amg_1120Audio Recorded Too LowI absolutely love this podcast and your content beyond! Chidera is an educator, every episode is educational. My only concern is how low the audio is, Iām listening now and have it the highest setting on my car. Once the paid ads come in itās a total shock of difference of volume. I can hardly hear this show in my AirPods. With that being said, I aināt tryna miss a beat of the slumflower hours teachings.

Ali.LouThank you for existing5 stars. A perspective that only enriches conversations pertaining to feminism.
-
VeryAsianNever looking backMy perspective on men, so-called āgoodā men and women-identified people who uphold misogyny and patriarchy has changed forever and Iāll never be the same. Thank you, Chidera.

hm.1913A breath of fresh air!Iāve been listening to her podcast every night and Iām constantly writing down the things she says. The Slumflower Hour is my new favorite podcast! Only feedback is if you could get a better mic because itās hard to hear you as the volume is pretty low.
-
Maria DeCocoI love itI love this podcast so much but the volume is so low compared to the ads and itās hard to hear her when Iām on the subway. Can the volume just be bumped up?? Please š
-
Lavender_menaceChidera for prezYour perspective on men is exactly what we all know to be true, but no one is brave enough to speak about it. Youāre our strongest soldier
-
MoonchildawooWhat about momsThe advice on here is so entertaining, Iām absolutely loving it. Also, wondering what the advise is for women who really wanna be mamas? How does that fit in to the life you seem to be showing women? Sincere questions, mwah!

RallyBally213Incredibly healing and insightfulChiddy is a mad genius. I first encountered Chiddy in 2019 through her book āWhat a Time to Be Aloneā and have been hooked ever since. My fellow Sagittarius Sun, Scorpio Venus! This show has helped me to recover from dangerously slow self esteem due to SA. Nothing has reprogrammed my brain more quickly than this podcast, not therapy not traditional religion, NOTHING! Chiddy, thank you for sharing your essence with the world. I want to be like you when I grow up!

gfresquezThe Nigerian auntie you never knew you neededChidera Eggerue is my favorite new dirty little secretā¦in the best way possible. To say sheās not for everyone would be inaccurate. Itās everyone else who may not be ready for her. As a lifelong feminist who has embodied aspects of what it means to be an empowered woman in the modern world, goddess Eggerue meticulously puts all of the pieces together in one seamless message: you (the woman) are the prizeā¦so act like it. I found myself unexpectedly in the dating scene in my late thirties after a long term relationship and engagement that consumed most of twenties. I was not prepared and my self-esteem was low (making me a prime target for men with ill intentions). I learned a lot of hard lessons after being manipulated, lied to, love bombed and heartbroken. My commitment to my healing journey, self-worth and standards around love and dating lead me to the Slumflower. Listening to her is like chatting with a family member or girlfriend: unsanitized, raw, hilarious and heartfelt. If you have experienced the things sheās talking about, you know that she speaks from a place of wisdom and that it takes balls to tell the truth in the way she does. Chidera Eggerue is a gift to womankind. Thx, girl.

Sani_ITWPlease!!I could barely hear her on the latest episode sounded like she was whispering lol

hayleighflooquite frankly the best podcast on this silly appiāll be taking my business to patreon following writing this review because Chidera is sharing unbelievably valuable wisdom and deserves to be PAID. as a recovering people pleaser, she opens my eyes constantly about my true value and steers me further away from my embarrassing history of fawning over men 𤢠thank you for your service, Chidera

Tgeoerge317EmpoweringLike Chidera says, this podcast is not for everyone, but if youāre interested in elevating your mindset and how you deal with men, then itās worth a listen. This podcast has given me some aha moments and Iāve made some big connections with experiences Iāve had in the past relationships with men. Regardless whether I agree with everything she says or not, thereās so much truth in her words and her perspective. I find this show super helpful, thanks girl!
-
tvgvgvggggggggEvery episode ever!Infinite wisdom, I adore this woman forever
-
Jas MNGems on gems!I wish I would have had this advice starting at 21. This podcast is the pep talk for life. Gems dropped always. Iām in my Lilith era
-
Alex Smith !YUPLove this woman, cherish her. Need to buy her book later today. Another review says something about āpick meā behavior - makes zero sense. Everything Chidera talks about (regardless of if you agree) is for women in the pursuit of taking up more space and asking for more. Iāve tried it before.. trying to be a āchill/low maintenanceā girl does not get you far. Period.
-
KathleenMariepLove bombing episodeThis episode speaks to my soul! I hate that I didnāt leave sooner. I hate that I allowed this man to manipulate me into that ārelationshipā.
-
CosmicjacksI wish I had this earlierI donāt listen to podcasts but I have listened to every episode of this one. My inner child is healing through this podcast and I am learning to be unashamed about my needs. Thank you so much for this.
-
Pegleg1989ErrrmmmIt seems like youāre still working through some āpick meā stuff, which sort of discounts most of what you say⦠this seems more like a journal or blog for your own mental health than like being helpful to others? Like idk itās a whole lot of projection and like stream of consciousness rather than a put together thought out subject? Like I think that style works but only really id you have another person to play off of/have a discussion with about the subject⦠otherwiseā¦. Again back to it feeling like a journal.
-
baileenciagaessentiali find it necessary to listen to this before engaging with men. HUNDREDS (if not thousands) of points made here. love how personal experiences are shared as well. and their voice, as well as laugh, is beautiful to listen to!!! you will not be disappointed.

CaarmensandiegoICONIC BEHAVIORAbsolutely essential. S/o to the goddess for this incredible podcastāØ

Savyy95*MIND BLOWING REALNESSThis podcast is the real raw truth about dating men in 2023 and beyond. This is the real truth about looking long and hard at yourself and raising your standards to create the life that you say you want. Only listen if youāre ready for that level of accountability and honesty with yourself or else you probably wonāt relate unless youāve done some much needed self reflection. This podcast will nudge you and inspire you to demand more out of men and out of life. Thatās what itās done for me anyways. Chidera is witty, confident, intelligent and an overall baddie with a disobedient mindset to match. Absolutely Luv it!!! 10/10 would recommend #patriarchysworstnightmare
-
KiaraJBThis Podcast is EssentialChidera is right to call herself a catalyst for changing mindsets and lifestyles. Been following her since she started #SaggyBoobsMatter and her words always resonate and act as gentle (and not so gentle) reminders. Lol.
