    Too many ads
    Lots of ads little content

    Colby NOT Cory
How on earth did you let a Show get published with the name Colby said as Corey over and over and over again you didn’t know as much as you follow this show that his name is Corey or do you just read a script. Does nobody edit the show that noticed it how sad that you put on a show so sloppy and unprofessional.

    Way more ads than content
I liked the trial coverage but the ads/commercials were overwhelming. I even unfollowed the show and the ads still play. I can’t get rid of these 10-15 second teaser ads. It’s driving me insane.

    Sad but true
Listening I am impressed by the way respect has been demonstrated by the program builders. (even though he may not deserve it)
  • Tenalyn
    Not worth the listen
I forget why I stopped listening, and then I listen and remember. The swearing is out of control and his take on the Mormon church is way off base. Stick to the facts of the case. The trial effect podcast has all the trial audio with breaks cutout, awesome listen if you just want the trial audio. Listen to East Idaho news if you want commentary on the case - they have been following this case from the beginning - this podcast is not worth the listen.

    The commercials are relentless
    More commercials then content

    Tacky intro jingle
The upbeat “murder in the morning” jingle at the beginning is beyond tacky.

Podcast audio is clear, following is hard
There are too many legs to this podcast, broken down into so many parts that I spend half the time trying to find the right day/part I’m was listening to. They should have started a new podcast for the Daybell trial instead of adding it to the Vallow trial because we have over 700 podcast now! It’s overwhelming honestly.

    Ads, ads and more ads
Very little content - just ads. Lots of other podcasts out there with real content!

Ugh! Commercials!! I’m a subscriber! WTH?
I am a subscriber. It states “subscriber edition” on the podcast page, yet I’m still getting bombarded with *constant* commercials. What’s the point? I like listening to the trial coverage, but the overload of commercials before the trial portion, as well as the same after… what am I paying for? The other tidbits of interviews with FBI specialists, psychologists, etc, are 13-14 minutes in length with literally 7-8 minutes of commercials!

    Never a good listen
The tiny sound bites in between many REPEATED ADS is awful and frustrating to listen to. Yuck.

    LaClub of nuance re:LDS
Didn’t love the take that Mormons are more likely to be culty psychos because right now Chad and Ruby Franke are in the news. There is plenty to critique about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members. But I think this particular take is nonsense. If we made a spreadsheet of every single specific denomination that some psycho belong to I bet you find very similar ratios across the board. Any belief, including atheism, can be taken to extremes, twisted or made into some sort of zealotry. Implying that Mormons are just more prone to believe weird culty stuff is not a particularly nuanced analysis of what the heck is going on with these people.

    Only podcast
Only podcast I know of with trial audio and now transcripts is a great addition.

    More ads than podcast
I agree with the previous reviewer. I forgot why I stopped listening to this podcast. I would much rather listen to a longer once a week podcast if I have to listen to all these ads. I know you have to make it worth your time, but it is excessive when there is only 4 minutes or less of podcast, and more than that in commercials.
  • megeverywhere
    Ridiculous # of ads!
And constant repetition of the 2 minutes of content on a daily basis! Feels like listeners are being tricked here.
  • Blink BLINK Bags
    8 mins of content
    9 mins of ads-boring

    Could be a good podcast
Honestly I used to like the narrative, but 5 minutes of commercials for Hidden Killers’ profit just when you’re getting into the story is overkill. There are many more podcasts with the exact same dialect and audio without all the interruptions. It isn’t that interesting that I would pay for another subscription.

    Uh……
The is so light on content after the trial I forgot about it almost immediately. There’s so much info to discuss it’s perplexing to me why you produce like….. a few minutes of content, load it with ads and release it. I’m not a podcaster but. Lame execution of a wealth of information and sensational drama. What a waste.

    Living off of Ads
Very short podcasts with twice as many commercials. Almost forget what I’m listening to because the commercials are so many and so long this is clearly only made to cash in on the ads with a popular title attached. Last podcast was 18 minutes with literally 15 minutes of commercials.
  • TheBeayne
    Why?
I do enjoy listening- but 7/1/23 episode started off great and then your Phil - guest took it political- Why - the Daybells and Murdaugh killed their family members - the VP of the United States did not. Rude - and inappropriate- Phil has probably made it that I will not follow your show any longer. I would put doubt in a lot that comes out of his mouth and I am can betcha he has quite a bit of nervous laughter
  • MsMarcel070
    More commercials than substance
I would enjoy this podcast way more if it had more substance to it. The podcast itself is usually around 4 minutes with 4-5 minutes of commercials. Maybe instead of releasing a 4 minute podcast you could combine a few segments and make it worth sitting through all the ads!

    Ads!!!
Too many ads ! More ads than content. He ads nothing new to the top 5 Lori Vallow podcasts
  • Buffering19
Confusing to search and re-posts episodes already played.
The titles are so long you can’t see the one you are looking for on your phone before the screen times out. Episodes are often released out of order. It would be nice dude not to waste my time trying to navigate the trial of Lori Vallow. Make your titles only a few words or hey. Maybe number your episodes! Re-arranging the titles sounds like different episodes when they are the same just shows how inept the producers are. If it’s a recap say so. If it is raw footage for the love of heaven be uniform! After this trial I won’t ever listen to this podcast again. While the cases are of interest to me the format is unbearable.

    Nope
The singing and rambling of the host is more than I can take. Terrible podcast. If you are interested in the topic - keep looking.

