Intro slaps!! Certified banger!!!

I just started listening to this show as a result of following Mark on Twitter. His enthusiasm for everything he talks about on the show is contagious, and the YouTube counterpart to this podcast is also great. Highly recommend checking it out.

I love listening to the history of this store, getting information about unique products, where the store will be going in the future and what the store has done for the community. In a recent podcast I listened to it was mentioned what could be done with the podcast room when not in use. You need some animals that you can set up as props to look like they’re creating a podcast when you don’t have people in there.

I learn so much from Mark and the guests he has on the show. Jungle Jim’s is a great place and this Podcast is saucy.

You think this podcast would just be a long commercial for Jungle Jim’s. but Mark (aka Cheddar) is one of the best hosts in the game! He brings in some of the coolest people in the region to talk food, culture, drinks, what’s happening in the city & everything in between! if you dig food and funny this is a podcast for you! Honestly, I just love listening in on this when my day feels like it’s stale. I really love listening to Mark interact with guests and all of his antics. He’s personable, funny, and captures the essence of Jungle Jim’s perfectly. The cursing needs to stop. For crying out loud, you’re adults people. It’s a podcast about a grocery store and food. Good grief try to pretend you have some self control and class. For once.

I love being nudged about food I have little information on which will help us to create new dinners at home. Mark brings a community feel to Jungle Jims where I feel welcomed to stop by, bug him, be inspired and to deep dive into these special products one will find at the Jungle. A very fun podcast with a fun host who is our guide and asks questions for us as he takes us on a journey through the many different cultures and foods around the world. Worth listening to and checking out. Keep ‘em coming! Lol

I’ve always said that Jungle Jim’s is the best store on Earth. It’s like if Willy Wonka created a grocery store, stocked it with the finest ingredients on the planet, added some animatronics - and created an entire experience. There’s just no place like it in the World. This podcast is everything you want it to be - Mark is the perfect host: he’s witty, hilarious, adventurous and has fine epicurean taste - and because of this has you tuning in and checking in frequently. You never know what direction the podcast is going to go, what he’ll be tasting or trying, or doing next - it’s a blast! Thanks for producing such an awesome show!!!

This podcast is fantastic! Mark is compelling and funny, and a very engaging host. His interview style makes a seemingly “uninteresting” guest really pop and actually really leave you wanting to explore the topic more. This is all I listen to in the car anymore!

I’ll start by saying I’m not a podcast person, but this is a gem! WJJI is a delightful mix of reviews, interviews, and stories that I truly look forward to each week. The host is incredibly knowledgeable about food and does a darn good interview. For example, I am not a hot sauce fan, but when Mark brought in a hot sauce maker, he made it so interesting that I was sad when the section ended. Do yourself a favor and subscribe!

One of the great things about visiting jungle Jim’s is the exploration of new things. Mark the host does a fantastic job tapping into what makes the jungle Jim’s experience so exciting for new comers or people who enjoy visiting frequently. The podcast is informative, and fun. With Marks animated commentary and personality at the helm, as well as his ability to connect with his guest, he’s able to deliver the passion and expertise of his guest to his listeners in every episode

This is a great podcast with a fun twist on food and lifestyle. So cool there’s a podcast at a giant grocery store!

Great show, Great Host, Great place IRL

Mark is a great host that asks questions that pull on his guests’ passions and engages the audience. There’s been a bunch of great information coming out of this show. I can’t wait until he can pull guests like Brad Leone from Bon Appetite’s “it’s alive” series. I think he would really enjoy the wild nature of The Jungle!

This podcast is one part informative, one part fun and all parts awesome! Keep up the great work!

Finally a podcast with that's informative, fun and never boring

This show is a good and entertaining way to talk about food. Honestly I’m not a foodie, but this show has gotten me thinking about different kinds of food in different ways. The recent holiday episodes were great. I especially enjoyed that segment about cheese. The only issue is this show makes me so darn hungry. I do not recommend listening to this show on an empty stomach (like I have done more than once)! 😱

Jungle Jim’s is one of the most unique shopping experiences on earth and Mark is like a great cheese to go with this fine wine. I love getting to see behind the curtain at how this crazy place runs and I really enjoy the other eclectic content in every episode. This is more than just another food podcast, it’s an experience!

Mark is an incredible host. I use to work in the same plaza and he often came into my work and he’s such a cool guy! The podcast is amazing so far. I loved the scary story episode. Mark is great at hosting the show and interviewing the guests.

Before the Jungle Jim's Podcast, I didn't even know what a banana was! Mark is funny and smart, and he definitely has the face for Podcasts!

I bought a new fruit because it was described in this podcast. Mark has made me a healthier human and for that I am eternally grateful.

I am from Indiana, about 2 hours away from Cincy, and visit Jungle Jim’s when I’m in the area (usually a handful of times a year.) When I went a few days ago I was blown away when I saw the podcast studio since last time I was there (July) it wasn’t there. I listened to the podcast all the way home and it is fascinating. I love the interviews with the employees, getting to know what goes on behind the scenes at the store. I enjoy the taste testing segment a lot because it gives me ideas of what to try on my next visit. Mark is a great host. I think we have some similar interests, so it makes it feel like I’m listening to a friend tell me about their day (450 North in the fridge here too;) It has definitely made me want to make time for more frequent trips to Jungle Jim’s. Hopefully next time I can catch Mark in the studio, and maybe the sound of me pushing my cart past the window will be heard on the podcast😁

Don’t know how Mark has done it but he’s made me love Jungle Jim’s EVEN MORE. I didn’t think it was possible! Every episode has been entertaining thus far and incredibly fresh, just like the produce at JJ’s, and I look forward to the drop every week. As a person who no longer lives in the Cincinnati area, I DEPEND on this podcast to get my JJ’s fix. This podcast highlights the people and ideas that make Jungle Jim’s a destination and the grocery store standard all should try to emulate. Come join the banana bunch!
