Thank you for making this podcast - it’s great to hear more from the alone participants since the show is not set up to give a lot of the before or after story from the participants. I would love if you could move the interviews along a bit and prepare questions a bit more. These conversations can tend to stall out despite having such fascinating guests. Also, as the interviewer you don’t have to apologize for asking questions or do so much set up and reaction when putting a question out there - these people have agreed to be interviewed by you - it’s why they came on. Thank you for putting this out there!

Watched and loved all the Alone episodes and am really enjoying your podcast interviews. I really enjoy the way you carefully and sensitively question the interviewees. That’s a great skill, and it shows.

This podcast is a perfect compliment to watching Alone. Since I just discovered the TV show, I am working my way through the podcasts from the beginning. The host is pleasant and brings great conversation out of the participants he interviews.

I’ve been a fan of the show for a lot of years now and I love this look at contestants lives and especially love hearing about behind the scenes of their experience out there.

So happy I discovered this podcast to fill the void between Alone seasons. Enjoy learning more about the folks who participated in the show. But, still left wondering if Megan’s tooth is OK?! 😄

Love learning the background on all the contestants and Sam is great interviewer!

This podcast throws you right into the fire, smoke and grit of the story of alone contestants. Sam scratches every itch concerning who the people really are. Their backstory and experience is a fountain of wisdom, experience and raw emotion. Any fan of the show weather die-hard or casual will enjoy the knowledge and expertise shared by each participant. So sit back and let the smell of a roasting trout fill your senses.

The only thing I would change about this show is that I wouldn’t have to wait a week for the next one! 😆 It’s fantastic! I’ve loved getting to know each of the contestants on a deeper level.

I love this Podcast! I’m finding myself anxiously awaiting each new episode. All are very unique as Sam introduces us to the show contestants. I highly recommend this Podcast series.
