I just can’t stand the misandry

    Love this podcast!
I just recently discovered this podcast and I love it! The length is perfect and don’t edit it. Your insights are wonderful and enlightening. I am delaying watching the last 2 episodes because I just don’t want it to end. I plan to go back and rewatch from the beginning. I would love to see these pros cover the show from the beginning so I can follow along. BTW- if you ever noticed the square red glass ashtrays shown in Joel’s bar, well, I sold those to production! The fact that a little bit of me is included in the best series ever created is amazing!

    Please continue
Love the show, especially all of your insights. Love the listener feedback and how you incorporate some into the body of the episode review and share the rest at the end. I appreciate the episode notes that let people plan whether to listen to all of it (as I do) or the parts that interest them. Unless I am missing something, it seems you have only covered the final season. If that is the case, please start from Season 1 and go episode by episode. My least favorite of this podcast was the first where you combined episodes 1-3, which were all released at once. It was a bit confusing. So many people are just starting to watch TMMM, and you have the opportunity to be THE place to go for people who are need to go beyond the episode and relive it with fun friends.

    Love it!
If you're a fan of "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" you will love this podcast. The hosts are fun and will entertain you for hours. They really care about their listeners and take the time to read our FB comments, emails and if you leave them a voice mail they will play it on the air. How fun is that?! I'll tell you, great fun!

Like Deep-dives? This pod is for you!
When I first came across this pod and saw it’s length I was like: “Wait? WHO in the hall could talk about — and who possibly could LISTEN to a pod episode that lasts three times the length of the actual tv episode??” Well, put me on that list. This podcast delves deep into all the beautifully curated details (visual and story telling) and the Easter eggs that the writers and creative teams gave us. Hoping for a “rewatch-pod” starting back at the very beginning. 🤞🏽

    Rewatch Date Discussion
Any idea when we should start planning on rewatching! So excited that we get to relive MMM through new eyes as well as others perspectives. Can’t wait!

    Love love love
I love the length. I found this late but enjoyed every syllable. A one hour show that is jammed with as much dialogue, cinematography, style, history, background scenes, callbacks and Easter eggs requires many many hours of discussion. Thank you and good night!

    Marvelous!!
Love the banter and insight. And the listener feedback! Found you after the last episode. Have gone back to listen to episodes in this season and enhanced my understanding of the series. Thank you!❤️❤️❤️

Great podcast for a great show!
Love the takes, insights, rapport, and laughs. If you love TMMM, you’ll love this!

    Love it all!!
Don’t change a thing!! I love the length of the podcasts AND you talking over each other!! It is like being a part of friends around a table loving what you love!!

    Unpolished but Insightful
This podcast does a great job dissecting the episodes and provides insight to the Palidinos’ shows. As the podcasters move forward into other tv series, please hire a heavy handed editor to smooth out the parts when you all talk over eachother and cut back on the unnecessary tangents.

    Tooooo loooooooong
I think you ladies have great takes and the professionalism of the podcast has improved a lot but the decision to read every single reader comment is absolutely unhinged. There is literally no reason to read 300 comments that say absolutely nothing interesting. Stop doing that and it will solve the problem of the length as well. Do you know any other successful podcast that reads every single reader comment they get? Do you get paid by the hour?

    Late to the podcast
First time, short time of the podcast. Big fan of TMMM and so glad I found this podcast. You ladies do a great job reviewing the show. 3.6 was such a great episode that it had me manly crying several times. It will be sad to see this show come to an end and I am e curious how they wrap it all up. We need another appearance of Luke Kirby and I jus know it will be a three-Kleenex scene. I can’t remember which of yo brought up about Midge being sick I think is spot on. Keep up the great work.

    Friends who feel you
I absolutely love that I was led to your podcast by the gaslight café Facebook group. I watch the show with my husband who is basically Abe and wouldn’t see any reason why we would discuss a show after we watched it. I can literally hear Abe’s voice coming out of my husband’s face saying “There is no reason to discuss it, it doesn’t matter what you think. It’s just a show. Thank you for sharing your friendship!! I think I will miss you just as much as I will miss MMM when they say goodbye in just a few short weeks.

    Enhances watching the show!
It has been so great to hear you all talk about the show in such great detail. Definitely makes me want to go back and rewatch so many details that you all caught. Thanks for offering your thoughts to the world. And I love hearing your passion for theater. It is fun to nerd out on all the moments vicariously through you.

    Love your podcast!
Great to hear you guys talk about this awesome show. I came to this show after listening to Murder Magnets. I enjoy Jade’s acting insights as well as the perspectives of the other hosts. I’m looking forward to hearing you guys talk about OMitB. I love that show as well. Suggestion: I would love to hear you ladies cover Ted Lasso. It’s such an amazingly well-written and superbly-acted show. I listen to several podcasts about it but I think you might have some unique perspectives on it. I appreciate the length of your podcasts and I love your friendly banter so keep it up!

