    Awesome podcast!!!!
Thank you so much for your podcast. I have been a practicing PA for over 20 years. I listened to your podcast over and over for the past few months while preparing for the PANRE. I used so many of your crazy/awesome mnemonics during the exam. Your podcast and youtube channel are awesome!!!

Love the podcast. Hate the ads
The podcast is great. I’m not sure if they can customize what ads come up on their podcast but I keep getting far right ads and its super distracting. I don’t think any of these types of political ads, right or left, are appropriate for a medical podcast.
  • JLU25
    Incredible!
I am an NP student (not PA) but all of these podcasts have still been game changers for me and my studying! They allow me to review while in the car or doing work around the house. Incredibly thankful for this podcast!

    Amazing Clin Med Resource!
Cram The PANCE has been a cornerstone to my success in PA school. He explains topics in was that keep your attention and are easy to remember. He’s also really good at repeating key information multiple times through the episode so it sticks! I really hope we get blessed with more episodes in the future!

Scott is the Other Great Shapiro in my Life
Passed the PANCE with flying colors. Went through all the podcasts about 5 times during clinical year, any time I was driving or traveling. Added all the mnemonics Scott has to my notes from Rosh Review and destroyed the PANCE. Scott has his place next to Ben on the Mount Rushmore of greatest Shapiros ever.

    Thank you!

    SO HELPFUL!!
I’m in nursing school and these episodes have really helped develop an understanding of disease processes. We usually don’t go deep into patho, but it really helps to hear it explained. Please keep these coming!

#1 podcast for a PA student!!
I absolutely love this podcast. I listened to it religiously during clinical year of PA school, often while running. I have actually listened to every episode multiple times. It has fantastic mnemonics that really help you to remember things. This podcast is a huge reason why I passed my EORs and ultimately the PANCE. I could not recommend it enough!!
  • Uhl33s
Absolute lifesaver, but a little request -
This podcast (and the videos) are literally the reason I’m passing PA school. He knows exactly what information to pick out that we need to know, and every one of his little memory devices and mnemonics come up for me in exams. My only feedback is to please leave a tiny bit more of a pause between asking practice questions and giving the answer - sometimes I like a split second to think about an answer before you say it aloud, and if I’m biking/running/driving then I’m not able to physically press pause in between before you say the answer. Thank you!

Please Sir, may I have some more?
This has been so helpful while commuting, and I love all the memorable nemonic devices. Pediatrics please!
  • JDub2024
    Amazing!
This is an absolute game changer, allowed me to study during the long drives between rotations. He breaks it down beautifully so it really stuck for me. Thanks for getting me through PA school!

    Such a Helpful Podcast!
When I could not look at a screen or a book for one more second studying for the PANCE this pod was perfect to get out on a walk and still be productive! Also great when I had a rotation that had a long commute. Passed the PANCE last month!

    Best thing ever!!
This podcast has been my best friend in pa school. His amazing mnemonics and simplistic way of describing things is what has helped me to succeed. Can’t thank you enough for all your hard work and your desire to help us struggling pa students!
  • Leilaniu
    My #1 Resource
If I had to choose one singular resource to get through PA school, I would choose this podcast. Simplifies what my professors overcomplicate. I walk out actually understanding the concepts. I also adopted the style of retaining info and became a better overall student; acronyms for the win!
  • SunSquareMoon
Such a great resource for PA school!!
This podcast is amazing and the mnemonics are saving my life during PA school! I wish there were episodes for every specialty! It’s too good! I highly recommend!

