im real 84747$;-)(=)&))&AlmostI like these guys, but the constant lip smacking and teeth sucking makes listening to the podcast impossible. Tim Connor’s YouTube channel is the way to go.

kentuckypipwGreat podcastVery informative and also entertaining. Love that the liberal tears flow when they dip into politics.
-
DrewJen86Josh and Tim FiresideThe guys execute the audio quality well, especially for the space it’s recorded in. Show is a simple format, can be educational or sometimes just chewing the fat on archery, hunting, or other topical subjects. Well done gents, appreciate ya!
-

Little JrabFavorite Podcast to listen toReally enjoy listening to you guys down here in south GA, y’all are like the ying and yang for each other. Yall keep us laughing and teach us so much. Josh’s crazy personality fits with Tim’s soft spoken and calm personality perfect! Could yall discuss the importance and dig deep into stabilizers in a pod. Good luck hunting this year and stay safe and shoot straight brothers!

Cooper WilkinsScrew the Karen!!Stumbled across you guys about a week ago on YouTube. Every day for the past 5 days I’ve played nothing but your videos in the background and I’ve learned a lot about various topics in the archery world. I’ve known about MFJJ for a couple of years now and he’s shown me a lot about working on bows and I was able to kinda start me up a little side gig in central Alabama called Archery Affection. So far it’s been a success. Thanks MFJJ for the knowledge!

Benfica 5785Thanks for all you guys doAnother NY’er that caught to archery bug during Covid. I can’t get enough of archery content. Tried most of the things I do in archery from watching MFJJ. Tim your great at keeping it going. Cool to see how deep your getting in to the archery world.

Colbym1Wealth of knowledge and laidback infoReally appreciate MFJJ for trying to keep the archery world informed and Tim there to help facilitate. The guys make a good team and have a low key fun way to get info into the world. Love listening to the pod during the week and catching a lot of MFJJs reviews. And for Tim, GO BULLDOGS!

elkman elkmanEgoI’ve tried listening for a while, but Josh’s ego is just too big and I can’t do it. He’s never been wrong about anything before and his own mind school, but way too much MFJJ ego

The CoolahHonest feedbackNumber 1 - MFJJ… you are the sole reason I suffer through listening to Tim the bumbling slug ramble on about his dietary revelations (spoiler alert- eat more cleaner=feel more better) and keep trying to draw correlations to his awful golf channel/experience.. I am also an avid golfer but don’t have a YouTube channel because I am honest with myself in accepting that I don’t have the personality for it or any truly net-new valuable insight… Now I get it, this dynamic is MFJJ the savant expert (which I believe) paired with a dunce in the thick of learning. It’s a smart model that has had me engaged since your first podcasts. It’s really unearthed a lot of great content that hit little intersections of brilliance that would resonate with a wide spectrum of folks of different experience levels. Expert stuff flies over 99% of folks heads and 101 stuff is boring for 99% of folks (I’m intentionally exaggerating)… BUT if you take a highly highly highly experienced and talented savant and pair him with the sniveling squirming village idiot… all you have to do is talk about the craft and a ton of value pops up in unexpected places for the vast majority of listeners. I love it. Now the one issue I want to address can be summed up in “know your place”. Tim, in this dynamic you have to have thick skin and try not to expect more than the good lord dealt you in life. Just because you have graduated from rolling like a wounded snail over glass shards to a hobbled slug commando inching over rock salt, it doesn’t mean any listeners are looking to you for anything more than being the village idiot. Stop trying too hard, lean into your lot in life and let MFJJ work his wizardry. Number two - MFJJ, part of the reason I have immense respect for you and enjoy your content is your dedication to be grounded in data, tethered to the scientific method. I propose a simple test for you to run. When you have conversations with various folks in your life, be very attentive to their demeanor and non-verbal cues when you tell them how busy you are. Do it with half, then with the other half don’t bring it up. I tell you this from experience, nobody really cares and you are sacrificing opportunity for actual stimulating conversation with another human being. My hypothesis is that you will look back on both sets of convos and have a profound epiphany. Please stop spending 10%-20% of your podcasts telling us how you are busy. I can appreciate your “full plate” but perception is reality for those suffering from this human condition and most people have perceived full plates and don’t give a rats fanny about you explaining yours over and over and over. I give this feedback from an honest and loving place. I hope it is well received (if you even read this far)… I am N of 1 and I don’t expect you to cater to N of 1 but I genuinely believe these are easily avoidable cringes that are curbing your potential. You asked for reviews… much like some bow manufacturers have asked you for. I ask you the same question you ask them when they are initially upset by your feedback… did I lie? Is any of this feedback completely fabricated and not based in truth? Love you guys! I hope you grow into the compelling disciples for us that I know you have the potential to be. Our little niche depends on you and people like you, so if I sound disgruntled its because you got me caring by flashing your massive potential early on. Rather than write this, it would have been a lot easier for me to just pop on another podcast and keep it moving. King Jay Kongren

