This podcast is a valuable voice of reason contrasting the diet culture that’s baked into social media and influence culture! The host offers a unique perspective and has helped me to critically evaluate the profiles I’m following and inspired me to curate a healthier and more balanced online experience.

    11/10 Recommend!
I truly don’t even know where to begin! Mallory is a genius. Not only is she well educated on the science behind nutrition. She also provides tips on navigating a healthy relationship with your body and food to break free from diet culture. She is funny, down to earth, and an absolute expert! If you’re not already following her on IG or listening to her podcast, you need to.

    Great, Informative Podcast
Great podcast! I love that these episodes are being hosted by a real professional RD who has personally struggled with food, body image, etc. I love your vulnerability, this has been very helpful for me. I have an episode request for the KETO diet. These people are nuts! I’d love to hear Mallory’s perspective on this insanity.

    Top notch!
From someone also in the anti diet space, this is one of the best podcasts out there. Mallory is excellent at sharing different perspectives and presenting facts, allowing listeners to form their own opinions. I love the variety of topics she covers!

    Educational, casual, fun & inspiring
I don’t know Mallory personally, but this podcast kind of makes me feel like I do. I started listening a few weeks ago (from oldest to newest) and I’m almost halfway through all episodes. I’m sure I’m not the only one that shares in the frustration that the “goal” is constantly shifting (especially for women) when it comes to size and diet trends. It’s comforting to hear data, research and anecdotal insights from someone who studies nutrition for a living. There are too many influencers online creating their own un-regulated “supplements” and giving diet advice without the proper knowledge. Therefore, Mallory is a breath of fresh air. Family history, stress and the fact that we are all 100% uniquely (and wonderfully) made, means that NO ONE should be tossing out blanket dietary recommendations. Mallory brings great information on every side. Plus she loves her pets so I think that makes her a pretty decent human.

    RD perspective
I started listening to the injectables/ozempic episodes because I’ve been out of the weight loss side of nutrition for a while and wanted more information. She gives lots of information and is easy to listen to explain and share.

    relatable and informative!
i found this podcast through another podcast and i’m so glad i did. knowing someone so “normal” online has struggled with the same things as you is really heartwarming in a weird way. it’s good to know you’re not alone and it’s good to know there is always room to learn and grow!

    The best
Listening to seems like diet culture feels like hanging out with your best friend who’s helping you learn to love yourself and rid yourself from diet culture in society. Mallory gives evidence based facts and opinions about tough topics while also keeping episodes light hearted and fun. Absolutely love her and the pod!

    Makes me think!
Mallory’s podcast feels like listening to a friend talk on the phone- its not the ultra-polished production like some put out, it’s real and imperfect (the cat wants attention all the time haha). But it is a good support while I try to learn to live a real and imperfect life in a society that spends billions trying to convince me that perfection is possible and a moral achievement. Strong use of evidence-based research, wide range of topics, and relatable content.

    Unique and informative!
I first listened to Mallory in the car on my way back to school and have been searching through old episodes for more that resonate! She speaks so clearly (both in terms of information and enunciation) and is so obviously looking out for everyone’s health and well-being. I love the yearly trend predictions too— so unique and what got me to first listen!

    Making wellness less confusing
Mallory does an amazing job walking listeners through all crazy topics that are hot in wellness world and helping you understand what could be helpful and beneficial to one’s health vs what trends are going to do more harm than good and are diet culture in disguise.

    Helping me unpack and unlearn.
After three decades of being fed expectations and beauty standards - this has been really great insight into reality. Everything is cyclical. Our bodies are powerful and more than the size and shape. Nice to hear it broken down at a level that a non dietician can understand!

This is the perfect podcast if you’ve ever felt confused, overwhelmed, or self doubt over all the contradictory health “information” out there. Mallory critically analyzes and dispels so many toxic and groundless trends and advice that try to profit off our insecurity and keep us small, hungry, and distracted and helps us become empowered, joyful, and free!! Thank you!!

    Helpful and personal
I just discovered this podcast a few days ago and have found so much of it helpful already. I’m working my way through the episodes and trying to apply it. While I’m not the target audience because it is very clearly geared toward women, there’s still a lot of useful and relatable information for all gender identities.

Taking responsibility for our own lives
Why don’t people take responsibility for their own lives? How we have normalized eating huge amounts of crap food and way too much food is crazy to me? My body feels horrible eating junk food but everybody likes to pretend it is normal or even healthy. When I was a kid we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. We NEVER ate food at 10pm or snacked on crap all day. We create our own diseases and lack of health by the food we eat. Maybe Gwen doesn’t eat enough to you but it is her life. Being triggered by everything is just another way to blame everyone else for our lives. I would rather see someone trying to put healthy food in their body then someone trying to normalize eating way to much food with NO nutritional value. If someone likes being overweight then good for them.
