Jan and Laurent have me regularly laughing out loud. Peter is great in his own way and helps facilitate the entertainment (not always on purpose). The chess insights are incredible too. There is very little structure to the show and that’s what actually makes it brilliant and fun. They have a few set topics but the mostly freestyle approach is gold. Loved having MrDodgy on a few episodes / recaps. He would make an excellent 4th host. They should at least consider keeping him as a frequent guest host. I highly recommend this podcast!

Big fan - short and sweet.

Jan Gustafsson and Laurent Fressinet are very entertaining, engaging, and insightful hosts. Peter Heine Nielson is also a host.

The chemistry between the hosts from their time working on team Magnus is evident and the insights are really informative.

Entertaining and informative banter about top level chess. Gustafsson, Fressinet and Nielsen have great chemistry.

I love your podcast but whoever keeps clicking a pen, please it is very annoying.

Love the concept, content and how the three guys play off of each other. Generally, very enjoyable and surprisingly informative. Worth 5 stars, BUT: why can’t you guys level out the volume of everyone’s microphone? Generally, Laurant and Jan’s volume is of similar magnitude and PHN’s is barely audible. This makes it very tedious to listen to the broadcast because either you suffer hearing damage or you can’t understand half of what PHN is saying. Very bad! Can you teach Peter to get closer to the microphone? Or to turn up his mic volume? Or to speak up more? In episode 10, Lauren actually asked Peter to move closer to microphone, but got completely ignored. Peter, your comments are at least as important as the others, so we want to hear them!

I enjoy listening to the podcast, but I often can barely hear it. I need to turn my volume all the way up, and even then I can’t hear Peter at all in episode 10. Could you please work on the audio so everyone is the same volume and everyone is loud enough to hear? Thank you!

Perpetual Chess turned me towards Chicken Chess and it was a great recommendation! 10/10
