Founded and established by dj philE in 2007 the DHCat is the source for trendsetting and opinionleading deep house djs with a huge fanbase from all over the world. DHCat is a free house music podcast/radio show, presenting numerous genres ranging from nu disco, deep, soulful and funky house to tech house, while focussing on new releases and promos.Since 2012 Alex B. Groove from Germany is the executive producer and creator of the Deep House Cat Show. The Deep House Cat Show produces exclusive sets for radio stations like SSRadio (UK), House FM (Japan), GABZ FM 96.2 (Botswana) or Planet Radio (Germany) and also can be heard all over the world on stations like Chicago House Radio (U.S.), Housebox (Lithuania), Tonic FM (France), audiogrooves (Brazil), Straight Up (Australia), Dancevoort FM (Netherlands), Fuzion Radio (UK) and many more FM/AM and online stations.

    I’ve been listening to this podcast for quite some time and now all of a sudden I’m hearing commercials…when did that happen? Super annoying right in the middle of a continuous mix. I would easily give this pod a 5 star if it wasn’t for that.

    Listening since 2007. Can’t go to clubs anymore, so I turn this on and dance. It makes me happier. I have a lot of music podcasts but the Cat is consistently excellent! My favorite. Been listening for over ten years. Today’s Moon Landing Mix was magnificent!

    same thing happened to my downloads... i re-subscribed and it entered another Deep house cat icon on my iTunes that got the recent episodes... something changed on the DHC end

    Its of course better than a singular star, but the last episode I can download is February 8, 2019. I've unsubbed and re-subbed, but to no avail. I don't have this issue with any other podcasts.

    This is by far the best deep house podcast available. Very groovy and cool, unpretentious. I havent been able to listen to it for a couple of weeks. Panic is setting in, workouts aren't the same, happiness is gone. Please come back!

    I have to say, this podcast is spectacular. There is little to no "fluff", only the 10 second intro to the podcast and for their guest. It's consistently all about the music and has not changed for the past few years. While the music selections can certainly vary from one end of deep house, to more of funky jazz or even a industrial dub-step, the guests are consistently talented regardless of what they are playing. I cannot begin to tell you how many cool and unique songs I have discovered, shared with friends or in some cases only played it alone and made it my special "me moment" song (yes, I dance to it too). Thank you!

    Lots of mixing at the wrong times: melodies and baselines in different keys over one another and mixing vocals over each other= bad taste. I hate to write reviews like this and I hope it helps whomever mixes in this podcast.

    The days that the deep house cat podcasts come in I jump for joy. Literally. Jump rope and everything. the Deep House Cat Show has been the reason why my workouts at the gym are killer! Deep house is just so invigorating. Although not all the mixes are 100% deep house, it is really great beats and music.
