I’ve listened to Handgun Radio Podcast for years. I last left a review over a year ago. I thought it was high time to update it. I’ve enjoyed countless hours of listening to episodes of Handgun Radio for many years now. However, recently I’ve noted that there has been a disturbing trend in recently released episodes. I’ve noticed that all the ‘new’ episodes were recorded over 3 months ago at the end of 2023. What’s up with this???? Can we’re please get some episodes that have been recorded in the past couple of weeks?

Been listening for years and love the drink segment. I do however wish that dude David would shut up for like 5 seconds during an episode. It really kills the vibe of the episode and he cuts off everyone including guests

Stick to handguns and not whiskey.

Huge fan of the show but not a fan at all of Stephen from primary arms - ruins the interaction between everyone and is a typical blow hard

Just hanging out with the guys. Have a chuckle in the shop. Oh, also, talking about handguns isn't shunned.

Love listening to the show and you folks make me keep looking for old handguns which lead me to find a ruger p85 today.

Talk about guns not cookies and whiskey or bourbon

I love listening to firearm related podcasts that remain generally focused on the topic. This particular episode #348 caught my attention as a relatively new handgun owner. 13minutes before any talk of firearms then another 16minutes before we got to the topic of the podcast. 29minutes:30seconds. I get you have some banter back and forth but wow... I think you guys could tighten the show up a little - or at least consider adding a note as to where you jump into your topic discussion. Still gave you a decent star rating though because when you finally got there it was informative.

I would rate it 6 stars of you added me so someone could talk more about glocks!

A couple of yutzes from Maine talk about all things Maine/ New England and throw in a little bit of gun talk. Very uninteresting people.

I’m a huge fan of the Smith & Wesson 617 also! It’s a fantastic option for every trip to the range. Keep it up guys!

I’m not a revolver or 1911 guy but I do like drinks and food although rarely the kind of food they talk about but still I look forward to each new show.

Good info and conversation but that dude constantly clicking his gun was maddening. Co host said something and he kept doing it. Step it up brother!!

Shorten every show 10 minutes by cutting out the beginning during which everyone is asleep anyway.

If you are not into cooking and drinking liquor, skip the first 20 min of each episode. Otherwise it is a great podcast about handguns.

When I listen to a gun podcast, I want to hear about guns not food, drinking, movies, etc. sorry not for me I tried fast forward 15 min but sometimes they just rambled on passes that. They are good guys and know their stuff but I just can’t do it

I look forward to their new episodes and I find there firearm education in the realm of excellence. There are so many things that I learn from every episode. It’s also very entertaining thanks guys for the hard and time consuming work!!! Keep it up.

Ryan and Weerd put on a very informative podcast. I’ve learned quite a bit. I also enjoy the guests like Daniel Waters and Grant Cunningham Keep up the good work.

I like the low key discussion typically with only two people. Other gun podcasts often have four or more guys yucking it up and droning on about gun politics. Stick to no more than three talkers and let the other shows do the politics stuff and this will continue to be a great firearms podcast.

I listen to a lot of outdoor, hunting and especially gun pod casts. I finally had enough of this group who all they do is slam and mock what your average gun enthusiast owns. Very negative. I am out. There are plenty of other gun podcasts out there Big bear

Weer’d and his side Brian give great gun information and some pistols and revolvers I’ve never heard off. It great to hear new perspectives on handguns. More Hog, always makes more hog

This is one of the better firearm podcasts. The topics are interesting, the hosts have decent chemistry, and they have their own takes on guns and gear.

Because of my love for handguns this is my favorite firearms related show, possibly tying with the We Like Shooting Show. I truly enjoy listening to Ryan and Weerd(sp?) wax poetic about everything handguns. I learn something almost every week and am genuinely entertained every time. Ryan, you have kindled a possible new interest in wheel guns for me. Weerd, your drinks segment is always interesting, despite the fact that I don’t actually drink very much (I have yet to try any of your recipes, but find three fascinating anyways). I would be interested to hear more gunsmithing type topics on the show, but the current formula you two have going is definitely working for me so don’t change on my account. Keep up the great work, I look forward to every week.

As a pistol shooter and aficionado at heart, I love that this show is here to give in depth and current discussion on everything that’s new or changing important to handgunners and our rights. Thanks guys!

The title and description are misleading. The host describes this show as your home for news tips tricks and information in the handgunning world. There are no tips, or tricks, or really any discussion whatsoever on training tips, self defense, tactics, or anything related to actually using a handgun. There's also next to no discussion about any modern handguns (for 2017 NRA show review instead of a review of the maxim 9 or Hudson h9, two truly revolutionary designs, we get a review on a snubnose, a 1911, and a colorful Taurus 380). What this show does talk about is revolvers, oddball guns that are 100 years old, revolvers, the occasional 1911, revolvers, and then for some reason there's a segment dedicated to cocktails, because that goes really well with handgun discussion. If you want to hear two hosts read about obscure old handguns off the internet, or if you're into revolvers, this will be a good show for you. For anyone who wants to hear about modern guns, or for anyone who wants to hear about how to use your handgun, listen to Handgun World with Bob Mayne.

One of my favorite podcast. Great content with even better interviews. I love the fact that they appreciate revolvers as much as they do.

Love the 30 minute(ish) podcast. Basically two friends sitting around talking guns. They don't talk over your head or dumb things down. They make you feel as if you could have a nice drink and talk guns with them.

By far my favorite gun podcast. Highly recommended!

Is the profanity and coarseness really necessary? Though perhaps a small minority, I suspect there are some, like myself, who have families that would greatly be helped with much of what you have to offer. I think we can be better. Something to think about.

Just getting back into handguns and this podcast is like an education class to me! Enjoying it very much!

Wonderful podcast that gets 5 stars because a higher score isn't available. The podcast is a relaxed atmosphere yet the hosts cover a ton of topics in a detailed manner. Gun ownership politics are not often discussed which is a welcomed difference from other podcasts. Too much of the politics can be overwhelming and this podcast the sweet spot. The recent episode with Ryan Michad and Weerd Beard interviewing Hickok45 was great! They hit the trifecta by talking Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. I hope Ryan brought the chips! This podcast is well done and always looked forward to.
