lovely in-depth podcast detailing a bygone era of television. I especially enjoy that the episodes are not just a plot synopsis, but a well rounded discussion about the various elements that make up the show (voice acting, production value, etc) Pretty good.

I tried to like this podcast but after sloughing through 2 hours of them crapping on cartoon classics I just couldn't continue. I get it, you're above simply enjoying a cartoon, but you don't have to try and wreck it for everybody else. There are some things in life that don't need to be analyzed to death, and I've since realized that two people spending over an hour analyzing a 25 minute children cartoon is definitely not something the world needs.

Just when I thought I knew everything about Saturday Morning Cartoons. These guys get my nostalgia juices flowing talking about these obscure cartoon shows thinking I was the only one who watched them! Tuning in for more!

I'll keep this short and to the point. -the hosts/guest hosts are funny or at least enjoyable -they stick to the subject matter -they talk about some seriously obscure stuff when it comes to 80s cartoons -episodes are a good length -no ads for ZipRecruiter, Stamps.com, Audible, Ring Video Doorbell... no ads at all except promotions for the hosts

Oh hey, I'm kinda partial to this here podcast. I've only missed a couple of episodes out of the ~200 and I look forward to it each and every week.

Unlike several game podcasts I've tried, I can tell these guys actually like what they're reviewing. The show may or may not be something they like, but each show they are excited to talk about their subject. I'm starting at the beginning and they are starting with okay audio quality, although I constantly hear noises from their computers. Considering they've dissected opening theme songs for 25 minutes in some of the episodes (Silverhawks) I'd really love to hear snippets of the theme music. I understand they're probably worried about copyright violations, but their podcast would definitely fall under fair use rules. I really wanted to hear the Dinosaucers riff! Up the audio quality and add some of the theme music to improve, but this podcast is easily in my top 5 favorites without those things.

Awesome podcast to help me remember cartoons from my childhood

I miss the days of rolling out of bed every Saturday morning, grabbing a bowl of cereal and planting myself in front of the tv until noon. This podcast takes me right back. Thanks to these guys, I may never have to fully grow up.

This is a great podcast that really evokes those old Saturday mornings waking up groggy and mustering up enough energy to turn on the tv to catch the Saturday morning cartoon line-ups. If you ever wished you were old enough to understand every little detail and turn of phrase/social message from your childhood cartoons and then be able to discuss and/or rip them apart with your friends. Then look no further than this podcast. Nailed it.

I just ate some deviled eggs, and they were delicious. I would like more deviled eggs, but I'm all out, so instead, I'll like this podcast, because it is as delicious as deviled eggs. Yum.

There is nothing more fun or hilarious than revisiting cartoons with your adult glasses on. Fun, goofy, insightful -- SMC is like sitting around talking with your buds about how great/terrible/awesome/atrocious some of these oldies are.
