    Love her !!!!
I love her so much ! Her energy is everything! She’s like the supportive mom I don’t have. She’s the motivation everyday ! I couldn’t picture my kids sitting down and listening to me talk about stuff in a book. When I found Sue it all started to make sense ! Unschool ! Live life. That’s it. Everything kids need to know as adults is outside and in the home not a book !

    Indispensable Guide for Unschooling Families
Sue’s gentle, encouraging words and voice are an invaluable guide into the world of unschooling. She offers real-world support and ideas, while also calming any fears or doubts that try to creep in. As we embark on this journey, I am listening to Sue’s episodes back-to-back, every day. These short, digestible listens pack so much inspiration and encouragement into each one. I am beyond grateful to Sue for all that she offers to parents for this widely-misunderstood, road-less-traveled path.

She really is the confidence whisperer!
I am loving this podcast so much! She makes each concept seem attainable. This podcast inspires me to reflect on my role as a parent and my role as an educator. I can see the wheels turn in my child’s head and it’s so hard not to dive in and become overly involved, but just a few of her podcasts have helped me see that my involvement can sometimes hinder the learning process. I have a long road of my own self reflection, but I know this is the correct path for my child. Thank you!

    I never knew
I LOVE this podcast. I never knew the style I’ve been leaning toward is unschooling. The name unschooling is kind of wonky and a bit of a turn off, in my opinion. But learning what it IS actually gives me courage to finally fully jump in. I tried the curriculum route, and my kids have hated all of it. If only I had gone this route 7 years ago!! Though I’d dabble, I never committed. Though, I have to tell you I did teach my second oldest to read in an unschooling fashion. And when Sue said, in her podcast on reading, that once these kids start reading there’s no stopping them, I laughed out loud! It’s so true, he will not put his books down! Even though he was a “late” reader according to standards set by people who don’t know my kids, he blossomed when I gave him space and now he’s a book worm. Evidence that I can trust unschooling with the other subjects. I’m so excited for this new adventure! Thank you Sue!

Such a great source of wisdom!
Sue always makes a challenging concept seem clear and easy to understand. Even better she is always reassuring and has so many ideas to get you through whatever you are stuck on when it comes to homeschooling! Highly recommend her courses, membership group, and one-on-one coaching, too!

    Great Podcast
I have not listened to many other podcasts. I actually deleted the app from my phone because they weren’t my thing. When I read that Sue was now uploading podcasts I downloaded the app again to give it another try. It’s the only podcast I actually come back to listen to. It’s not too long, not too short, and gives great advice. The calming voice is a plus 🙂
