    Verbal diarrhea
I only listened to the nirvana episode. So many words without saying anything at all. It’s like you don’t even know what you are talking about because you never listened to the music and didn’t even do research to bring yourself up to speed to actually talk intelligent about it.

    Great pod.
Love it. WIsh it would come back!

Being an arrogant white hipster doesn’t make you a cultural avatar
Just terrible. In the episode about Paul’s boutique they mix up song titles and make numerous factually incorrect claims about the group and album. This show is a great example of how to dip into a variety of music genres while NOT showing love or respect for the associated cultures. Foolish entitlement.

    Enjoyable Listen
I’m enjoying jumping through the catalog of pods here. Not every episode works, but some are really fun and informative. The Queen album probably didn’t belong on the list and Lisa’s David Bowie takes are, in my opinion, absurd. It felt like her initial impressions of Bowie and the album prevented that episode from being interesting. Anyway, very fun overall!

I wanted it to be good.
I think I expected more analysis versus two people who don’t know or live music talking about it.

    Podcast about Music
Super enjoyable podcast, that’s charming and insightful. Appreciative for these 40 episodes they have given me. Thank you, and hope all goes well

    Head Pass
I dove into this podcast for the AC/DC “Back in Black” episode. Big mistake. First of all, one of the hosts knew NOTHING about the band and proceeded to bash the group right off the bat. Which would be fine, save for the fact that this podcast is called NO SKIPS.

    Love the banter
Love the recaps and love the banter. Please do a Rage Against the Machine album - the self-titled one or evil empire?

    SKIP THIS PODCAST!!!
NO SKIPS is the most ironic title for this podcast. Should be titled SKIP THIS.

Was excited to hear their thoughts on Wu Tang but they didn’t say talk about anything! What is the point of the podcast?

I can’t start this podcast and may not start this pod for the simple fact that

    Maybe I’m too old
Or shouldn’t have started with the Purple Rain ep as a huge Prince fan, but when someone disses Sign Of The Times, says they don’t get Talking Heads and doesn’t recognize ELO, yeah you’re kinda sus having a music pod. You guys certainly find each other hilarious and entertaining which is cool.

    Awesome
As a music lover with a wife who doesn’t care about it near as much as me I love this podcast! Really cool to get music takes from normal people and it’s always good for some laughs! Keep up the good work! -WithMyNextPick

    Great Show!
Great show, particularly loved the SP - Mellon Collie episode. One correction, Billy Corgan actually played the majority of the solos on the album. James Iha only played a few, the solo on Zero being his most iconic. So, most of the face melting was in fact Corgan. Amazing album and love the show, keep it up!

It’s good to hate listen to
These people seem to mean well, but know very little about the albums they are covering. It’s shocking how little research they do for the show. Any real music fan will bang their head off a wall listening to this. I can’t tell if this is just a trolling podcast. The lack of knowledge about huge acts like Nirvana, The Beatles, and MJ is mind boggling.

Should have done In Utero, not Nevermind
Nevermind is a collection of great songs, but as an album In Utero is much more cohesive and thematic, and a better fit for this podcast. I think you guys would have enjoyed it much more, and it undoubtedly meets the criteria of being a classic album (look at how many “best albums of all time” lists it shows up on).

    Absolute Delight!
Lisa and Jack are charming and informative and provide a much needed excuse to give some classics a relisten or a listen for the first time. Almost knocked a star off for the Showroom Dummies hate on the Kraftwerk ep, but we’re all entitled to our opinions I suppose.

    Engrossing and insightful
We enjoy listening to this laugh a minute podcast, having our own arguments about the album being covered and then being inspired to continue down our own road of musical discovery inspired by the epic journey of these wonderful podcasters. Fun AND informative. Thank you for your dedication Jack and Lisa. ❤️

Amazing! (Coming from a fellow skipper)
As someone who can never answer the question “who is your favorite band” because I BASICALLY just listen to the singles and songs I like...I relate much with Lisa. The podcast is super enlightening on the albums being covered and also absolute amazing and hilarious chemistry. Genuinely looking forward to more episodes, as I could certainly use some discipline to sit down and give a full album a chance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
