I’ve been so down about the state of our country and the Christian community. Your sermons give me hope.

Ben brings hope, faithfulness, and love as he invites each of us to journey into the gray with him. An opportunity to lean into questions and wonder within our faith. Ben thank you for your shared commitment to loving others the way Christ lived and taught.

So grateful for Benjamin Cremer’s voice during this chaotic time in our country and world. He continues to bring me back to a hopeful posture centered on Christ week after week. I’m so appreciative of his willingness to stand up in the face of Christian Nationalism and provide resources that truly reflect Jesus’ teachings.

It’s been very challenging, navigating the past few years, when many of my Christian friends, and the former churches that I attended have embraced a gospel that I don’t recognize, and seem to empower mean spiritedness and control rather than light and life. Finding this podcast has been a real Godsend! Very encouraging in these tumultuous and challenging times. I’m very grateful for these teachings – especially since I’m not attending church at this time.

Thank you for the passion in which you shared this message. My heart has been so heavy lately as I continue to see the turmoil in our country today. We as Americans have forgotten how to listen to one another and realize that we do have more in common than what divides us. I cling to God’s hope from the moment I wake and look for the joy that is often hiding in plain sight and I will continue to raise my voice and work for the marginalized. I want to always be the hands and feet of Jesus. Thanks again for sharing this message.

I looks forward to these messages every week. It is so easy to become discouraged in such unprecedented times, but these messages help to ground and encourage those on their walk. Thank you for what you do!

If you’ve found the last decade hard to stomach, or maybe you are just waking up to wonder if we’ve lost the plot, and you find yourself pondering how the church you grew up in could sell itself and humanity out for power/money/privilege, and if that’s caused you to question everything you’ve believed, then we have a lot in common. I’m continuing to wrestle, and in the mean time I’m listening to voices like Rev. Ben Cremer who points us back to the heart of Jesus, the true gospel, and helps us understand the Bible from a different perspective…maybe the one you might remember from your youth, at least the “Jesus loves the little children of the world” part and maybe not the prosperity gospel part or purity culture part. There are lots of great resources out there, I highly recommend the BEMA podcast too. But when your pastor isn’t quite striking the right tone and you are finding it hard to attend a church where people confidently where MAGA hats, you might find that Ben is the pastor you need right now. Is Ben political? Only if it’s political to speak truth to the problems of Christian Nationalism.

Your sermons and your newsletters have been an invaluable waypoint for me in these crazy and disorienting times. Your message is consistent with the teachings of Jesus, which is what we’re all meant to follow as Christians. It’s been vital to me to be reminded of his actual words and deeds when we’re constantly barraged with false testimony and blasphemous uses of the Bible.

I‘ve loved every sermon/episode! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to follow and understand Jesus. Pastor Ben has so much good teaching to offer.

Being someone who grew up in a more conservative theological environment (going to a Christian school for middle and high school), I appreciate Rev. Ben Cremer’s thoughtful unpacking of scripture. I am now attending a moderate/progressive Baptist theological seminary where I am getting to dive deeper, realizing that what I once thought was so black and white is often grey. Thank you Rev. As a spiritual person who has never been able to connect with religious dogma, but enjoys a meaningful sermon, I find this podcast perfect. I have been following Benjamin on Instagram for some time now and I look forward to continuing to make this my Sunday morning practice. His messages encourage us to try to see the deeper meaning in scripture and use that in our daily lives. I love his prayers at the end as we approach a new week. May his seeds continue to spread and grow through all of us who listen.

I've been following Pastor Cremer on Twitter/X for quite a while so when I found out about the new podcast, I was very excited. With everything going on in America right now, we meed more pastors lime him speaking out about and against Christian Nationalism.

Thought provoking and affirming at the same time. Ben offers us alternative views which both supports what we already know and expands our understanding to integrate more. Very well organized and presented. Thank you.

Ben has words to challenge us all. He not only calls us to more but lives into seeking more. May his ministry walk us into the healing space we often call "unknown".

I started following Rev Cremer on Twitter because of his positive messages. I find it so uplifting and inspiring. This first podcast also delivers positive messaging. I found it inspiring. What I would find most helpful is to provide examples of how we might incorporate the messages in our daily life, specific acts, on how we might be change makers for our benefit and for those we come in contact with, whether family, friends, colleagues or strangers. Thank you!

I am have been following Benjamin for awhile. He has a very interesting perspective on bringing out the Bible more clearly, and helping us see things that are not black and white. I appreciate this podcast and support his newsletter 100%. It is a great way to ponder and invite more people to be aware of how they treat people who may have different political views, religious beliefs and values.
