Umami_earleGame changerMaisie’s work has been a game changer in my world. Her books, membership, all of it have rocked me in the best possible way. This pod is like my Wednesday bible, I get so much from it and often apply perspectives she’s shared. I think she’s so pragmatic and honest, no nonsense, all while being super open and gentle. Big love.

Super inventorA rich resourceThe period power podcast has been a go to resource for me since its beginning. It is always relevant to my life, even when I think it won’t be. Sometimes it feels almost magically aligned with something I’m grappling with. It is digestible, often uplifting, applicable. It’s one of my top go-to podcasts.

KaylaKris22Favorite podcast!!I absolutely love listening to Maisie’s podcast Period Power. I learn something new with every listen and often go back to the show notes to find a resource that I want to come back to. I am so thankful for Maisie and all the time, work, and expertise that goes into this lovely podcast!

Yasmar YmaLike a flower blooming!I made my way to this podcast after hearing Maisie as a guest on another show. I was intrigued by the idea of getting to know my hormones and how they impact my everyday life. This podcast is so much more. Each episode has a nugget of wisdom that gets me thinking, and the result is living a more intentional, thoughtful, and enjoyable life. It’s easy to get lost in distractions and let life pass us by, coping one day to the next. This podcast inspires me to see my own path more clearly so I can be the woman I want to be and make the world a better place (hopefully). Sincerest thanks to Maisie and contributors for the work you do.

Beccax3x3annReal & rawI just started listening to your podcast. My daughter is about to step into this world of being a woman & I want to present her with a positive period. It doesn’t have to be scary. Can’t wait to hear more of what you have to say!

LaurenS444Love!Excellent advice. It’s like free counseling for things all women are facing and it’s so comforting to know we’re not alone. Her approach is straightforward and makes so much sense. Thankful! 🙏🏼

pmddGalWonderful, soulful and soothingThis is such a fantastic podcast, the host is wonderful, raw, honest and vulnerable. Listening to other women talk about their cyclical struggles is very reassuring and gives me hope in my lowest moments

MarciMTInteresting, educational, and inspiring!Maisie doesn’t only provide wonderful advices and valuable information to help you be in tune with your cycle, she also gives you tools to understand yourself on many levels and answer questions that you didn’t even know you had!!! She’s so real and helpful!
-
smashinash17More than a period podcastMasie shares more than menstrual wisdom, she shares wisdom for life. Although I do enjoy that, I would enjoy more info on periods!
-
annaannalwMore cycle specific info!I am absolutely loving this podcast so far Maisie is so real and fun to listen to. But I would love some more specific cycles info kind of like the first episode where she walks through emotions throughout your cycle.
-
Pwety plantieHelpful, grounded, wise, and fun! This podcast comes in bite sized chunks—with super effective and compassionate advice. Even for those of us with only slightly difficult periods, it’s outlook on self care is relevant and life changing. Love!!

Sam4411Period PowerI’ve only listened to one episode so far and I was so moved by the inclusivity of all bodies. So grateful for a teacher who speaks to the nuances of racism in the health care system, honors the gender spectrum, calls out the patriarchy, and is inclusive of disabled and/or differently abled bodies.

LEH820Love at first listenI’m picky about podcasts and I’ve listened to just one episode but I’m already hooked. This podcast is informative without being overwhelming and Maisie (the host) is smart but relatable. I’ve learned more about my cycle in 30 minutes than hours upon hours of listening to other teachers. I’m finally getting it! Thank you Maisie.

JoSoLovelyKnowledge is PowerI am so grateful that my life coach told me about Maisie’s podcasts. I suffer from PMDD and the effects of being on birth control pills for 20 years, in an effort to manage the PMDD. I am also a fellow autistic, as is my daughter who is almost 10 and also about to be entering this journey. At 45 years old, I am just now on the path to understanding my cycle. I used to say, “I wish my body would just work right”, and now see the benefit of changing that narrative. I am excited to learn more about how my body works and working with it for the first time. Most of all, I am thankful to have this knowledge to pass on to my daughter.

tcburtonI’m obsessed with this podcast!I absolutely love this podcast! For years I’ve struggled with cycle issues and my symptoms being ignored. This podcast is such a breath of fresh air. Not only has this podcast given me informative, actionable content to help me better my cycle; it’s also given me a lot of validation for symptoms no one in my life has ever validated before. The episodes on tiredness & how the patriarchy impacts your cycle are ultimate favorites of mine. In almost all the content I’ve consumed on periods no one has covered how the patriarchy causes so many of the period issues women face. Truly informative, empowering, and enlightening. If you’re not already subscribed, go subscribe now. This podcast is definitely worth it.

