I have severe anxiety and listening to these two sweet souls and their guests has been a truly healing experience. I have been struggling with faith and giving myself to god and they have helped me so much! I am so sad that they stopped the pod but I hope they are doing great refocusing and readjusting their lives!❤️

I’m sad they are ending the pod, i hope it’s not for good. This was a great weekly listen but I’m happy for them because they have the choice to make because it’s their podcast. I think if it’s right for them then it’s ok. Even though I’m pretty young this helped me through a lot of thing when my family was going through a rough patch and every week all I wanted to listen to was this pod. They helped me through the good and the bad, weather it was crying in my room or taking a nice jog they helped through it all. I hope someday they come back but bye for now! We all love you!!

Hi Josh and Sav, My husband and I use natural family planning (nfp) instead of taking birth control. There are different methods of nfp such as checking your temperature daily. We use the Creighton Method for nfp. There are lots of resources online to guide you. Best of luck! I love using nfp as it has help me understand my body more.

Love the podcast but just listened to the episode where you discuss George Floyd and wanted to point out (didn’t know if you were aware), race was never brought up in the court because it wasn’t a factor (the media spun that narrative). Police are severely undertrained on proper holds and this was an improper hold, not to mention the medical examiner found lethal doses of drugs in his system. Not excusing the officer but thought it was interesting what was put out and what was suppressed by media. Also, when y’all mentioned someone touching your daughter’s hair, I relate! Although, I’m not African American I have extremely curly hair and the amount of people that think they can just touch it is annoying. I have been known to reflexively slap someone’s hand away from my head (I don’t like being touched). I appreciate listening to your views on life, relationships, and parenthood and the fact you’re not afraid to be proud Christians! Keep it up!

I’ve enjoyed listening to them, however, when it comes to marriage or sex or anything related to them personally, they don’t really like to talk about it. If you want people to know you’re genuine and real, be honest with the people. That’s what people want, not brushing it off.

Love the halloween conversation. Growing up Christian, I never celebrated halloween. As I got older, my parents allowed me to dress but it was never allowed to be something scary or negative. In school, they teach you about Dia de los Muertos, and growing up I thought they were connected. Doing my own research I learned that they have nothing to do with each other, just similar holidays that are close to each other. It’s important to do your own research and make a decision for yourself. Still don’t understand the hype of the holiday but I choose to focus more on hanging out with friends then the holiday itself. I just listened to this episode (I’m a bit behind) and as half of a couple that’s been married for 6 months with a baby on the way, I FELT this! Thank you for sharing so honestly about your marriage and the changes you’ve experienced over the course of your relationship. Also I have the exact same love languages as Sav so I was really enjoying that! Keep it up, y’all bring such joy to my commute!

I find myself laughing and having a great time listening to these two. Their (realistic) wisdom and fun personalities are so captivating even with only listening to their voices. They definitely make my work day super enjoyable.

Waking up in the middle of the night spiritually speaking can sometimes be God waking you up to pray. When this happens it’s good to pray in the spirit if you can or pray in English. God could be showing you something to come or something he wants you to prevent or just grow deeper in your relationship with him/gifting and etc. it could also be the time to play the piano prophetically or write if you’re a writer. I could go on, but it’s always best to be lead by the Holy Spirit during those times. Where most people sleep, God is always up searching for that one to hear him more. Hope that helps!
