Energy to share & a “Must Listen To” podcast!
I love the way Louise excitedly shares what she is working on, regardless of the craft. No matter what she is making, she has some enthusiasm to share with listeners about it. We all have the opportunity to celebrate the things that go as planned, and also lament the things that don’t, but at the end of all of it, we’ve learned to enjoy the process of making through Louise’s accounts of her experiences. This podcast is a “Must Listen To” podcast for sure.

    Multi-craftual to boot
Louise is the thoughtful friend, the one who helps put things in perspective, sees humor in even the toughest of moments and is multi-craftual to boot! Spending time listening to her podcast leaves me feeling engaged with my fellow crafters and renewed for the day. Louise’s reflective chats are especially good — not preachy, but worth some personal, inner examination. I love to listen while I’m walking with Fritz, my dog, or digging around in the garden.

    Lovely
I always enjoy Louise’s podcast. Love her voice, love the glimpses of her family & love to hear about this part of Scotland.

    An absolute favorite
Occasionally, I find myself daydreaming about the north of Scotland and sitting down with a bottle for a wee dram with Louise. I just really enjoy hearing about life and craft in her corner of the world. And the occasional puffin mention. Have a listen - I think you'll find her as charming and as funny as I do.

    Love this Podcast!
I love this podcast! I feel like I know Louise, Richard, Sandy, Daisy, the dogs, the dogs they take care of, etc. It is an absolute delight to listen to! I enjoy each section and feel a real part of the happenings! Keep going Louise! Fantastic!

    the BEST of Scotland
Louise's podcast is the best of Scotland. Her show focuses on crafts (knitting, sewing, paper) with humor, tenderness and an occasional tale of her beautiful Caithness in Scotland. One of my favorites. She's so charming and fun to listen to. Thanks Louise for a wonderful show.

    I can almost see Caithness!
Great podcast. These are the musings of a fiber and crafting loving Louise from Caithness, Scotland. I love hearing her "blether" on about her projects and adventures. She keeps me company as I work on my own projects!

    I don't do drams.....
But I LOVE listening to Richard sing and "Dram" along with Louise. Her podcast is a DELIGHT. She is all about craft and living in a beautiful country, loving her family and building a crafting community across the world. What's NOT to love?

    Love this Podcast!!!
I love how Louise brings us into her life, and lets us hear all about her crafting and life in the north of Scotland. I love the giggles, it is impossible not to laugh along with a child giggling, and it has brought my spirits up many times. She has wonderful crafty bits, some history bits for her area, and I love listening to her and her husband Richard with the Drams.

    LOVE MY Scottish girl :-)
Lousie is the sweetest podcaster out there. I remember the 1st time I listened I had to listen VERY closely to understand her :-) Which actually made it fun too. I love how she calls out listener's names , makes ya feel a part of it all. Congrats Lousie on your 100 edisodes.. & MANY MORE ! Love ya.. Lisalynn

    Wonderful!
I love this audiopodcast! It's the one I save for special listening--not just background chatter. A thoughtful essay at the beginning leads into the other newsy segments and the whole thing gets wrapped up with "the drams" where she and Richard (who has a great "radio voice") rate a whisky. So fun! I'm a fan!

    Such fun!
I really enjoy this podcast! I came to it for the knitting, but am just pleased with everything else Louise chats about. I spent over 4 years living in Scotland and being back in the States now, listening to Louise blether and taste a dram makes me feel like I'm right back in Edinburgh. I just love her cheery attitude as it certainly brightens me day. Thanks so much, Louise!

    Lovely!
I just love to listen to Louise, whether she’s discussing her latest craft (sewing, knitting, spinning, etc), the history of Caithness, or taste testing a dram with her husband Richard. She is enthusiastic, funny, self-effacing and generous of her time and spirit. Louise cares greatly about putting out a good podcast, and spends lots of time editing, adding interviews, and transitioning from one segment to the next with charming audio clips of her children. I’ve learned new techniques and discovered new to me designers, and enjoyed a virtual Robert Burns Night party or Hogmany with Louise. Thank you for over 100 episodes of entertainment.

