Around 43 min mark there is a factual error. The issues regarding 1st Amendment Rights specifically getting paid for speaking on/with raptors was litigated in California in Federal Court. Both California and the US Fish and Wildlife Departments conceded and struck all regulations in California all restrictions regarding use of our falconry for pay not just reimbursement for expenses for education, presentation on all media forms including advertisement and movies. Stavrianoudakis v CDFW and USFW. and after appeal on the balance of complaint standing granted and remanded back to lower court to affirm and reinstate the complaint regarding 4th Amendment rights, specifically the illegality of “unannounced inspections” as illegal searches.

So amazing to see the changes in Falconry in my 40 years in this adventure. Al Frank has done an incredible job providing history, insight and and updated information on what available for falconers today.
