Y’all I’m about to go out and buy a PS just so I can play this game! I haven’t video gamed since Tomb Raider and Sims City Urbz. I enjoy listening to all the episodes and appreciate the full disclosure on warnings. I’m just now listening and I just finished watching the first season. I can’t wait to catch up and eventually to play the game!

If they actually do play the game. They don’t sound like it. They sound like they’re just reading cliff notes on the gameplay. It’s not good.

Half the time I enjoy this pod and the other half I’m so annoyed I can’t even finish it. I love the recap of Station 11 in the vs but the rating categories make no sense and Josh is obviously partial to The Last of Us. The recap of TLOU final on 3/16 was awful, the guest was ripping on TLOU and it was so unwarranted. I had to turn it off. I’m going to try the vs one more time and then will probably unsubscribe.

This is a pretty mediocre podcast. I just listened to one with AJ Cooper. He is a terrible speaker. I could barely understand him. Grace talks way too fast and doesn’t finish his sentences before moving onto a new one. It’s annoying.

Quick backstory: I love Post Show Recaps, I listen to a ton of their pods, and I only watched Station 11 because I heard PSR was doing this Verses pod. More backstory: It’s not an exaggeration to say that Station 11 changed me. It’s one of the best pieces of media I’ve ever experienced. I’ll also note that I think TLOU is wonderful! However, imagine my dismay when the pod started and it immediately became clear that the hosts chose categories that were obviously biased towards TLOU (including an “most umami” category that they have mostly interpreted *literally* so they typically just give it to TLOU - because you know, mushrooms 🙄). I don’t know if it’s for relevancy because TLOU is so hot right now, or something else, but it feels like their thumbs are on the scale. Their lack of good faith when assessing the categories had led me to feel a sense a dread every time a new episode drops. I know I’m going to be so disappointed to see an achingly beautiful show like Station 11 lose a competition that was biased by design. I’ve had to turn it off mid-episode at least 5 times over the last few episodes because I feel like I’ve been baited and switched. It’s heartbreaking because I genuinely love PSR and I’m grateful this pod brought me to S11. But I feel like they’ve done S11 dirty and it makes me sad.

I used to be a huge Grace fan. Anything she was on was a favorite. Lately she has fallen into this weird verbal-tic trend where she is constantly saying “like.” She is obviously very bright but this makes her sound like she lost 75 IQ points in recent months. Come on, Grace! You used to sound like a professional communicator. Please clean this up so I can listen again! (Many on your network do this distracting “like” thing but I hold you to a higher standard because you have proven yourself to be one of the best.)

Stopped listening. Lost counts of how many times “like” was used as a filler word. Doesn’t add to show at all, just a boring recap.

Full of adds. Not worth the content.

Half the time it feels like the audio is sped up they’re talking so fast, can be distracting.

This podcast feed is so great, you won’t need 80’s music… ever! Every podcaster in this series is phenomenal and are each bringing so much passion to this project. Listen to this podcast if you are watching The Last of Us!!

The PSR team is covering the show from all the right angles. They’ve been my go-to group for companion podcasts since COVID started, so I’m glad to see this ensemble group assembled around this show.

This is a great series of podcasts! So much content for just 1 show! Wow This much content can feel overwhelming at times and make you feel lost in the dark, BUT When you’re lost in the darkness, look for the light. This podcast IS THE LIGHT!

Lost me early on when they referenced zombies and the undead 😖 TLOU has zero zombies in it. Get someone else to host the show who know what they’re talking about.

So excited for this coverage from some of my favorite podcasters! There will be recaps, deeper discussion w/ game info, spoiler sections, comparison shows. Something for everyone! Can’t wait!
