I love this show for its entertainment value, approachable-ness (sp?), and the insights to common woodworking conundrums that even I, a fledgling woodworker, experience frequently. Awesome show all-around and I pray every night that Marc, Shannon, and Matt never quit.

I’ll be honest: I had bypassed this podcast for a while, because of the sponsor. Which makes me a horrible snob, but so be it. Then I noticed that Shannon was one of the hosts. Shannon has become a favorite YouTube host, because my interest is mainly hand-tool woodworking, and I’ve learned a great deal from his teaching. I clicked on my first episode, and I’m hooked (currently on my fourth or fifth ep. in a row). I still can’t quite tell (yet)who is talking when (I’ll get there), but it’s all worthwhile, and the banter is (so far) an added treat. Keep up the good work; I’ll be listening!

I’ve been listening to the newer stuff since episode 400. I started listening to the backlog a couple years ago and I’m just now getting to episode 200. From the beginning until now, this show has been like a fine wine in a cheap bottle, better with age and still free. Thank you for being my SawStop in a world of Ryobis…

These guys are the absolute best! Not only are they informative, they really know their stuff, but they are hilarious and entertaining. The inside jokes going back to 2006 are priceless. Even though I am no where near their level, they make you feel like just one of the gang. Thank you Marc, Matt, Matt, and Shannon for everything you do in this space.

I love this show!! I follow them on Instagram, the offer a lot of great information but I enjoy the laughs more. I’m not a great woodworker, but I fill like I don’t have to be to love this show. Even if you knitted I would listen to the show, probably start another hobby.

I’m sure you’ve heard this but with all of you guys combined woodworking knowledge you should start a podcast devoted to the subject. In the interim I will enjoy your information on creating a YouTube channel and putting up with haters.

I’ve listened to every episode twice. It was fun to go back through the episodes because I had not realized how much information I had absorbed - but in many cases missed - from my first pass. In addition to answers to listener questions and specially themed shows, I enjoy the discussion about content creation and the lively, funny, and sometimes very thought provoking conversations. Have been trying this podcast out for a while now, started today’s episode and one of the hosts was berating a listener who gave feedback about lack of woodworking content. His response and attitude if you “don’t like it, don’t listen” to a listener was incredibly rude. So, I don’t like that attitude, therefore I won’t listen. Pity. Show isn’t half bad, but rude host made me unfollow and leave a negative review. Why not try being a little less rude next time?

Just finished binge listening to all 540 episodes! Each one awesome, filled with laughs and helpful information. Keep it up.

Woodtalk is an entertaining podcast that you can listen to in order to learn a few tips each episode, without being bored into submission like, watching a how to video. It mostly consists of light hearted banter between 3 guys that have rather different woodworking styles and skill sets that together give enough information to help you decide their own direction in woodworking.

Great balance of conversation and woodworking information. I love the laid back structure because I can easily play it in the background and still pick up tidbits of advice.

The only woodworking podcast I can listen to. Really great guys, thank you. I’ve been in the custom side for around 20yrs and still enjoying listening them. Admittedly I skip an episode or skip through a segment now and then... but overall they do well together.

If you are a woodworker and want to learn and expand then these three guys can help. Great information from three respected fellow woodworkers.

I listen to the guys in my car on the way to work or home. Always learn from them.

I listened to about a year’s worth of shows before I went back and started at the beginning. Over the last year, I can say I have received a reasonably formal education from these 4 guys who are all amazing woodworkers. My projects are better start to finish. Thanks Guys.

You will not find better information on woodworking presented in a more entertaining way than WoodTalk. Sure, there are other great people in the industry passing on their knowledge in the same format. Sorry, they are all really dry after listening to this. If your new, they don’t do many shows anymore. However, the archive is full of fantastic episodes. Listen to them all!

Marc, Matt, Matt, and Shannon gave woodworkers many years of entertainment with a touch of insight. Known by many to be an addition to morning and evening commutes, these woodworkers will be missed. With this ending, there will be a new beginning. I will begin listening from episode 1 to stay off the stench of this death of a podcast. No other podcast can capture the attention of its listeners like these guys did. We have seen their families grow and dogs come and go. Thank you gentlemen. Thank you for all your talent you shared with us. Feels like I’m losing a friend!