    Save the BEST for Last!!
I currently subscribe to 46 podcasts; not all are daily/weekly transmissions Louise Hunt's podcast is posted about bi-monthly. I start getting anxious for it sooner than that....on the days designated to be pod-listening, I listen to all of the others first and save Louise's until last. Like Dessert. Leaving a sweet satisfying sense in your soul! Louise is charming, honest and most natural at her mic. The unscripted bits are the best! Listening is like sitting at her kitchen table visiting with her and a cuppa while she records, right down to sharing the presence of the family dog, Quatro, to pet as he ambles by. This feels like your best friend on a perfect day. One gets to know her native Scotland, the bairn (they'll soon feel like your own grandies) and her knowledgeable DH, Richard, who also has a wicked-good sense of humor. I love the craft introductions and L's experiments—Louise is self-effacing to a fault and again, honest in her opinions on her own work and the materials and techniques available to us all. This is complete package, a MUST Subscribe! Bobbie R

    Happy 100th Episode!
Louise is a gem, I’ve been listening for some time, and always enjoy the episodes. Louise has a fresh and totally unique take on everything she does and learns. She’s honest about her reactions to new things in the fiber community. I loved this 100th episode where she explained why she began her podcast. This one is a keeper, and should be on everyone’s list!!

    Love For Louise
Louise has a fun podcast that engages our imagination along with our need to be knitting or crafting. Always a pleasure to listen to, whether she's blethering with her mum, or having a dram with Richard, or hearing the wee ones giggling, we get carried happily along with her. Lend her a lug, she'll not disappoint!

    Love your podcast!
I just found you and and loving your accent. I have a golden retriever named Daisy. I am slowly working through all the episodes as I am on number 14 as I could only start at number 11. I would love to come to Scotland one day. Jennifer Mlcspouse on ravelry

    A jewel
Louise is such a jewel. I cannot help but smile when I listen to the show.

I love getting my dose of Louise!
I'm still catching up and know I'll be disappointed when I've listened to all the episodes - I'll have to wait to have my time with Louise! Being in landlocked Colorado, hearing the sounds of the sea, craft talk, the dram review, local talk of Caithness means an hour of smiles for me. I feel like I'm with a long time friend every time we "get together."
  • Craftnomad
    Funny crafty talk from Scotland
Louise is always does an interesting show with a bit of wit. She mixes it up with crafty talk, a bit of family news, drams, and sometimes her mum even makes a guest appearance. It's so important to have a pleasant and clearly modulated voice for an audio cast and Louise does a great job. Yes, she's got a Scottish accent, but if you're not Scottish all you have to do is listen. She enunciates quite clearly and pretty soon you'll be wishing you could talk like her!
  • Saucy Filly
    Lovely!
I love listening to Louise talk about her knitting and her family. I also love hearing about Scottish history. The best part is the Daisy giggles! Sometimes her accent and the local dialect leaves me scratching my head, but I can usually get the gist of Louise's monologue, even if I have to rewind and listen again. She is charming and her accent is certainly part of the charm! Well worth the time spent to listen.

    Delightful podcast for knitters
I feel that Louise and I are old friends having a wee chat over a cup of tea; she is delightful, imaginative, friendly, thoughtful, whimsical, personable, all the good things with a wry sense of humor thrown in for spice. If knitting is not your thing, stick around for The Drams, an informal single malt tasting that often appears at the end of the podcast.

    Still one of the best
This is one of the best podcasts around on any topic. Louise is a great podcaster and the guests are wonderful. Thanks Louise,

    Wonderful!
I absolutely LOVE this podcast. Many podcasts come and go, but this one has a permanent home on my iPod.

Good craft and good liquor - what's not to like?
The only problem with Caithness Craft Collective is I can only listen in the evening, so I can pour a brandy while I listen to Louise and Richard review their whiskey of the week. Otherwise their wonderful descriptions just make me green with envy. The descriptions of Scotland and of all of the various crafts are wonderful - they make me want to visit Scotland and revisit some of the crafts of my past. Most of all, after all the laughs and even sighs she's given us, I'd love to visit Louise in person.
  • Joi Lynn
    Delightful!
Louise is absolutely charming! She keeps her podcast refreshing and light while sharing stories about her crafting life in northern Scotland. Most certainly one of my favorite podcasts and I look forward to every episode. Well done, Louise!

