JontheoneandonlyLove HPMORI discovered HPMOR through Eneasz’s podcast and it kept me entertained through many a work day. The occasional foray into other works during the interludes was a nice plus, but you can always skip those if you’re not interested.

Kylet30AMAZING!I first read HPMOR manually after it was suggested to me by a coworker; however, every other time I’ve re-gone back to experience this story I’ve used this podcast. The voice acting is phenomenal and I love the supplemental music that accompanies the episodes. Beyond HPMOR; this podcast also has Metropolitan Man which is an amazing story in its own right. All this doesn’t even include the analysis episodes going over HPMOR, MM, and now worth a candle. These have all been very insightful and have had me very excited for their weekly releases. I guess what I’m trying to say is I truly love this channel and I’m so glad it exists and that I was able to find it.

JustAnotherLokiVariantDraco Malfoy Rationality? Why don’t you guys do Draco Malfoy and the Practice of Rationality? 105king I like that idea. I too am tired of having to scroll through a bunch of other episodes to find what I want

kari8009can we just have hpmor?ok i’ll start off by saying that HPMOR is 6/5 stars it’s amazing and the audio is too. i’ve listened to the whole thing through several times over the past few years and every six months or so i relisten. but it’s so tough to scroll through the other stuff - could you release all of HPMOR in podcast form in some separate podcast so we can just listen through that?? thank you!!

DariusM0F0Great job guys!Love the podcast thanks for putting it into audio form. Would love to see you take a crack at White Squirrel’s The Arithmancer. It is as long if not longer than HPMOR and centers on Hermione and focuses on a love of math instead of her love of books. It’s just as in-depth on the mathematics as HPMOR is on rationality. Without spoiling too much if you haven’t read it I will say that it involves nanomachines, ritual math, radiology, the horrors of war, and an absolutely and expertly written fight between Bellatrix Black and Hermione.

Blueberry FatheadWe want a different kind of more.I’ve been trying to push through the We Want MoR podcast hoping that the hosts would actually start to improve... they do not. They do not edit out the sound of swallowing their spit, which one host regularly does directly into the microphone, they do not know the original Harry Potter books very well and often get things flat out wrong and are insistent that they are right, for a harmless example, insisting that Sirius Black who was in Azkaban till book 3 had given Harry the invisibility cloak in book 1. They also do not read MoR for comprehension and regularly flat out misread the text, acknowledge they think it makes no sense the way they read it but insist that it was the intended reading, and not bothering to re-read what had confused them in the first place. The host who is new to the series even over 40 chapters in who is aware that there are many mysteries to be solved... hasn’t been writing down and trying to figure out even what directions to look, they’ve just got to the point of I should be paranoid, but no clue what about. In conclusion, if you finish MoR and want more... there are fanfiction stories based on it or continuing from it that are much more worth your time. I would give the We Want MoR podcast 0 stars for lack of effort if the option existed.

Stranger&StrangerStillWhite-Knuckle Rollercoaster Ride of Unexpected TwistsBrilliant. You will laugh. You will want to cry. You will pump your fist in the air. FINALLY, a frighteningly intelligent Voldemort, a no-nonsense Harry, a believable Draco redemption story, and an uncompromising Hermione take center stage in an unforgettable epic tale. Perfect for long car rides.

`Mr. FantasticAbsolutely AmazingMash Artemis Fowl and Ender Wiggen into a single person and put them in hogwarts and that's HPMOR. Draco's transformation, Hermoine's heroinism, Quirell's intelligence, the humanist/rationalist lessons... this podcast is amazing.
-
Presto_maniaGod bless this podcastI am so thankful to you for creating this delightful podcast!
-
Voice of AthenaFantastic! In addition to being undoubtedly the greatest compendium of rationalist fiction of all time, this is also just an incredibly well-made podcast. Kudos!
-
pgrabin1Still awesome!Edited- Recently re-listed to the HP Methods series and still love it. The other fics and essay posts are also thought-provoking. —- I love this podcast! So professional and fun but with complex adult situations and thoughts. So glad I now have more intelligent fanfic/podcast options than I previously expected!

