StarrycharlieDisappointed revertThis podcast, specifically the episode criticizing intersectionality, broke my heart if I'm being honest. As a revert, it's difficult finding your new tribe. I was hopeful about this podcast and content creator but that episode left me feeling so isolated, defeated, and angry. I pray Allah can open your heart further. I also pray He can find space for my disabled queer self in Jannah because clearly I don't have any value or even validity to my existence here according to the host. Some things, like reverting are a choice - others like your health and sexuality are not. I hope the host can discover this.

samarei24Insightful and warmThis is a very thoughtful podcast that raises awareness about important issues in the Muslim community, many of which I was unfortunately ignorant of. As a fellow American (even as a born Muslim), it feels familiar and relatable. I appreciate your warm atmosphere, rational explanations and willingness to delve into uncomfortable topics. Look forward to future episodes iA!

umme habiba97May Allah bless you for staying so strong. We Muslims especially from Islamic background struggle so much with our deen. And it must be really difficult for you to learn everything all alone by yourself and having non Muslims family and friends. Can you make episode about your life experience and how your parents and families reacted suddenly knowing you becoming Muslim?

a woman convertingSo helpful! 💗It’s been difficult for me as a new revert to navigate many aspects of my new life, and also just to have someone to relate to as there are not many other Muslims where I live in general, let alone reverts. Mashallah thank you so much for making this podcast. ❤️ I especially enjoyed the discourse around setting boundaries because that’s been probably the most difficult aspect of converting for me. I’d love to hear more about that when it comes to professional relationships, how to not feel awkward just suddenly wearing the hjiab to work/school, and letting go of opposite sex friendships or relationships. 10/10 would recommend listening for any reverts, born Muslims, or people just learning about Islam! I hope you continue inshallah :)
