It’s pretty amazing how good of a pastor he was. I used to hear him for years. But I didn’t listen hearing him and listening to him two different things. It didn’t make sense to years later. When I got saved in my 50s I Calvary Chapel Chino Hills with a jack Hibbs. All the preachers came out from Chuck Smith. Pretty amazing now I listen to Chuck Smith and hear Chuck Smith goes into the soul and makes everything so clear by the Holy Spirit. Listen to Chuck Smith here. Chuck Smith act on Chuck Smith. I love listening to Pastor Chuck. I wish I had met him when he was still alive as I think he was an awesome teacher. And I also love his sense of humor and the way he explains things. I also now listen to his protégé, Pastor Greg Laurie.

I am not happy that these five daily sermons haven’t been a updated for four days! Please tell me you haven’t stopped.

I was saved in 1997 and attended Cccm and was so blessed by the anointed teachings. Pastor Chuck was a once in a lifetime pastor. God used this humble man. I am forever blessed by his teachings.

There is quite honestly no one like Pastor Chuck! I have been listening to his teachings now for over 45 years. I always learn something new, and he feeds my soul! There is no substitute for teaching the Bible chapter by chapter and verse by verse. He is the gold standard! I am so incredibly grateful for Pastor Chock! His teaching never ceases to bless me. It’s so simple and so clear. He has truly been used of the Lord to change my life!

The intro song is remarkably awful. It’s only by the power of the Holy Spirit in me that I can get through that 30 seconds to hear Pastor Chuck preach in a way that’s easy to listen to and follow, while not getting away from preaching the Bible. The length is just right for a daily podcast. Love it. Except the intro song. That part is dreadful.

One of my favorite teachers of the Bible. I love the way he applies it with life. His personal stories are the treats of his teaching.

Im grateful this teaching is available for me to listen and learn God’s word today even though pastor Smith has passed on. His teaching is simple and straightforward. I’m growing in understanding the Bible with each podcast.

God used Chuck Smith to draw me to Jesus in 1998 as a lost young woman. I would drive on the I-5 in CA and hear his preaching on the radio. I’ve been growing in Jesus for all these years now. Thankful for this ministry!

PastorChuck has been my favorite Bible Teacher for 35yrs his clear and balanced Bible teaching is in surpassed. I listened to him on KWVE for 20 years and now that I’m living in Utah I still get to listen to him on podcast. Thank you Word For Today for everything you do to keep his teachings alive.

One of the only pastor/bible teachers that I respect and admire on Kwave that explains the scriptures and accurately teaches the Word. I might not see eye to eye on non essentials but on the core truths of Christian living he is definitely worth listening to!

Podcast has been down for over a week now and it makes my ears sad.

Want to grow a relationship with God? Learning His Word “The Bible” is a great place to start building a good foundation. My love for God grows daily when I learn His word and spend time in prayer!!

Reminds me of a grandpa telling the grand kids stories. God has truly used this man to do great things while he was here. Teaches in a very pleasing and gentle way while still being sound in teaching the Bible. For those who don’t know, he along with Calvary Chapel which the Lord started through Pastor Chuck Smith teach verse by verse, chapter by chapter. I’ve listened to pastor Chuck for 15 yrs and every time I hear him teach I learn something new! He is simply one of the beat teachers of the Bible I have ever listened to! His chapter by chapter teaching and the way he explains the versus is extraordinary and it pulls you in and don’t want to stop listening

I cannot say how much this podcast has helped me grow in my walk with the lord. Pastor Chuck goes verse by verse through the Bible and explains what it all means and gives the relative context to explain it in everyday language that the Bible is easier to understand and relate to. Last year was the worst year of my life. I had a lung collapse, tore two tendons in my knee and one in my shoulder, my younger sister was diagnosed with a brain tumor and given 5 years to live, my other sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, and after 6 months of testing and multiple biopsies I was told I had follicular lymphoma and thyroid cancer. The only thing that got me through it was listening daily to Pastor Chuck, often for several broadcasts at a time. It helped me reaffirm my faith and know that whatever the outcome on Earth, there were good things in my family’s future. My family is recovering slowly, but when you are faced with that kind of darkness, hope is hard to come by. I thank God for his continued broadcasts, which I still listen to daily, and hope to one day give him a giant hug when I get to Heaven.

I never had the opportunity to meet Pastor Chuck Smith nor attend his church, but having listened to a number of his messages in the past has been a real blessing for me! Though not the biggest fan of technology, it does have its uses. Thank you for keeping Pastor Smith’s sermons freely available and please keep it updated. I really enjoy listening to him, God Bless!

I have been listening and reading along daily with Pastor Chuck since Oct. 25, 2011 (the start of the first podcast reading through the Bible) marking my bible with the beginning and ending of the daily reading. This is such a blessing to me. I am now on the second time reading of the Bible and each time I listen to God’s word, I learn more.