Where has this been all my career?
This podcast is the best “oral flash card review” I’ve heard…great pearls, pneumonics, and visuals delivered at a pace I can keep up with without extra fluff. I’m so grateful I found this before my recertification. Thanks so much!!
  • Yandi2018

    My go-to podcast :)
This podcast is amazing and quite literally getting me through PA school! It’s great for me to use to learn the information in another way or to go back through other sections to remind myself of past information I may have forgotten. Please keep these coming out I depend on them! :)

The absolute best podcast and YouTube videos
I am still amazed by how much Cram the Pance has helped me. I have watched those videos over and over and I remember so much because it is so easy to follow through because he does such a great job explaining things and putting things in perspective so you can actually remember it. Not to mention all the amazing mnemonics. I can’t thank him enough. I truly wish he has videos for everything! I would be mastering things in no time! My appreciation to Mr. Shapiro! You are amazing!

This is one of the best podcasts for PA school. My entire class listens to these and it really helps fill in the knowledge gaps during didactic years. It’s also a great review for the EORs and PANCE. I love the little tricks and mnemonics to remember things. Check out his YouTube videos too for some good visuals!
  • Jake Gervais
    So Helpful!
I couldn’t agree more with all the comments saying this is the best podcast to listen to for PA students! Thank you for all the work you put in. Could you do a 50 high yield episode for infectious disease??
  • jillbob7
The BEST tool to survive PA school!
This podcast has helped through every step of my didactic year. I couldn’t be more grateful for his to the point way of explaining things, as well as the tricks to remember stuff. My classmates and I all listen and love cram the pance! Would be lost without you!!
  • Fcrae
    THE BEST
By far the best podcast for PA students!! My friends and I discovered this podcast a little over a year ago and frequently go back to these for information/review. Coming from someone who is always riding the struggle bus in PA school, these are a God send!! Definitely a must listen to.
  • PJ_2_PA
    Great!
Love the no-nonsense approach and format to presenting material! No other PA school podcast like it out there!
  • Cass3272
    Awesome
I’m currently in clinical rotations in PA school and these are amazing for when I’m driving to locations as a refresher. Pretty much all the info you could need for didactic and clinicals!! I wish I would have found this sooner! The YouTube channel is also amazing if you’re more of a visual learner!
  • Amber Ran H
    Best review
I’ve been a specialty PA for 8 years, need to freshen up for the PANRE. This has been SO helpful. Teaches you ways to remember things, what’s most important etc. literally my favorite study place as a busy mom who can’t read books right now.
  • agb234
    Love this!
    Still helpful for nursing school!
  • pa_dani
    THE BEST
This podcast and YouTube channel has been so helpful during didactic! I am such an advocate for this podcast to the point that I was given the superlative of: most likely to have the DJ play “Cram the PANCE” at her wedding. Keep them coming!!
  • Marissa PA-S
    Memory Tricks & the WHY
This podcast is incredibly helpful because he explains the physiology, so it helps me remember it because I understand WHY it’s happening, closes the loop of knowledge and learning for me. And then even better, He gives an easy way to remember things, which is more helpful often than the review of the material cuz stuffing my brain so full during PA school it gets muddled without memory tricks. I would love show notes of some kind/one document with just the memory tricks.
  • fe roppe
    This man & his podcast❣️
I am so thankful for this podcast. It keeps me interested, motivated, & anxiety-free knowing that I can review all these topics in a concise, on-the-go way that’s different than lectures of some stuffy arrogant doctor explaining medical jargon that I don’t even understand.
  • Driiiiia
Best blueprint review with high yield focus

    Great Podcast!
I’ve learned and retained more about some of these topics than I was ever taught in my didactic year. As I have listened multiple times over the clinical year and on into studying for my boards, the concise teaching points and pneumonics have helped me so much!
  • Covjm
Best pance review podcast out there!
Just started studying for my PANRE. Information in this podcast is short, concise and easy to understand. Scott does a great job at presenting all the key learning points. Really appreciate you putting this podcast together! Only recommendation would be to add notes/time stamps to make it easy to return to a portion of your podcast to specifically review. I understand if this is too much work though. Great job and thanks again Scott!
  • Ljttt
    Med student loves it!
This is so helpful as a medical student! Covers a lot of the main idea material that we learn in medical school which helps me make sense of the overall picture of what I’m learning!
