    Not what it once was
Nothing stays the same. When Mousetalgia came to an end, I knew I would miss my weekly podcast fix. Initially, I was happy to see it resurrected. Unfortunately, the original hosts are absent. The lone hold over is Jeff Baham. Jeff is a nice guy but the show is so much weaker with just him as a host. He’s not very articulate and states the same thing over and over again. He’s also so concerned with offending anyone that he drones on and on. A good example is the recent Father’s Day episode where he wished a happy Father’s Day to all the dads but then when on and on about how some people have trauma around the day and dad and he doesn’t mean to be hurtful. He always end sentences with “do you know what I mean?” Yes, Jeff, you’ve said it ten times. This show is a shadow of itself at this point and Baham is a chore to listen to. I’ve now unsubscribed.

    Great podcast!!
Jeff is always good to listen to with updates about Disneyland and super guests as well. Such a fun show. Thanks for coming back.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️ love Donna!

    Bias
First, BEST Disney Podcast ever and should be binged from the first episode. With that said… since Covid and the start of Disney+.. Jeff is extremely bias with Avengers and Star Wars. It’s just gotten hard to listen to someone dislike a lot of great movies Disney has released over the years, which he is right when he says Onward is no Toy Story, but that doesn’t mean everyone dislikes a movie. It gets annoying how Avengers and SW can do no wrong when they’re both so super-over-saturated. I just feel like the balance is off without someone *cough Kristen* calling out his opinions. In short, I feel like I’m being told what’s good and what’s not rather than a whole discussion of people who help me develop my own opinion. I will still listen to every episode. This is just my opinion.

Best way to get your weekly Disney Magic!
The commaderee between the adorable hosts makes you feel like you've been friends since grade school! Love these guys!

Used to be a podcast about Disneyland
Now it’s a podcast about events in Northern California and the Pac Northwest. The trip reports center on the Disney Family Museum or conventions in Seattle. The podcasts the deal with an aspect of Disneyland are occasional updates on the Haunted Mansion

    Kristen has been great.
The shows that Kristen have been on lately have been great! She sounds positive and has been a pleasure to listen to on the podcast. Thanks for the upbeat content for me to listen to while at work . Jeff you are always great and so full of useful information .

    Disney Nostalgia at its Best!
I had to come review and say that Kristen and Calla’s trip report this week was adorable and brought back fond memories of a mom/daughter trip that I took around that age. This podcast is a comfort listen for me, and it’s awesome knowing there are people out there that have the same love for Disney history and Disneyland as me. The topics are always unique, interesting, and full of insight from long-time Disney fans that are very down to earth. Thank you for adding magic into each week and keep up the amazing work Jeff!

    Love Mousetalgia!
Mousetalgia remains one of my favorite podcasts. The mix of Disney history, new Disney Magic and events, interviews, and honest opinions of real Disney fans is perfect. Mousetalgia has joined me on my runs for almost a decade now. So glad that Jeff continues the magic each week!

    I Love Mousetalgia!
So excited that you are back Jeff!! Thank you for your guest appearances Kristen! You are so funny, quick-witted, and not afraid to be honest, especially when it comes to Country Bears 😂! Jeff is the best! He is such a great person, talented, dedicated and humble. The podcast had me hooked from the beginning. Each episode digs into such fascinating nostalgic history of the classic Disneyland. When I listen to the show I’m either learning, laughing, or crying ..lol! Thank you so much Jeff for all the work you and the team do. Your honesty and approach to discussing current events is respectful and fair. Thanks again for making Monday’s great again!

Best Disneyland and all things Disney Podcast
I have listened to this podcast weekly (sometimes multiple shows a week) for 10 years. This is my favorite podcast! The information is well researched, the hosts are all smart and funny and they cover a wide selection of Disney interests (book reviews, trip reports, food critiques, vip tours, merchandise - both new and vintage, club 33, special events, Disney Family Museum, visiting all of the Disney parks over the world, behind the scenes, convention reports, movie & show reviews, tiny tinsel, interviews with imagineers, artists, disney legends, Mousetalgia therapy, reminding me to manage my expectations … I could go on and on. You guys covered it all!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you Mousetalgia for all of your hard work to make each episode so wonderful!

