As a cinematographer this podcast is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. I listen to every episode and sometimes listen to an episode 2-3 times! Ben Consoli and Connor Crosby have crafted an amazing podcast that inspires and educated me to be a better filmmaker.

I don’t know of any other podcast or place for this kind of behind the scenes information where you get such wonderful technical insight on how a show/movie is filmed. Sure you can subscribe to American Cinematographer, but Ben grounds his interviews with A-List DPs and filmmakers on a human level that makes you feel like anything is possible and you too can make your dreams come true. This podcast covers all aspects of cinematography from the technical details of camera, lenses, lighting, blocking… to the lifestyle and relationship side of what its really like dedicating part of your life to a film. If you’re a filmmaker or aspiring filmmaker I can’t recommend the Go Creative Show enough. I’ve been DPing for 10+ years and am always excited to listen to the next episode because I know I will learn something new. And better yet…be inspired for my next project knowing I have a new trick or two up my sleeve. Thanks Ben for all of your dedication to this show and love for the movie making process. Action!

This show has been instrumental in furthering my education as to what it’s like to be working on a modern Film Set as a DP! Having just graduated Film School, this show has been ON IT! The Cinematographers who come on to the show are working on some of the biggest Films of the year including the Oscar winning Greg Fraser, who shot Dune! The Host, Ben Consoli is awesome and asks ALL the question we want to hear about how specific scenes were shot even down to the specific camera and lens package that they chose with the director. I’m trying to break into commercial and narrative film as a freelancer right now and this show has helped to steer me in the right direction! S/O Dallas!

I am only two episodes in (watching via YouTube) and it’s one of the best filmmaking and cinematography podcasts I’ve ever come across. The host Ben is super on top of his game and extremely knowledgeable, getting some great interviews out of really famous DPs and other crew; gets unique answers in comparison to some of the same old tired questions filmmakers get asked over and over. You will learn a lot even from a few minutes listening.

It has been a while since I have been listening and as always, great content. As a cinematographer, always great information to learn and improve on. I Always recommend this podcast to other cinematographers and aspiring ones.

I’m so happy I found this show. I’m a bit of a film buff and have always been interested in behind-the-scenes. Go Creative Show is perfect for me. I feel like I’m learning so much about the film industry... even though I can barely take a picture let alone make a movie. The podcast gets technical sometimes, but the host keeps it conversational and casual enough for pros and enthusiasts alike.

The Go creative podcast keeps me up-to-date and sharp. I’ve learned so much and I appreciate the knowledge and insights shared by the filmmakers.

How tf are you gonna invite a creative into your show only to belittle their career w back handed questions that are just plain rude and prejudiced. After multiple attempts I couldn't even make it through the whole podcast episode.

I've been listening to this podcast now for last several weeks and the quality of every episode simply amazes me. The guest keep getting better the questions are really well thought out, and I feel like a come away knowing not only more about the business, art and creativity of the industry, but also the people involved. The production quality that goes into each and everyone of these podcasts is phenomenal. I look forward to it every time there's a new episode and I've gone back and listened to a ton of the old ones. If you're wanting to just get started or if you been in the business for a while, this is an awesome resource not to be missed.

If you are in the Film, TV, & Video industry this is a must listen podcast. Easiest way to stay up to date w/ what's going on in our industry from a technical perspective as well as from a creative. Plus it's amazingly well produced. Way to go Ben. Keep up the good work.

A very well produced podcast—content only get you so far—and Ben has both. An excellent source of what’s new out there and interviews with heavy hitters in the filmmaking. Real discussions and no fluff. The closest thing to negative that I can say—and it’s not a bad thing—is that I want more!

I listen to a number of video production podcasts but this is the best of the lot. Ben Consoli @benconsoli is a superb interviewer and Matt Russell @gainstructure provides the best audio production in a podcast I’ve heard. My only complaint is there are not enough episodes. Keep up the great work!