Just a boy trying his bestAmazing! This is honestly one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. The quality is great and the content is even better!

Ashand0305hpatmorI love this!!

RunamokeKillerI was introduced to this podcast by my brother, and when he told me it was a Harry Potter fanfic I immediately grimaced, as I had always been disappointed with the cliched motifs, lack of deep character development, and sub-par world building of the original HP stories. This fanfic remedies almost all complaints I have of the original works. It is easily in my top ten sci-fi books/stories and if a paper copy of it existed I would buy it in a heart beat. The only slight flaw in the podcast version is that the first 20 episodes are of a noticeably lower quality than the rest of it, but that is to be expected of non-professional work. If you appreciate the blending of science and magic as I do, you will no doubt binge the podcast in a few weeks. P.S.: It’d be great to continue on with this fanfic with Significant Digits by Alexander D.

Alexander Ryan BaldwinTruly SpectacularI've just finished this and I have few words that come to mind. I've read literally hundreds of novels and most of them were good, many of them were great, a few were truly spectacular. This brings one of the greatest novels I have ever read to life in a way that only improves upon it. Should you ever only listen to one podcast, and if you like intelligent fiction and Harry Potter or if you ever asked "Why didn't they just..." while reading Harry Potter, you should listen to this podcast. There are some episodes where he includes other fiction, and frankly I skipped most of them the first time around and you probably will too. There are alright. But Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality is truly spectacular. And, it's free, so you have no excuse not to listen to it.

thefaeriesrevengeCouldn't stopI found out about this after it was done and promised myself I would read the e-book first before re-reading in podcast form, but made an exception for a car trip and listened to one episode about 1/4 way in, then binged the rest of the story in 3 days. I'm now on a mission to read everything Eliezer Yudkowsky has written and find any other podcasts associated with Eneasz Brodski.
-
JonathanLeungMy favorite podcast of all timeOMG, this is my favorite book and the podcast does an EXCELLENT job at creating the entire scene for me. The voice acting feels so—freaking amazing! Thank so much for creating this into the world all! Much love and gratitude! (but seriously anyone here reading this, listen to this podcast, you'll thank me later (although your boss may not—it's that good))

soupadupa👏👏👏Really love the production on this read. Lots of fun, a real labor of love.

-
Drouch DevourWell worth itIt's a great spin off story of Harry Potter that is both adventure and intellectual. If you're interested in psychology and human behavior this is a good listen for you.
-
Last of the DunedainMy favoriteAn amazing remediation of a life changing book. This free podcast is higher quality then most professional, payed audiobooks. The stories besides methods are also well chosen and read at the same quality. I wish everyone would listen to this, it really can improve your life.
-
meme.addictGreat Rational Thinking in a Familiar SettingThis is an extremely well-done podcast by volunteers. It is better than many professionally produced audiobooks I’ve read. The storyline is fun and has some great thought experiments on how magic could work and how to do scientific testing with it.
-
Grey fox of the misty valeExcellent workThis is an extraordinary work that gives an entirely new twist to the Harry Potter multiverse. Very well written, and an excellent job done by the entire team that converted this story to a podcast / audiobook format. This is definitely an eye-opener. If it doesn't get you thinking or re-evaluating your surroundings, you've missed out on some of the wonder this has to offer.

Holly HeresyMore Than Worth the Parchment It Wasn't Written OnAs much as I loved HPMOR, I was a tad apprehensive about the podcast. How could an enactment possibly live up to such an astounding piece of fiction? I was very glad to find my reservations to be unfounded. Brodski & the crew managed to bring HPMOR to glorious, surround-sound life.

KameradaveDedicated and ThoroughYears of work paid off with this excellent rendioning of a wonderful piece of literature. The podcast makes the material very engaging and it has genuinely improved my life in a significant way. Many thanks. Can't wait for the end to roll in soon!
-
User please2Excellent rendition of HPIncredibly entertaining and well thought-out parallel universe of Harry Potter. Like a rationalist, come to it with an open mind, and you'll be amused by Harry's cunning. A shocker here and there keeps the story far from being mundane or a repetition of the canonical adventures.
-
hqmqAn amazing storyThis is a great story and I first fell in love with it by listening to this podcast. The voice actors are great and the sound effects make it even more immersive.