Thanks to Mousetalgia I’m the top Disney historian in the family, I’ve read so many wonderful books, and I’ve had a guaranteed pick me up in my podcast list every single week.

Absolutely the best most positive Disney Fans in the World

No matter how your heart is grieving…
This truly one of a kind podcast has come to an end after 14 years. Whether you love all things Disney or not, if you want to hear the finest example of amateur podcasting, this is it. The bar is very high. Given the extraordinary production values, it is a miracle the hosts kept it up for so long, but in doing so they developed a vast and devoted group of listeners. Although a portion of the old podcasts will not be useful because the information was time sensitive, a significant number are about Disney history and are evergreen. This listener will keep on believing and hopes my wish for them to return in a monthly format will come true. #carpekingdom

    Truly the best Disney Podcast...
Mousetalgia has such a great banter, they are very funny and very real and I'm truly sad it's going off the air. Each of the hosts have something wonderful to share: Becky's wry and genuinely helpful advice about traveling with kids, Dave's infectious laugh, Jeff's historical deep dives (and I mean deep) and Kristen's wonderful, wacky, musical joy. It's got all the things I wanted in a Disneyland podcast... Honesty, humor, helpful hints and HISTORY!! Look at me making cheesy alliterations like Kristen :) Started listening in 2019 and have also started listening to old episodes as well. Do yourself a big favor and listen to the old and new episodes if you love to learn about Disney and Disneyland. I wish you all the best! Thank you SO much!
  • GingerArroz
I’m sad that I found this podcast so late in its life!
I found Mousetalgia about 3 or 4 years ago and quickly became hooked. Between the Disneyland knowledge, Imagineering history, personal experiences and reviews, and camaraderie between the hosts, this has become one of my go-to Disney pods. I’m so sad they are ending, but I’m so thankful they are keeping their backlog of shows available for me to listen to. Thank you Kristen, Jeff, Becky, and Dave for the laughs, banter, history lessons, and all around awesome community. Hopefully there will be a reunion meet-up one day that I will get to join in with! I was totally planning on going to the “Anything can happen weekend” meet-up, but you know…‘Rona. Thank you all! Carpe Kingdom! -Lauren from the Bay Area

    Love love this podcast
These guys are so hilarious and sincere. It’s really nice to find a podcasts that mostly covers Disneyland since most just do WDW. they also do awesome interviews and provide Disney history lessons for us. I look forward to Sunday mornings just so I can laugh along with these guys especially during this difficult time in our history. Thanks for doing this for us!

The Gold Standard of Disneyland podcasts
I've been trying out a lot of Disneyland podcasts recently and Mousetalgia really holds up as the one to emulate. Great production and sound, knowledgeable hosts with diverse areas of Disneyland knowledge, and they keep it interesting throughout. Great work! And, I should add, it's not just a great Disneyland podcast. It's a great podcast. The four hosts work great together to make an engaging, fun conversation each week. [Edit: a couple years later. STILL so good. I started listening in 2017 but went back and have listened from Episode 1 to Episode 693. Well worth the time.]

    Huge huge huge fan!!
Without sounding dramatic, Mousetalgia has been the “escape from reality” I needed the last year. I’ve been listening to the show for a few years now and I love that it’s not just trip reviews (although I do love those) but includes history, incredibly interesting guests, and lots of really great commentary from the gang. I love listening every week. Thank you so much for all that you do!

    Best Disneyland Pod Available
They really know their stuff and are very easy to listen to. Their format is well structured and they fit a lot in without it feeling overwhelming. Keep it up!
  • MikDis2023
    Okay podcast
Elitist Disneyland fans that show borderline contempt towards Walt Disney World (ironic for hosts who claim they’re Disney fanatics). If you live and breathe only for Disneyland then you’ll love them but if you’re an open-minded Disney fan that sees the great qualities in every park, then the only thing this podcast offers you is the occasional Disney history-based episode or special guest. They complain a lot.
  • WDW1971:)
    Great job!!
Love this podcast!! The topics are amazing- and I can’t wait for the next one. Just for kicks, could you do a collaboration with Tom and Michelle from Hyperion Adventures? Or a deep dive of the original Disneyland (or World) opening day attractions? Again- love your podcast. Keep up the amazing work!!

