I like this podcast! It’s a nice lighter tone to the other podcasts I listen to! It so good! It reminds me of the stories my Apoy told me. Apoy is grandma in tagolog. I love this! My Apoy use to tell my things like this when I was little! About all the freaky stuff back in the 🇵🇭. It just has the same creeptastic vibe to it! Love it! My dad does hate it. Like I let him listen to it, and he said turned it off hahhaah. He doesn’t like the narrator. sorry.

The stories were really good but the people with personal experiences just kept yapping and yapping it frustrated me

This is such a amazing podcast! Stories are great and keeps you wanting more. Only issue are the commercials. One sounds loud and cheesy like Krusty the Clown. When you’re deep into a story, one commercial is so abrasive and loud that it doesn’t fit the aesthetic of the show which kinda ruins the vibe of the story. You quickly try to hit 30 secs to get past it. Aside from that, 10/10 great show and stories!

The premise of this podcast is good and some of the stories are really interesting. Some people have complained that the stories are too short, but for me it’s the editing that drives me crazy. Some people ramble and just aren’t great storytellers and it can be really hard to follow along. The quality of the sound isn’t great sometimes, too. It would be great if the older episodes could be edited, as I’ve had to skip some either due to background noise or the person just rambles or their voice is irritating (pitch, not accents). The quality of the episodes that came out later in 2024 are much improved.

This is always me go-to pod and for the ppl who actually read the reviews Ima suggest you also listen to unexpected encounters and tales from the break room both by Ericast network. Mostly about cryptids sometimes ghosts but it’s really good! Go check em out!

I am so happy I found this show, no excess commercials and no banter or commentary, just scary stories!

These are great, I like so many other people listen to these stories as a relaxing way to drift off to sleep every night and these stories are better than television, and with less commercials.

To be honest, pretty good content, kind of neat when the actual person who experience paranormal is explaining to you, the listener about the experience that happened. My only thing is they’re too short. Need to combine two stories to three stories together instead of making 10, 12, 13 minutes of story other than that pretty good layout for this podcast.

I love the show but Waiting a week for an 11 minute episode is crazy.

Why do you let people rabble on. This podcast would be much better if you would edit out the rambling chatter. At times its difficult to determine what the story is about due to the rambling on about unrelated stuff.

These podcasts are not only good they’re great and the people who are telling the story are perfect at it and I can’t believe they can do this I do feel sorry for the people and it does sometimes give me nightmares but it’s great I still listen to it I have a story that I’m gonna tell you I was in my room one night and we had moved into our house about a year ago when we first moved in it was sketchy it was weird and when we finished packing everything up it was all OK and then first night in my room was kind of weird we had already put everything in my room and everything was fine but a year later after we had moved in I saw well actually let’s go so it was in my bed and there was a desk in the corner of my room and right in front of the desk when I looked there was a woman sitting in there she was wearing a white dress with black hair black hair wasn’t too long it was kind of short kennel long I don’t knowBut when I looked at her she had no face and I looked at her for about three seconds and she didn’t do anything and then I got up I ran to my mom and she checked my room and there was nothing there I was so confused and then when I went back in my room about a week wait later I had seen something again and I had to tell my parents about it cause I know they weren’t gonna believe me but I had saw it look like a little kid just standing by my doorway I didn’t get up or run because I know my parents won’t believe me and I was afraid to because it was sitting right at the door maybe if I can go on a true story story I can tell the rest yeah there’s more

I like the detail and I am a believer and I love the paranormal side of the world I don’t like seeing it in person but hearing other stories about theirs makes me wonder what lurks above us.

These stories ring so true for me. I am from Mexico and have seen, felt many of the same phenomena.

Here from spotify, but this one has no adds I also enjoy tales of the night/ relatos De la no he and two girls one ghost :)

This podcast is fun because it’s entirely based on firsthand experiences. The problem is that the audio quality is that of a phone call so it’s not always clear. That being said it’s very entertaining nonetheless.

It’s a good story love the parts with the sound effect gives it more detail to it once you listen to it I also like because I get very bored and when I listen I feel as if I got something to do, but I do have to say that some people are right about the ads and never really hearing it good which I can see why but for me I’m losing my hearing to it makes it hard to understand what some have to say. I still love the podcast and won’t stop listening to it.

I think everyone who shares their stories are very brave i know it’s hard because your afraid that people will think you’re lying or crazy but i still am not convinced that the paranormal is true but i know that if you’re scared something’s going on be strong be brave and stay faithful to god because he loves you and will protect you p.s DON’T DO DUMB THINGS

IMO, True Scary Story is just as good as Spooked. Real spooky stories from real people. GREAT production. I am addicted to this podcast and I get so happy when I see a new episode has dropped. I also subscribed for $34.99/year which is TOTALLY worth every single penny for this caliber of entertainment. Keep it up, Edwin!!💪🏽👻💪🏽

I wish there was one everyday ! I sometimes re-watch old episodes! This gets me through work life and I personally think it keeps you thinking I always go and research after listening to something I’ve never heard before. I definitely love that our culture is always well represented in this podcast !

I love everything about this podcast. The small intro, and the actual story from the person and not the host. I love it!!

What I love most is hearing stories from all different cultures, ethnicities, ages, economic status, locations, backgrounds, and family dynamics. I think it’s cool that all these stories give a glimpse into how different people have such different responses/beliefs to paranormal experiences. The stories are decently creepy- goosebumps but not scary to me (but i listen to A LOT of horror podcasts) These stories might seem less intense because it’s not someone detailing one specific experience; the focus is on one person who is telling various paranormal experiences throughout their life. That also means the stories and storyteller sound significantly more realistic. I would absolutely recommend!

Love the real emotion in everyone’s voices as they retell their scary moments 😱 I want to know which episode it was, it ended with someone was sleeping in the basement and they kept seeing the moonlight thru the window flashing and then realizing it was the movement of swinging legs. I thought it was “Not my Mom?”
