I’ve listened to this podcast during my morning commute for over 5 years now, and in various stages of life! It’s truly wonderful no matter what life-stage you’re in — there’s something to glean from every episode and each guest!

This podcast is amazing and so encouraging. Dave and Ann Wilson are so fun, relatable, and humble in sharing their own stories. This podcast has introduced me to so many great Christian books, artists and speakers. It inspires me to keep following Jesus in every season of life and has given me great advice in parenting. Thank you for such a life giving show!!

God is amazing! I am regularly blessed by the perspectives and life journeys of the guests and the hosts. Life is so messy. This podcast is also messy. An episode can be a deep dive into someone’s pain and anguish, or it can be a hysterical episode with lots of joking. Whatever the episode, I am regularly impacted and my journey with God has been blessed by the truths discussed here. God is amazing!

Years ago, God used Dave and Wilson to really encourage my husband and I during a very difficult time in our marriage. I found their online YouTube videos that had three sessions with one of their marriage seminars. I watch them and then send them to my husband to watch them. And then I heard them talk about a book from Tim Keller, the meaning of marriage. I bought two copies of my husband and I read them together… And slowly conversation started to happen that needed to happen and we started talking more and then laughing more and dating more. God really use them and ministry to foster conversations that I did not always know how to start. When I listen to this podcast, I am encouraged, challenged, and I have gotten so many great resources from their guest!

This podcast 🫶 😍 I lack the words to even describe how amazing it is, and the impact it has had on me. I want to have dinner with these two. I want to know about them and learn more from them. At times, I listen with regret sometimes on how many opportunities I have missed with my own kids and spouse, but the regret is soon replaced with hope. I cannot get the years back that I wasted, but I can begin n the present. I do not cry often, but I got extremely emotional listening to the interview with the ESPN anchor who prayed on national television, hearing Anne’s story about the friend saying she was ugly, (which she is beautiful), and most recently their interview with their son. I want to be that parent who empowers my children. I truly wish I could adequately explain my feelings that I have for this podcast, it is a blessing

I started listening to FamilyLife Today® two years ago when life fell off the rails parenting teens. I’ve grown up in the church, went to Christian College and have served and led ministries my entire adult life. But it isn’t until you experience, true gut-wrenching trials, and hardship that brings you to a place of complete surrender that you realize there’s nothing you can do but trust in God. I need daily reminders and constant encouragement to help me. This is my favorite podcast and I don’t miss an episode ever. The variety of people on the show and the perspective they bring to living out the gospel truth has been a balm to my soul. David and Anne are people I would love to sit and have a cup of coffee with, and I truly love the honest and raw approach they have to life. My walk with the Lord has never been so real as it is now and I am thankful for the ministries like this one that keep me encouraged and convict and motivate me to be more like Christ. Thank you.

My favorite podcast. I recommend it to young families frequently. Covers a myriad of family related topics in a personal and doctrinally sound manner. They are transparent, humble and confident in their Christian faith, and they are excellent talk show hosts.

I spontaneously purchased a Weekend to Remember couples retreat in Scottsdale, AZ in June 2023. I thought it was going to be tough to get my hubby on board, but he went with very little effort, which was a great start. Fast forward a few weeks… we are now listening to this podcast, going to church and beginning our journey with putting Christ first in our marriage. We are excited to change our way for positivity. This was so needed and these podcasts are so fun and helpful to listen to, so thank you!

They’re not trying to look perfect they just show me how to live life in an authentic way without pretense, without the stress and pressure. I was disappointed in the guest you had on for Purity culture. When he spoke about the trans gender person in his sons class and then taught his son to not accept what this person is asking to be called. In his next breath he talks about loving people. How do we “love” people but ignore what they ask. We cannot expect non believers to have the same belief set as us. How are we going to win anyone for Christ? He also was very cringe in the way he spoke about sex with his children by saying kissing is wife “was how his son got there” This guest did not out grow what he was taught in the 90s. This episode is just the same rhetoric in disguise. Family Life you usually have better content and I think read a bit dealer before having book authors on. This person is dangerous in his thinking.

I can’t thank you enough for having a REAL conversation about this sensitive topic. I’ve been searching for guidance for two years from my church, Christian radio, Bible study, friends and family - there is so much more to this than just right or wrong.

I have a 50 min. drive to work in the mornings and I start with Dave and Ann’s message for the day. It gets me focused on what’s important and I share some of these with my adult children. The topics and guest speakers are so good! You feel like you are right there at the table with all of them in conversation. I am grateful for Family Life! Dave and Ann’s vulnerability, honesty, and life experience always provide a framework of acceptance and humility with unapologetic biblical truth. It has been a blessing to my life on a very personal level in my daily walk. Sometimes the topic being an immediate battle in my own home, doses of self-awareness to my short sidedness, where the Holy Spirit has led me to conviction, repentance and faith more abundant on the other side. I read a few Bible plans by FamilyLife in the YouVersion Bible app. Their content stood out to me so I was thrilled to find this podcast and their other resources. I’m a mom with elementary aged kids and these episodes give me so much encouragement as well as practice, biblical advice for my life, marriage and kids. THANK YOU!! :)

Wednesday’s episode with Kevin Young on Women and Men in the church was, well, refreshing and a gift. The conversation that The Wilson’s had at the end of the podcast was so real and personal and I needed that today. I pray other couples hear this today and let it bless their life like it has mine.

As a wife and mom this podcast is often hitting on exactly what’s on my heart. The episodes are short enough (~25min) I can easily fit them into my day in the car, on a walk, etc.. I have listened to this podcast for a few years now, maybe not regularly, but I will come back to it again and again depending on the topic or guest. I’ve always been blessed by the combination of faithfulness to the Christian walk while remaining honest about the issues that plague all marriages, sincerely holding up the Gospel as the remedy and Jesus as the Balm for these issues. Since the new hosts have taken over, I’ve only grown to love the show more! I really enjoyed so many of the recent episodes, and when my all time FAVORITE comedian (Michael Jr) whom I will stop EVERYTHING to listen to was on last week TWICE, that was just icing on the Victoria sponge cake!!!