    Witty and Smart
Louise brings you into her world of crafting, family, and the Scottish Highlands and makes you want to stay. You'll laugh out loud, learn a bit about Scotland and find yourself wishing you could pop over to visit in person...and that's not just so you can share the drams!

    Feel Good Podcast.
Louise is a ball of energy. She keeps me smiling through the whole podcast, and the "Daisy laugh" makes me giggle every time. She talks about knitting, Scotland and Whisky. I am not a drinker, but I enjoy her and her husband when they are sampling their drams.
  • Nopapertoday
    Love it!
What a wonderful podcast. It feels like your in the same room with Louise, with a cup of tea, having a chat.

    So glad I found you!
I listened to 2 podcasts so far and I'm in love! What a wonderful voice and you had me laughing out loud. You make me want to do crafty things all day. And your daughters voice is just the cutest. Interesting topics and love the references to other podcasts and website. I will wait for every podcast from now on.

Knitting Pipeline said everything I had to say about this podcast. Truely enjoy listening.

    Charming, funny, and interesting
I really enjoy this knitting podcast. Louise is a winner! Her accent takes of bit of getting used to, but even if you don't understand a word it is musical. I've just listened to about a dozen episodes. She has interesting things to tell you about her home in northern Scotland, the "wee dram" of whisky she is tasting, knitting and other crafts, and life in general. Not too long, not too short. I highly recommend this one.
  • Rae1957
    Charming
Louise is so jolly I wish I lived next door to her. I love all things Scottish so this is my cup of tea!
  • Deborah Gudger
    Charming, lovely, FUN!
This is such a warm hearted podcast! Louise makes me feel like I'm a neighbor in the Highlands, just stopping in for a little chat and maybe a wee dram… Her stories make me smile and the Daisy giggle is just too wonderful. Love everything about this podcast.

    Relaxing and Down to Earth
Louise is a charming host who makes you feel like you're sitting down with a cup of tea and catching up on her latest knitting, crafts, outings and book reviews. A recent addition is her husband, Richard and "The Drams", reviewing Scotland's most famousx export - Scotch! Always thoughtful, humourous and informative while reflecting a down to earth perspective. Just lovely!

    Absoloutely lovely

    A very Scottish podcast
I learned of this podcast through Susan on Knit A Journey Podcast. I love listening to Louise. Her podcast is more than a knitting podcast even though she talks about knitting. She talks about her life in Scotland and other crafts. I enjoy listening to her stories and I love the Wee Dram review. Well done, Louise!

    Love love love!
I always look forward to an update from Louise! Podcasting from her corner of Scotland, she talks about knitting, spinning and crafting in general with lots of input from her two "bairns" and a hubby who knows his Scotch! It's a joy to listen! Lisa aka SaratogaKnitting!

I discovered this podcast a couple weeks ago and I have come to love Mrs. Hunt! I love to hear the parts her children play in the podcast and they melt my heart. So sweet! The things said in this podcast is really endearing and so honest. Check out her website and look at her pics- she does great crafty work too! A friend in Fort Wayne, Indiana USA

    What a podcast!!!
I love this podcast, because it is informative, funny, and to me very relaxing. My favorite parts (yes there's more than one) the Scottish segment and greetings/well wishes.
  • Kigeliakitten
    Wonderful podcast
Louise has such a lovely voice that I could listen to her all day long! I especially love the Daisey laugh. What is interesting about her podcast, is that she talks about other crafts besides knitting, as well as what is going on in her garden. She also has a Scottish segment where we get to learn a bit of Sottish history. She makes it quite interesting with her remarks upon what she is talking about.

    Knitting from Scotland
An interesting podcast about knitting and other crafts. Louise has a charming accent. Show is well edited and put together. I just love the segment titles by Sandy.
  • Knitting Pipeline
    Brilliant!
I love hearing about life in Caithness, Scotland, plus all the crafty bits. Louise has a great sense of humor and wit. Hearing her little boy introduce a segment always brings a smile as does "the Daisy Giggle". Seriously, who cannot smile when hearing a baby laugh? I always feel a little bit happier after listening to this podcast. Well done! Keep them coming.