    For How They Treated Me
Rating one star for how they treated me. There was a time when I enjoyed this show and (I’m embarrassed to admit now) admired the hosts. I learned the hard way that they didn’t deserve my attention and energy. Kindness counts— actual, real kindness. Not just the superficial pretense of it on the show, but behind the scenes with how you treat other human beings. Please don’t use people. The show is good, but unfortunately I can no longer listen to it the same way. I hope other listeners have a better experience; or better yet, I hope they find another fun Disney show more worthy of their listenership.

    This podcast is amazing
I have been listening for many years. I feel terrible I haven’t left a review until now. When I found this show I was in my early 20s and I didn’t know that there were other adults in the world that loved Disneyland or Disney as much or more as I did. I found it after I had given away some of my treasured Disney items (an adorable Ariel purse that I have never found since) because I thought I had to be something I wasn’t. I have listened to EVERY episode of this show and it feels like listening to friends have a conversation. I have tried to find other Disney podcasts that I enjoy, and I can say that none of them live up to Mousetalgia. One thing that really matters to me and I love is the female opinions and input on this show. There aren’t many Disney podcasts that have more than one female on it. Kristen and Becky are great (Dave and Jeff you are too), and it makes me sad when one of you are gone! I love that you guys give mothers perspectives especially, cause you guys just get it. I am also enjoying hearing Kristen Carr on the show and I think it would be AMAZING if all three of them could be on the show together as I truly respect and value their perspective. Thanks for being there for me through all these years! I really appreciate ALL of you at Mousetalgia.

    Becky is Back...
And just as big of a sourpuss as ever. It’s been clear for years she doesn’t enjoy being on the show, and at times, doesn’t even enjoy being at Disney unless she’s there to eat. It’s been so annoying for years on how much poor Cristen compliments Becky just to have Becky not reciprocate. It’s like the jr high nerdy girl trying to get the mean girl’s respect, but still never being invited to the party. I was hoping her hiatus would be permanent, but then returns and makes the episode political. Not caring about her fellow hosts and the work they’ve been doing while she was away. “I don’t care if I make people upset at the show, I have one foot out anyway.”
  • Verolly
    An hour worth of Disney
The four hosts of this podcast are so much fun to listen to. Each one brings a different element and their love for Disney is infectious. You will be entertained with interviews, history and current happenings. If you want to learn more about Disneyland and all the things that worked together to form this world that Walt built this is the podcast for you. I am adding on as I still love this podcast but I am getting tired of hearing Kristen go on every week about a different sjw topic. We get it you live in Seattle and are very progressive but please tone down or keep the preaching to a minimum. We all want Disney to do the right thing and love seeing new changes to reflect the ever changing world.

    A forever Mousetalgia fan!
I tried this podcast almost a year and a half ago before my upcoming trip to Disneyland. I'm so glad I gave it a try because a year and a half later I look forward to a new podcast episode every week! Becky, Dave, Jeff, and Kristen all are great hosts! They share a variety of content, interview so many people, provide reviews, and are overall entertaining and delightful. I'm now a forever Mousetalgia fan. #CarpeKingdom

    Relaxing, informative
This is the first review of a podcast that I have ever written! I am a Disney history and architectural design fan. While this podcast covers a lot of ground, including things I am not as interested in, somehow I become interested! Their voices and personalities become familiar as you listen. They sneak up on you. Next thing you know, you are downloading it every week.

    Great for any Disney lover!
They are funny, informative and take care to really ensure that the content they share is fun and interesting. I’ve been listening for over 6 years and can’t wait for Sunday evenings to get my weekly Mousetalgia!

Over a decade of Disneyland fun!
I found this podcast and have loved it from the start! They just celebrated their 600th episode, which that alone shows how great this podcast is! The show hosts have a fun time discussing Disney and Disneyland topics as well as interviewing Disney legends, imagineers, and other well known Disney people. If you want to learn more about Disneyland and it’s history and have fun doing it, this is the podcast for you!

