VoausBack on the roadI am so grateful that Car Stuff is back. I have missed Scott and Ben. Scott has done a great job as a solo podcaster. However, with this period when Ben was back in the driver’s seat, has been really great. Scott and Ben always had a great relationship, and it’s great to hear them working together again.

VTRSLScott and Ben!SO SO SO happy to have both hosts back! The jalope that Car Stuff had become in recent months is no more! Thank you so much
-
Vs quilterSo happy you’re backDiscovered a few weeks ago that they started releasing new episodes and was so happy to have new material to listen to. I’m not a car buff, a gear head, or a techie of any sort, and would never have guessed from the podcast title that there could be such a variety of topics I would find interesting. I particularly appreciate that the hosts don’t direct their discussions toward men. It’s a podcast anyone can listen to.
-
PassToMeUninspiringSomehow, these episodes have taken an interesting topic and made it lame. Wait, I know how: Repetitive dialog, lack of interesting details, weak story-telling and lack of direction. Test case: “Orphan Cars,” for one. There are others.
-
puppycheer16High level not always factualI love anything automotive related and these guys cover some neat topics...but...its obvious that they are not experts and it sounds as each episode is a mini research report. Id much prefer a host interview a live expert on each subject to get real details...not just high points and random details two guys thought were worthy of conveying. I’ve discovered errors along the way as well (V8s were not “done” from the 78-87 El Camino line-up...c’mon!) This seams like a common theme to all the “Stuff” podcasts series’ as well as many others unfortunatelly.

try55timesCar Stuff Bricklin SV 1My first episode of Car Stuff. It was going ok and then Lee Iacocca’s name was brought up in association with Malcolm Bricklin. Ok, this is a podcast about cars. Iacocca’s name is brought up and he is described as the guy that saved Chrysler. Really? The father of the Mustang is described as saving Chrysler not what he is most famous for ? I think I’m out.

HollywoodHuntIt’s back!!!!!!!I’m so glad this is back! I rarely listen to any of the other how stuff works podcasts, this was the staple of all your shows for me.

tpaps2Bring it backThis was one of the go to podcasts for me. Always something good here.

ntstock93300,000 mile carsJust change ALL the fluids regularly and the car will last. “Rust check”a car in snow areas.
-
ScgenevaMindless babblingGet to the point, stop endlessly chatting - very annoying. Lastly, these guys aren’t very knowledgeable about some mechanical aspects of automobiles.
-
Tomato tommyMinimal informationThese guys just repeat themselves, don’t really provide concrete information and statistics, most of what they say is common scenes for an average car guy, I listen on 2x speed and I still can take it. The titles sound interesting, but it literally takes them 45 minutes to give you 5 good minutes of information.
-
GalacticPirateThe sadnessLoved this podcast. So sad they stopped making new episodes. They have some great information shared by some real down to earth dudes. If you see a title that sounds interesting to you I’m sure you’ll love it.

AlbertppsBoringI don't like to express my opinion unless I have something positive to say, but this podcast is kind of boring. I listened to all episodes starting from 2016 and some of them were interesting and pretty good; they were good when the host didn't start rambling about useless stuff. They often go off-topic for a long time to the point where you even forget about what is the main point of the topic. Another thing is those laughs are way too annoying. They are either high off weed or are tickling each others while doing the podcast, because they seem to laugh about the most stupid unfunny stuff you can hear on earth.

Car Guy Josh BMy FAVORITE Show!I have been listening to CarStuff for over 7 years now, and it is still my favorite podcast! They do focus mainly on cars, trucks, and the like, but they also have episodes on planes, trains, boats, and even blimps, so there's a little bit for everyone! If you start from the beginning, I will admit (and so will they) that they had a bit of a rough start. Don't fret, though, as those early episodes aren’t THAT bad, and they figured it out pretty quickly. I hope some of the negative reviewers from early on gave them another try, because it got much better! The hosts have good chemistry and are fun to listen to, and they talk about some pretty interesting stuff. As an added bonus, they reply to email most of the time, are pretty active on social media, and seem like great guys. I would suggest the episodes on Honda, McLaren, Lotus, Smokey Yunick, the riveting two-parter on the Dale car, and the multi-episode story of Preston Tucker, as they are some of my favorites.
-
Scramblin_JimWellllllllThe hosts do draw out the conversation far too long and often go tangent to the topic. However they do bring new information to learn from if ya have the patience to endure the useless chatter.
-
MatcheteIf only the hosts liked carsSo nerdy and boring. It's like a contest to see how long you can talk about nothing and how many awkward fake laughs you can make.
-
TJCheckettsMore "sponsors" than contentI listened to one of their podcasts and they barely even talked about the topic. Between official sponsored content and taking about semi related products, that were pretty clearly still unofficial sponsored products, they actually spent more time talking about ads than actually talking about the topic. I was very sad since the topic was actually an interesting topic.
-
Scotty ApricotyGood podcast, solid banterLaid-back podcast with plenty of nerdy banter. These guys take their time on topics, and don't often get a whole lot done, but it's an easy listen and the guys have good chemistry. I'd recommend.
-
DleemoshVery impressedOff beat but good. I'm enjoying the random auto topics.
-
TNCaveNot for people who love carsI love cars. Old and new, internal combustion, electric, hybrid, history, I love it all. The hosts of this show obviously did not grow up with a passion for cars and mechanized things. As a brand, SYSK is pretty great...except for this one show. If you aren't a car person, this show might be fine. If you love cars and have good knowledge of automobiles and auto history, look elsewhere.
-
cupofsugarborrowedNot much content, but plenty of "words from sponsors"The episode on motorcycles was so short on content it was difficult to believe. 25 minutes in and we're on the third commercial break, yet the hosts haven't even made three solid points yet. Also, if they were just going to BS for the whole show, why not invite an actual motorcyclist to join them? This is not a 4-star podcast like the rating suggests.
-
ramjet44Car talk show.Rambles on like little ole ladies. When they finally get to the subject of the podcast they trip and stumble over one another. Am unsubscribing.
-
Rich.RagnoAdvertisementsThe Ads are ridiculously loud. Wow. I'm still annoyed about it.

mcsherry66Very eclectic and enjoyable subjectsI really enjoy Scott and Ben's podcast topics, and the format of information provided. Really loved the Road Rally ones, and was so excited to hear that they actually were able to participate in one. Thanks for sharing the experience! Hope you get to do a road trip visiting old-fashioned gas stations at some point. Super Producer Noel, as always, does a great job, too!

Daveyk01They are ReleventA number of casts apart, they talked about the liquid salt the northern states used eating brake lines away. We see this a lot locally and this is the only podcast that I listen to that covered this. As for their last podcast, I vote for Wind Windows and Bench seats! lol