lafemmelisitaInformative and inspiring!I loved Maisie’s book Period Power and learned so much from it about the science of the menstrual cycle and how to work with it instead of fighting against it. This podcast is a really nice complement to the book! Each episode tackles a different aspect of cycle health: physical, mental/emotional, even cultural (thanks patriarchy for all the guilt and shame and mediocre health care!) She’s delightful to listen to, has a great sense of humor, and has tons of wisdom to impart.

purplebear24Do yourself a solid and subscribe.I love her book and I love her podcast just as much. It’s like my wonderful slice of lady power heaven. I love hearing about how to F the patriarchy and how to show myself more love all in the same show. The podcast teaches me about myself and how to harness my womanly roar. I feel empowered, in community and educated when I listen. I have 2 young girls (2 and 5) and I can’t wait to share this with them when they’re a bit older. Angered at how uneducated I was about my own body but so very grateful for such a lovely human being, Maisie, who is being super “effective” and sharing this stuff with the world. Shout out from Loveland, OH!

SarahBerry510Weekly slices of engaging, intelligent knowledgeMaisie is teaching me sooo much about my cycle that I had no clue about...and wish I’d learned this all 25 years ago! She explains the cycle and it’s presence in our life in such a friendly motivating way. I’m recommending this to all my friends and can’t wait to lean in and learn more.
-
RootimusBrilliant!Maise Hill offers advice every person with a period should know. I highly recommend listening to the podcast & reading her book Period Power. She weaves menstrual cycle awareness, her brilliant life coaching style, and her background as a doula and acupuncturist into her work. The menstruating world is super lucky to have her.

meghannoreanGrounding and InsightfulI have a podcast all about cycles called Lunarscape, but I focus more on the spiritual side of the cycles of womb earth moon. Maisie’s podcast is a great compliment in the grounded, scientific knowledge that we all need to know to have a healthy cycle. I also love how Maisie touches on the social constructs and activism around the cycle that not very many of us are talking about. I hope this information is able to reach so many more to give insight to our cyclical nature!

lmadison2018Answers to what I’ve always felt...I love the way that Maison helps to explain the things I’ve slowly noticed over the years around cycle and mood and life. It is refreshing to finally have a source to assist in explaining the complexities of the female cycle. Thank you Maisie!

kiwipapayayogaLove already!I just found Maisie and her podcast and I am smitten! I learned so much in the first episodes already and feel inspired to tune into my cycle, create a true listening relationship with it, and feel inspired to be my best self with this info. I also found her words insightful for life and relationships, not solely about the ‘moon’ cycle. I wish the episodes were longer and that there were more of them! I want to binge through them all. But probably good that they are shorter so that they are truly actionable. I feel like I have takeaways from each one. Can’t wait for more.
-
dani_rmInsightful, approachable, and so good!I started looking into the ebbs and flows of my cycle because I was never able to stick to arbitrary schedules I set for myself each week. For a long time I thought I just had a problem with my focus and energy levels, until I learned more about how the phases of our monthly cycles impacts us in a very real way! I found Maise’s podcast at just the right time and have enjoyed all three episodes so far. She’s easy to listen to and makes the concepts approachable and easy to understand. And while she takes a holistic view of how to align your life with your cycle, it’s firmly grounded in solid, practical advice. Can’t wait to listen to more episodes!

lindsertitiWhy don’t they teach this in school?I have been following Maisie for awhile and because of her, menstruation is one of my favorite topics. She is such an incredible wealth of knowledge and has a special way of making the cycle fascinating instead of something I’d previously have rather ignored. I’m always sending friends her way and I’m so excited that now I can send them to her podcast! Thanks, Maisie :)

saoribrooklynLife changingI love Maisie Williams! I am in my mid-30s, and I really wish I had found her sooner. Her book helped me realize that so many of the issues I’d been dealing with had to do with my hormones. Following her tracking method has really helped me flourish and feel more energized and in sync with my body. I’m so excited about this podcast!
-
Whitney8498Vvvv helpful infoPodcast, along with the host’s book, contains so much info I wish I had been given when I first started menstruating. Highly recommend for anyone looking to learn about how hormonal changes impact literally every day of our lives!!
-
itsbiancawExactly what I’ve been waiting for!I am an ICU RN in the States and recently became interested in body literacy amongst this pandemic. With the forced shut down of social gatherings and activities; the increasing stress and fears working amongst COVID patients, I found myself turning inward and exploring my own personal health and well-being. I originally came across Maisie Hill’s, “There Will be Blood” Podcast that opened my eyes to the lack of knowledge and miss information “Bleeders” receive through formal education. I transitioned to her book “Period Power” and I’ve been talking cycles and periods with anyone who will listen ever since! Thank you so much for providing this content in a variety of media outlets! You’re reach is farther than you even know!
-
luckysbakesSo necessaryI loved the book and loving the podcast even more!! Maisie gives us women the information no one bothered to tell us as women. Empowering, imperative and thoughtful. I love this podcast!!
