I have been struggling as a single Mom raising my 2 teenagers. I was looking for guidance or information and came across this podcast. I am so thankful I found it because it has helped me not feel so alone! The guests and information I have found here have been so helpful and given me many good tips and resources to help me raise happy, healthy kids!

I am currently raising two tween daughters. This podcast has been such a breath of fresh air for me. My oldest daughter began going through very difficult friendship dynamics towards the end of fifth grade and I felt so lost and so extremely sad to see her pain. I started listening to this show and have learned so so much! She is about to finish 6th grade now, and even though middle school is tough sometimes with social dynamics, I am able to stay a loving and present parent because of all the tools I have learned listening to the different episodes on the show. It was SO relieving to realize that a lot of what my daughter is going through is normal and that I’m not alone in the world as a mom trying to navigate this amazing time of human development that my daughters are currently living. Thank you for such an incredible resource.

I’ve listened to one podcast so far, but it was wonderful! It’s so hard raising teens right now and the podcast about mean girls was great to listen to and understand what my daughter is going through at school right now. Hopefully there are more episodes relating to building friendships on here!

I have been a guest on many podcasts but my episode (#64) with Sheryl is particularly good and I feel really captures the essence of my philosophy and the importance (and joy!) of my work. I’m so grateful to Sheryl for her kindness but even more grateful to be a part of this important community as we all navigate the rocky waters of adolescence and the teen years together. Sheryl is an absolute gem and one who is very knowledgeable in raising teens and tweens and issues that come along with this phase. Loved discovering Sheryl’s show as there are so many do-over moments I wish I had as a mom during the tween and teen years. My fave episodes are her guests Amy Debrucque (may we all be fearless) and also the McLeods (my special needs momma heart needed this one). Give it a listen and share with your BFF moms!

I love Sheryl and the guests she has. It’s helped me so much to feel less alone and know I’m normal. I walk away from each episode with some nugget that I can use to help me and to better understand myself and my kids.

I was mind blown with the first few episodes, it hit everything I was going through with my daughter, and then….there was the Love Centered episode and I found myself wondering if I encountered a Christian podcast series. I am a Buddhist Jew and boy, that was a rough one to finish! I tried so hard to get the lessons out of what Crystal was stating, but man that was gospel more than anything. I really wish Ms. Gould would have prepped her speakers to be more inclusive, unless this is a Christian podcast???

This podcast has so many great topics they cover! So relatable for what moms of teens are experiencing and facing today. I love how real Sheryl is as the host and all her stories and tidbits of wisdom!

Thank you so much for creating this space. My oldest son is 10 but he’s already challenging me left and right. He’s a great child but it’s working my nerves. It’s nice to remember it’s a part of his journey and that I can continue setting boundaries and keeping the conversation open. My favorite podcast was the interview with Amber Hollingsworth. She and Sheryl were a great team.I found their advice extremely helpful. My favorite part was how to differentiate between helping your child and enabling your child. The best!
