These are great at talking SEC ball but completely leave out women’s sports like basketball and softball which the SEC is dominate in, would give 5 stars if they discussed it more

Chris has a depth of reality and integrity combined with relevant context and detail. One of the best if not best podcast on the SEC

I’ve listened for about 2 years but I think I’m about done. I enjoy all SEC sports and Chris Lee is great and I appreciate the newer addition of Max, but Blake Lovell is hard to listen to. He’s honestly fairly objective but man does he have a hard time when he’s wrong. Any and every game he picks wrong, which is gonna happen a thousand times if your job covers sports, he spends 5 mins each episode walking it back to 3 episodes prior where he said “team x is looking good.” Dude, no one cares. Just offer opinions, discuss the games, make picks if you want and if you’re gonna talk about them then just own it if you got it wrong. It’s no big deal. It’s sports for Pete’s sake. It’s kind of exhausting to listen to you. The other two sound like adults and can poke fun here and there, and I generally enjoy the coverage. Blake can actually offer some great insight and analysis but man almost every episode I feel like I get to a point where I say “man you’ve got a huge ego and it’s a turn off.” There are a thousand other podcasts out there, I don’t want to be mad at the host literally every time I listen to it. The recent episode where your internet is going out and you’re hunkered on the kitchen floor w/ no video feed…we can all empathize with that. More of that humility, Blake! I’ll give it until basketball season is over and if I don’t get less of Blake talking over his co-hosts and parting himself on the back non-stop, clearly the podcast just isn’t for me.

If you’re a diehard college baseball fan like me, especially in the SEC, this is the single best podcast for you! Informative, passionate, knowledgeable, funny, and consistently great 👍

I’ve known Chris for a decade or so and I’ve listened to Blake/followed him for a while now. These guys are top notch in their SEC knowledge and execution of sharing that knowledge to listeners.

Chris Lee is one of the true greats in sports journalism. He truly knows the inside story, the conference, the traditions, the legends and the people that make the SEC the premier conference in collegiate athletics. The only name you need to know for a truly professional, detail oriented, inside coverage of this great conference is Chris Lee. Chris Lee, the real king of SEC coverage!!