Miller HancockTim X MFJJBest part of my day is commute to work listening to you guys talk bow hunting and bow lifestyle. It’s a great escape for me before a long work day! Love you guys!!
-
anniw thw greatReal people who love the sportKeep up the great work of entertaining stories and information to help empower archers everywhere!
-
mister_dmacNice!Really enjoying, guys! I always put a lot of stock into Josh’s take on arrow spine. Was wondering if we could get a little bit deeper discussion on the idea that “Mathews bows prefer a weaker spine.” You’ve definitely mentioned before how it’s just easier for shops to get people out the door in many cases with a weaker arrow. But specific to Matthews, with a handful of their marketing people mentioning it… could be informational for those of us shooting them who are teetering between spines. Cheers

SCBOWHUNTRBEST PODCASTI appreciate what y’all do for the archery/hunting community! Keep up the great content fellas 🔥🏹
-
Scribbly1Great listen with TONS of useful informationThe candid and authentic conversation is great and on top of that the shared knowledge and technical information is immense! Only complaint and it could be a ME thing, is the snacks… chewing and swallowing is not my favorite thing to listen to but I know that os a thing for me and not most.
-
tub2121Every week!I look forward to you guys every week!! Truly love hearing what your thoughts and ideas are and have learned a ton for your YouTube channels! I wonder what your thoughts are on the durability of each brands 5mm arrows……

Tom 10581Not a KarenI’ve been enjoying the podcast as I am big fans of both of you. I love the technical archery talk, as well as the tidbits of information I can pick up from Josh regarding large footwear as I wear a size 15 lol. Keep up the good work!

Raff367What are you drinking ?I normally watch the show on YouTube, but I also listen to podcasts when I go to lunch, so today I went for the podcast version. I have to say that if I didn’t watch the show on YouTube I wouldn’t have no idea of what was going on in the first couple of minutes. Maybe you should explain for your “audio only” viewers or edit it out (and you were going so fast that I could hear what you were drinking today. I only got something at Costco :) Anyway, keep up with the good work. Always interesting and entertaining (and I really enjoyed the one with your daughter, even if it brought up “things” that are currently going on with my daughter. But, I thought she started the whole thing to explain why she doesn’t do archery and never got there, so you’ll have to have her again).

Tom HeinonenTake Down KarenThank you for the weekly uploads Josh and Tim! You guys are very informative and entertaining all in one. Keep up the great work and pay no mind to the Karen’s of the world!!

Meat Junkey - Nate GabrielKeep up the diversity and randomness of topicsThanks for the great pod every week. I consume many hours of podcasts on a weekly basis and I love the organic nature of your chats. I am new to archery, western hunting and I love hearing the archery content as well as the random thoughts and your lives. Please don’t listen to the haters/ Karens. Like you said “change the channel” if this weeks topics aren’t for you. To the Karens, just give it listen, you might learn something.