    In-depth and Engaging!
I have been having so much fun listening to this podcast! The hosts pick up on so many tiny breadcrumbs and nuances that I don’t catch. This is a well researched and organized podcast that leaves me wanting more!

    Wonderful Enhancement
Thanks for enhancing the show with this podcast. It’s especially enlightening that you are in the business.

    Loving this podcast!
This podcast is fantastic! My 19 year-old son turned me onto it a week or two ago and I am HOOKED! I love the freedom they have to discuss all of the details and then the tangents that they go into are so much fun as well. This is a rare treat of a podcast where I feel like I’m having a girl chat with my besties about one of my favorite shows. Pure delight!!
  • Tragel
    Way too long
I agree with a previous reviewer that this podcast is entirely too long and needs to be edited. There is no reason the podcast should be three times longer than the actual episode. After an hour, I was done and couldn’t listen any longer. Ladies, this is why you have such a low number of listeners.

Finally a nice long podcast for the show!
I don’t understand why people don’t like long podcasts, your listening to a podcast. It’s not YouTube. I’m writing this review out of sheer spite because when I heard you guys talk about the negative reviews it just mad me so irritated. The people who gave bad reviews weren’t necessarily critiquing you, but we’re definitely just hating on the show. It’s like they blamed the hosts of the show for something they had no control of. I thought the way the Shy Baldwin situation ended was very realistic. Everyone thinks that could have ended better, but honestly that whole situation with shy was never gonna end well. Midge was also told by Shy’s manager to talk about Shy. It’s almost like she was set up. Midge was just making fun of shy being a pretty boy, and high maintenance. In 1960, most people wouldn’t have thought anything about Shy’s sexuality. Fabian, Elvis and Tab Hunter were pretty boys too. No one knew Tab was gay. Then you look at people like Liberace, and people just didn’t think anything of it. I feel like Midge gets all the blame, because people don’t like how the situation ended. I’m noticing most people are criticizing the show for not being 60s enough, but they don’t realize that it’s only 1961. Of course only being 2 years into a decade, most of the stuff you see is gonna be from the previous decade. The sixties most people are familiar with doesn’t really start until like 1963. Im a guy who’s 22, but love the culture of back then. The show is very accurate to the period. I love how they mix the fictional characters in with real historical and pop culture ones. It’s like Easter egg candy. I’m wondering if Midge is gonna have some sort of falling out with Gordon Ford like Johnny Carson did with Joan Rivers. Love the podcast, hopefully this one brings your ratings up!

    Finally found my marvelous sisters!
I stumbled upon this podcast while looking for a podcast featuring The Mandalorian, and I’m thrilled to have found my Marvelous Maisel sisters!! No one I know watches this show - completely shocked by that - and this podcast gives me the outlet I need to explore the show and pick up on things I missed during the first watch. Love the show and if they are all three hours, I will still be there every week! Keep up the great work!

    An absolutely marvelous podcast!
I Love this podcast! The hosts are lovely full of incite! They genuinely seem to love and adore the show! Keep up the good work!!! I feel that the critique of it being too long is unfair. If it’s too long don’t listen. They are able to discuss and analyze the show as well as feedback and interesting topics surrounding the show. It is allowed to be longer. I hope that the creatives behind the show don’t see that comment as indicative of most of the listeners. That commenter certainly doesn’t speak for me.

    Very in depth podcast
Big fan of the Podcastica network and so glad they are covering Mrs. Maisel! The hosts are great as they are actors and can give that insider knowledge that I really enjoy. It is a long podcast but to really do justice to what is in each episode I don’t see how they could be shorter. I am intrigued and excited for the special guest interview which again shows how dedicated these hosts are to the show and giving us listeners an amazing experience. Thank you for taking on this show. I am really enjoying it so far 😊

    Fantasy vs reality
The issue with the flash forwards being too real or dark reflects your glossing over the real/dark issues with season 3 and 4. You didn’t even mention midge’s Apollo set outing Shy, a black man in 1960 and the Palladinos’ tone-deaf way of dealing with it in season 4. Midge wanting revenge and even her apology being so clueless. I believe she’s a clueless, privileged person, but why am I supposed to cheer her on? The thing is I do love the show, warts and all. However, you all not even addressing it in your season breakdowns before season 5 explains pretty well why you’re having difficulty with the flash forwards- doesn’t paint midge in the best light. I actually appreciate that from the palladinos. Maybe they realized that blind spot they had in writing in season 3 and 4. We’ll see.

Editing is a skill; please learn it
Look, I listen to podcasts a good part of my day and usually like longer podcasts. Typically an hour is the sweet spot. But I can’t conceive of why anyone thought a podcast that is 3x as long as the Mrs. Maisel episode discussed was appropriate? Is Peter Jackson a producer? You do not all need to repeat the same line of dialog for one. Also, I’m fine with commercials on podcasts; people should make money but again, maybe an editor would help with placement; at least one ad cut in mid-sentence. Maybe listen to other multi-presenter podcasts discussing one show to see how they divvy things up? I think this podcast has potential, they just need to each repeating the same info and figure out what they can be cut.
