Wayne’s World 3: Back in the Schwing of Things

The best part of watching a show is finding out Rob and Josh have done an episode by episode discussion of it. What a joyous pairing of fine lads. I would listen to them discussing my grocery list.

These two aren’t scraping the proverbial butt crust of 90s movies with the third seashell. It’s the great bambino of podcasts. I’d drop Macaulay Culkin off a cliff any day if I had this podcast in my other hand, even if they killed my wife.

So often I feel like I need to watch the episode of movie/tv before listening to a podcast, but with this one, I can just enjoy it on its own. Thanks so much for these revisits. Dazed & Confused is my husbands favorite movie and holds a soft place in my heart. By the way, my rural town in CT had hazing for freshman in the 90s. It is/was real.

Rob and Josh together always good. My only criticism is the editing which I notice over all of PSR. I’m listening to one right now and somehow half of the show is playing twice. Unless it’s my pod catcher but I don’t notice this happening on any other podcasts other than PSR

If Josh and Rob talk about TV you can bet I’ll be there to listen.

“We’ll watch shows, and people will listen who have never seen the show, and we’ll tell them what happens in it. And then when their friends are talking about the show they can say ‘Oh, I know what happens in that show.’” It’s a genius idea for a show, even if my brain keeps expecting Wanda to show up at some point. I’ll keep listening just to hear Rob and Josh hang out, honestly
