I’m totally kidding. This has actually become one of my all-time favorite podcasts. Josie is great. She’s quirky and cute as the day is long. All of the stories are fun little glimpses into interesting lives and bits of fun from all over the place. I’m glad I just found out about the show so that I can binge for a week or two, and now I’m jealous that you get to have them all for the first time also. Cheers.

Short cuts are beautifully curated shorts. Close your eyes, listening to each short is completely immersive. Josie Long is fabulous.

The absolutely adorable pixie-ish Josie Long has the PERFECT voice for this PERFECT docu-series; Irresistibly produced, every episode is comprised of three 9-min. true stories (centered around one topic), and Ms Long’s voice adds a little bit of magic - thanks to her magnetic, instantly likable personality. I am 100% sure that it is SHE that is responsible for the longevity and popularity of the Short Cuts Podcast and I’m so happy to listen to her program again. Brings back memories of much happier times... 😥...)...

An absolute delight. Surprising, intelligent, entertaining, and wonderful voice.

I love this podcast! Josie Long is an excellent host, deftly weaving together a variety of well-curated short stories, all inspired by one theme per episode. You might get something surreal and weird, a dreamy soundscape, unbelievable true stories, found audio - it's always a great mix. I got hooked listening to "So It Goes", which features stories inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's writings. Josie tackles some difficult subjects from time to time, but always with great thoughtfulness and humanity.

This is a must hear - a one of a kind show. Josie Long somehow finds some of the most fascinating and intriguing stories that have flitted across the world's airwaves. There's never a dull moment, and the show is tailor made for Internet attention spans. Holding it all together, Josie's style is warm and conspiratorial, as if you're best friends sharing a secret in the corner of a pub or coffee shop. And she always sounds like she's smiling :-)

One of my top 5 favorite podcasts. Funny, insightful, scary, thought-provoking, with random music snippets. Easy to listen to at face value, but I find myself recalling bits and pieces for days afterward. Absolutely brilliant.

This podcast is similar to This American Life in that the episodes are themed and feature stories from ordinary people, but it's (obviously) British and more artistically produced, with poems and audio art mixed in. Love! ❤️

I know, that seems hyperbolic, but this is truly the radio show (and podcast) that I love the most. It is human through-and-through, creating sonic worlds from some of the most fragile and detailed human experiences we can all relate to. The Short Cuts' team are all at the top of their game, and this is the show that will leave me completely gutted, should they ever stop. Thank you for all of your amazing, spine-tingling, goose-bumper(ing) work!

Witty, heartfelt, soulful and just plain delightful. Josie Long has a soothing, fun voice that tickles my heart and makes me feel happy. The stories are engaging, unexpected and they illustrate the spectrum of being human.

The only problem with this podcast is that there isn't enough of them. Josie is adorable, and so real. The stories are weird and wonderful. Listening to this show is like going on vacation. It's necessary and frivolous at the same time.

You always seem to find very interesting and thought provoking stories. You have a fabulous voice as well. I was bummed nothing had been uploaded in a while but so glad you are back!

I just listened to all 10 in a row. They are thought provoking and unusual. You'll love them.

I down loaded it a few weeks ago but just started listening to it today and now I'm hooked. Can't wait until the next one.
