    80s Nostalgia for the Win!
I have become a recent listening of the Children of the 80s podcast with Jim and Lisa. They do such a great job of allowing you to join them on a conversation about fun times from our youth. I particularly enjoyed the episodes on the greatest baseball movies of the 80s and the episode on “We Are The World”. I also particularly enjoy Jim’s encyclopedic knowledge of the music charts from the 80s. Keep up the good work! Jason Surely You Can’t Be Serious Podcast

    What a fun show!
Most memorable TV theme songs: Family Ties and Growing Pains. And Sit Ubu Sit, Good Dog after Family Ties. Most jealous of: The train through the house on Silver Spoons and The Goonies adventure. School memories: Scholastic Book Fair and square pizza with mystery meat topping (always served with corn). Just generally the freedom of playing outside without cell phones. Of going to the mall with my older sister and just being “out” without anyone calling/texting you. Getting to have a friend over on Friday night and going to Blockbuster to pick out a video! Yes, they made us square dance but I have suppressed that memory and pretend it was like Footloose instead. Crushes: Sean Astin playing Mikey in The Goonies and Ralph Macchio (Daniel Son aka Karate Kid). Older sister’s crushes: Tom Cruise (the volleyball scene!). Classically ‘80s synth personal favorites that still to this day have me ready to stop drop and roll at any given moment: 1. Take on Me 2. Everybody Wants to Rule The World 3. I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight 4. Africa 5. Jump AH! Just so much goodness and nostalgia. Back when Fifty Thou a year would buy a lot of beer and the future was so bright we all had to wear shades. Can’t wait to hear more!