REL6355I Cannot Believe How Truly Brilliant This All Is...I’m a big fan of the Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling. I’ve read all seven novels multiple times. And as a result I can say how impressive it is that Rowling hides numerous clues in plain sight in volume 1, the significance of which are not revealed until volume 7. Amazingly, having now listened to this podcast numerous times (it’s not quite done yet; 3 more chapters to go, but I’ve read these in print form), that Eneasz Brodski has accomplished the same thing. Very clever clue dropping throughout the book, the significance of which only becomes clear at the end. Clearly, even though the book was printed as a serial that came out over (I think) 5 years, he had all the clever plot details planned out from the beginning. Anyone—EVERYone—who is a Potter series fan AND a rationalist, an economist, a libertarian, a devotee of reason and science, or just a nerd, will LOVE this work. I cannot praise it highly enough. The clever tweaks on the original Rowling story…the introduction to rational thinking…the application of economic reasoning. It’s SO good. AND the PODCAST makes it even better. The clever voices, music, sound effects. Clearly a work of love and devotion. (Sorting) Hats off to everyone.

JroetzerLove itOne of my favorite fanfics as an audiodrama? Hell yeah.

RyehornFantastic podcastVery entertaining book and very well read

MayaLynnGreat Story and a Great Multi-Voice Reading! This may well be the best way to experience this fantastic story. As of early 2015, all the episodes have been updated to contain a full and even more varied cast of voices. The editing is wonderful, and this podcast quickly became one of my favorites to see and hear updates from. ^_^
-
PlattyfattyAbsolutely IncredibleAfter reading the first few chapters a couple of months ago, I began listening to the podcast exclusively to follow the story. Taking into account how long it has taken me to finally catch up to the current podcast is a testament to just how much time and effort has gone into this porduction over the years. To me, these voices are the characters and I couldnt be more happy about that fact. This is some high quality entertainment.
-
Asl478Constantly entertaining and engaging! This is probably in the top 3 of all my favorite podcasts. As a die hard Harry Potter fan, I was skeptical as to how much I would like a story line that was not true to the original works, but after just two episodes I was hooked and have been listening non stop. I don't know what I'm going to do when I catch up and have to wait two weeks between each new episode. This podcast makes you think, pokes and prods and what you think you know, and kick starts your creativity like no other podcast I have listened to. Great work!
-
don’t panicGreat podcast, fun listen. This is a great podcast. The story is its own, with some fun nods to the original series, and some inventive new additions. It gets its rationalist view point across while staying inside the plot and being very entertaining. The podcast itself is well produced and utilizes many quality voice actors that, along with the narrator himself, sound great. Thanks for the hard work!
-
3x10E8Go Ravenclaws!Wonderful story, amazing podcast. I wish this could be required reading / listening for anyone interested in being a scientist!
-
Steven ZuberVery Well DoneThis show is extremely well put together. The quality is on par with shows that have full teams of creators. A huge cast of voice actors, occasional sound tracks, and effective use of sound effects (not to mention a wonderful narrator) make this a fantastic show. Great in addition to the written chapters, but completely sufficient on it’s own as well.
-
Bruen GeorgeLove itFantastic story and the podcast is voiced very well

RachelwasHere15FantasticI’ve been listening to this podcast for years. The quality just keeps getting better and better, and the audience participation in narrating the story has been fun and interesting. While reading HPMOR is awesome, the podcast adds new life to the story, and engages me in a new way. I definitely recommend you try it out!

JKJ000089A Must ListenIf it wasn’t for this podcast, I don’t think I would have ever read “Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality.” And that would have been a shame for this is a story that everyone should have a chance to read. This is a well produced, well edited, podcast novel. And I love all the work that has gone into it. And I especially love the side stories like “Nineteen Neighty Four.”
-
Moe sialAwesome(x) = lim x->infinityI have relistened to this podcast in its entirety at least 10 times. This is a wonderful story with great variations on Rowlings characters. I sometimes even forget that I am also learning really useful critical thinking skills.