    BEST. PODCAST. EVER.
I started listening to Mousetalgia years ago, when I was in search of some lighthearted content for my commute. It didn’t take long for Mousetalgia to become so much more than that to me! Hosts Dave, Becky, Kristen, and Jeff have created the most kind and friendly Disneyland community, and I am so proud to be a part of it. If you are looking for a fun, informative, positive, and witty Disneyland podcast, look no further than Mousetalgia! <3

For the true Disneylanders at heart ❤️
I have been a dedicated listener and fellow Mousetalgite for many many years and Jane thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I am sooo grateful for this podcast, it is informative, supportive and the closest thing to the nostalgic magic of Disneyland that I can get my ears on 😉600 episodes late and never a dull moment. The dynamics between the dynamic four brings different perspectives into a harmonious conversation that genuinely makes you feel like you’re one of the gang sitting around the virtual table. Highly recommended to every Disneyland Addict at heart ❤️ 🏰 Carpe Kingdom

    Best Disney Parks podcast
Disneyland is my favorite place in the world and unfortunately I can't go all the time. Luckily, this awesome podcast comes to the rescue every weekend! I look forward to every episode and have been listening for the last 4 years (holy smokes has it been that long). Always entertaining and full of great banter between the hosts.

Going to Disney with your new Best Friends
Mousestalgia brings you Dave, Becky, Kristen, and Jeff your new BFFs who know everything there is to know about Disneyland and are willing to share that knowledge with you. Their stories, contacts, personal experiences give you that special insight into Disney preps you for your next trip. And an added bonus... They are truly entertaining and pleasure to listen to. If you can only find time for one Disney podcast then this is the one that gives the best bang for your (figurative) buck.

    The best Disneyland podcast
I'm amazed at the dedication of the Moustalgia crew, having produced an episode a week faithfully since 1913. (Fortunately you don't have to have a telegraph line to receive it anymore.) The hosts are extremely knowledgeable, varied in personality, have excellent production values and artistic sense, and are obviously dedicated to making a consistently great show.

    Bright spot in the week
I always look forward to a new episode of the show to appear in my feed. It is a little break from the stress of daily life. Thank you for keeping me connected to Disney when I can’t be there!

episode 601 Summer sitting and Pins
This is my first review on itunes. I often turn to these podcasts especially right when i get off work or prepare for a trip with the family for Dapper Day trips. Today i was listening and I heard some of the similar news with a bit more lengthing of time. It turned out we may be indoors all summer long and all i could think is what are we going to to do without summer vacations. Well lucky for us Mousetalgia comes to the rescue. They offered some great pins today for the first 10 to submit on this episode. Christin ofcourse brought to the table one of the best pins ever but was quickly shot down to a smaller level pin. These are just some of the reasons i love this podcast. She always comes all out and dave often tones it all down. Great banter and great conversations. Anyhow this is a little bit of magic that helps me get through my days, especially now with the parks being closed and no plans in sight for a bit. I'm still hoping dapper november goes down. I guess we will wait and see. In the mean time please keep the great ideas and discussions coming Dapper dad . Please please please send any pin to 3014 w. country ranch dr. tucson , az 85742. ha ha hope to see something from you guys in the mail.. you guys are the best.

    Best podcast out there!
I grew up loving Disney and Disneyland and just found Moustalgia last November. I have been listening ever since and only have 70 episodes to catch up with all 600 episodes they have put out. This podcast makes you feel kind you are sitting around the table with a group of your best friends talking Disney! It helps with my Disneyland withdrawal since I don’t make it out there as often as I like. If you love Disneyland and Disney this is your podcast!

Wild for the Wildest Podcast in the Wildnerness
I came across Doom Buggies and listened to ALL the episodes because I love Haunted Mansion. Jeff was always mentioning Mousetalgia, so I decided to check it out. I listen to it while I’m at work and it really brightens my day, especially with all that’s going on in the world. It feels like I’m spending time with four friends. Thank you for providing positive, informative content and keeping the magic alive. Sincerely, Kadie Coverstone, your #1 Portland fan