    All ads
75% is advertisements. Continuously repeats same content. Just bad

    Crazy!
This whole trial is very intriguing. Some of these witnesses sound like nuts! It’s almost unreal listening to these folks! THEY sound like ZOMBIES!
  • Sapphira80
    Inaccurate info
There are several episodes read by someone other than the usual host that give inaccurate information. Lori Daybell did not have a daughter named Kylie, Tylee’s father was Joe Ryan, and Tammy Daybell did not die in 2015.
  • CaddyWampis
    What is wrong with people?
This is the podcast of the trial going on. It’s a judge, lawyers and witnesses. Unsure what people are listening to that makes this so confusing to them and then comment about A.I. voices…? I’ve only been listening to the actual full trial days… but am dumbfounded about what others are expecting this to be…?
  • caraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
    Cash grabs
Most of this “content” is 3 minutes of surface commentary wrapped up in 15 minutes of ads. Gross.

    Fil Waters
Giving his review of Vice President Harris’ laugh? I thought this was a podcast about Lori Vallow. At least I know I don’t have to listen to this one. Plenty of podcasts in the sea.

    Great coverage
And I love that you’ve got Detective Waters on here love him

    “You know…”
I’m fascinated by this topic, trail, but found this frustrating to listen to with run-on commentary punctuated by an exceptional number of “you knows”…ugh!
  • TrekGirlND
    Repetitive and AI voice
These episodes are incredibly repetitive. And some are read by an AI, I’m sure of it. Ex: “Street George” instead of “Saint George” for the Utah town St. George. Also, some of the trial recordings are mislabeled and out of order, so it’s almost impossible to follow.

    50% ads
Literally half of this podcast is ads. Trying so hard to profit on the death of some kids.
  • Beck M 1234
    Why is AI voices?
Parts of this podcast are read by an AI voice that pronounces random words inconsistently and weird. Is it that hard to just have a human read the copy?
  • Lexiebeth
Facts, timelines off and pronunciation is terrible
I’m so sorry, I’m sure a lot of work has been put into this podcast but the mispronunciations and the mixing up of facts makes it impossible to get though. Please study the case more, and for goodness sake, please listen to how names and places are actually pronounced before you start recording!
  • BPF72
    Photo?
Who is the woman in the photo? Why would you ever listen to this?
  • Jhsherman
Terrible formatting and ad to content ratio
Tiny episodes with over 50% of the time used for advertisements is just a terrible way to format a podcast. nothing about this feed has the end listener in mind.

    Correct Details Matter!
I’m only 10-15 episodes in, but I’m screaming at my phone because your timeline and several details are off! For just one example, the kids were dead before Lori and Chad got married, in fact, they died before Chad’s wife died. I wonder if Chad even had any interaction with them besides burying them. The welfare check wasn’t at the burial property, it was at Lori’s apartment in a very snowy Rexburg winter months after they died (so your guest didn’t know anything either as he talked about looking for disturbed ground). There weren’t months of calls for welfare checks, the grandparents had just finally become frustrated and then called the welfare check in November after not speaking to JJ for a couple of months. Kudos to Rexburg PD for doing what Chandler PD missed for months. Lori is a master manipulator, Chad is disgusting, Alex killed everyone, they are ALL responsible! And Chad never divorced Tammy. And Lori never divorced Charles. I like your quick clips and reports and I know you’re doing a lot of cases at the same time, but get the details right, please!

Dumps 100000 5 min episodes a day, irritating
Clogs up your feed and annoying to listen to because instead of just dropping one long daily episode, they drop 10000000, 5 min episodes every day. Annoying to try to play while going about your day because constant stop and stop.
  • nonpoint44
    Good host
    Worth a listen
  • Neebonator
That picture isn’t even Lori Vallow!
Johnny on the spot to cover cases you have no idea about again. Misinformation and the cover picture isn’t even Lori. What a hack!

    March 30, 2023 episode
I’d give this podcast 0 stars if possible! First, Chad Daybell and his bride are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They were excommunicated years ago for their crazy beliefs. If you all knew anything about the Church then you’d know that. That Church teaches kindness, love and service. Google up what the do. Second, love is thicker than blood. Lori Daybell is nuts, however just because a woman has a child that she didn’t give birth to does not mean that she would be indifferent to killing the child. People adopt kids or use donors to get a child, searching and waiting for years to get them. Others go to the bar one lonesome night and end up with a child. Third, the woman on the podcast needs to dig into the story a little deeper. She didn’t know that Idaho doesn’t allow for an insanity defense. I only listened to the end to hear what other offending remarks they were going to say. First and last for this girl!
  • Littlebird92
    Horrible Guest
The guest from your latest episode obviously knows absolutely nothing about this case! Lori is not a victim of Chad and she has 5 dead family members in her wake to prove it not to mention the death of Chad’s wife! So frustrating that many men see her has a victim in this when she had serious problems long before she ever met Chad! Do better with the guests you invite on your show! You are also asking a former journalist now stay at home mom/you-tuber(Lauren Mathias) if Lori is competent and whether or not Alex killed the kids. Really irresponsible as this case hasn’t even gone to trial yet! How is Lauren Mathias supposed to know? She’s giving her opinion as fact, which she and her husband do all the time, and although it makes for interesting private conversation - it’s irresponsible for her to present herself as the knower of all things in a podcast.

    Trial and Police interviews…
The full trips coverage (at least what’s available now) and the police interviews as the best part of this podcast. Thanks for digging them up and covering them.
  • nixfinity
    Professional and informative
Nevertheless, Idaho's failure to adhere to their speedy trial requirements is absurd absent any time extensions due to competency challenges initiated on Lori's behalf. A state is not entitled to any extensions by merely asserting that a defendant isn't competent for trial. They indicted a dangerous murderer and by law only have a strict six months to initiate trial--no exceptions or excuses beyond any extensions afforded by her challenges to competency. Disgraceful
