Wow what a surprise two more dumb americans
The fact that most Americans are too dumb to get the Hip. That’s just the way it is. The dichotomy of Americans if got it….they wouldn’t be as great.

    Best Podcast for Hip Lovers
Loving every episode of this podcast! Great idea to introduce two newbies to Canada’s greatest rock band (possibly the world’s), and Tim and Pete are on point. Be patient if you’re a hardcore hip fan - it takes the guys a while to warm up to our boys from Kingston, but once they do, the pod really takes off. Probably even going to the finale in Toronto on September 1st. Well done, jD. Great idea for a pod!

    Too negative
I think JD is great. I loved the Fully Completely podcast (look it up!). A great community has built up around that podcast on social media, too. This one, however, is really grating on me. I loved the concept and let myself continue along for a good chunk of the journey, but I just can’t hear about how bad all my favorite Hip songs are anymore. The album Fully Completely as a “naked cash grab?” About half the songs on Day for Night are a problem in one way or another? It’s just not the positive Hip content that I’m looking for. Badly selected panel.

    New ears
It’s great to hear these albums through new ears. The guys point out lyrics and structure I’ve never realized before and it’s slowing me to listen to these songs with new ears.

    Yep this is good ay
Love the concept!!!!!!! I’m popping my TH cherry too. About the same age at TL and always heard of them and would run into crazy fans in bars during th 80’-90’s expically being in the upper midwest (WI) but didn’t know much aboout them. Keep it up, I’m on board for the full hip to tragic ride. I told time this and thought I’d share my POV All Canadian Surf Club Is a Quentin Tarantino film song FD
