A.ForeitGood but rushes to wrongfully convincedI like this podcast and think the hosts generally do good research, but often are eager to cling to any doubt (however implausible and certainly not reasonable) to either declare innocence or at least not worthy of conviction. In the more well-known, controversial cases, including one I don’t think they have officially covered, they are outright contemptuous of other view points. Still, it’s enjoyable, though I imagine more so if you already share their conclusions.

Megan Tomlinson attorneyMy favorite true crime podcasts hands downI had to update my review for Joyce McKinney — I was up miserable with the flu and listening to episode 2 and by the end was literally laughing out loud at the story and the way you told it. So good. Criminal defense attorney (15 years) and true crime enthusiast. I’m so glad I found this podcast — it’s my favorite. I love everything about it. They pick great cases and. Wide range, the amount of details paid to the cases is perfect, their banter is great and not too overdone — just enough, they are not biased for prosecution or defense, extremely entertaining all around. True crime perfection!

ELMSopLike a chat with your besties!I stumbled upon this pod a few months ago and have been binging ever since. Even if I know a case backwards and forwards I will still listen to their episode on it just to hear Mogab’s quips. They are so fun to listen to. Keep up the great work!

BeccaBowersMy favorite podcastI found True Crime Creepers as a bit of a podcast newbie when I was trying to find a new podcast after exhausting the first I’ve ever listened to, Tell No One. I was desperately looking for one with the same vibe, and boy did I find better. I love the dynamic and friendship between Kristen and Mogab, their chemistry is contagious. They are fun and entertaining and REAL. I’m listening back and currently in 2023 loving all of Mogab’s wedding talk. Mogab I hope everything is ok. We miss you and can’t wait for you to come back when you’re ready. Kristen, in the last episode you said someone told you to stop yelling at them in a review. Please never stop being the passionate, caring person you are. Pop off Queen. Love you both, next stop PATRON! 🖤

jsgreen1118Crime time fun!Kristin brings out great info from each case, and Mogab always brings the fun! These 2 banter back and forth and keep it interesting! Take a listen! You will learn something new!

Joyce McKinney episodeEducate yourselfNormally, I have never commented on a podcast, but this one really offended me. I get it whatever you’re gonna say things based on your opinion, but calling Joyce McKinney a predator because she dated somebody younger that was a legal age makes zero sense. Everyone has their personal opinion maybe saying something that extreme should be kept to yourself maybe say I would never date somebody five or six years younger than me. And then saying Mormons are into plastic surgery now oh Lord, I can’t wait for Mogab to get back

ELOELO@&&Like hanging with friendsTrue Crime Creepers is the perfect balance of respect for the stories being told, introspection, and goofy fun. Kristen and Mogab add to this by balancing each other with their different personalities, bringing a diversity of thoughts and reactions to the episodes. I also appreciate that there is a broad spectrum of stories told- including fraud, heists, and survival sorties. I’m a patron on patreon for a reason (bonus episodes, mini episodes, ad free). Five stars for sure.

C.F.W.Best True Crime Podcast!Kristin and Mogab have become my driving buddies. I listen on my commute and love this podcast! I really appreciate the way they tell people’s stories. They are sensitive to the victims and the loved ones who were affected. And I also appreciate how they don’t go into too many gory details. They give the necessary information without overly dramatizing the crimes. I’ve listened to all the back episodes and look forward to the new ones. Definitely worth subscribing!

MLE 25❤️Such a great show! It’s like having a conversation with two of my best friends. The cases are presented perfectly and the commentary helps balance it out. Love it!

Noelle BLove to listenSuch a great podcast! Love Kristin and Mogab and their presentation of the cases.

untitled 5AllI’m not a holy-than-though person, but it is so refreshing to not hear the F-word scattered through the podcast. These two actually make me laugh out loud. Plus I appreciate that the diversions into personal stories are short-lived but still entertaining. First time I’ve ever left a review for a podcast!
-
Elizabeth Fern🫶🏻Genuinely one of my favorite crime podcasts!! My best friend recommended y’all’s podcast in early 2024 and I’ve been an avid listener since then. I really appreciate how much time and care you put into researching the cases you talk about!! You guys remind me a lot of my best friend and I. And I love that so much haha. Also I LOVE that your cat is named after Mr. Darcy. Such a slay ❤️

Khristen PariGirls. You have moved my soul.I stumbled upon your podcast by accident, I was caught up on my other two favs. And, listen, there are some awful podcasts out there people! Good Lawrd! I listened to one of True Crime Creepers, and was hooked. I went back and started at the very beginning. So, for the last month y’all have been my new best friends. Today Kristin, you made me cry! At work! (Shhh, y’all are off limits at work, so don’t let anyone know you’re in my ear!) but Kristin! I can’t be bawlin’ at work! The West Memphis Three. You did an amazing job. You’re ending, with the hug between the guys. It was so moving. Definitely a 5 star episode. So, I’ll soon be caught up, so I had to jump on the Patreon so I can continue on, I don’t want to be left out on any fun! Thank you both for filling my days with laughter, enlightening cases and on occasion, tears. Keep up the great work! (Sorry Mogab, I know you threaten to quit, but it would never be the same without you!) much respect & love!

MysteryLoverCocoSeeing a patternListened to ten random episodes. So many cases you could cover. With a rainbow of victims and perpetrators. But there’s a sameness of color here, so to speak, isn’t there? You sorority girls from the south really need to get out in the world. It’s not so scary, but then again, if you’re born with hue privilege, it’s kinda fun to talk about scary stuff happening far, far below you . No hard feelings . You’re catering to your people. As for me, hard pass.

: BATMAN :Loyal fanI’ve tried a few true crime and supernatural shows and keep coming back to your show. I love the stories you select and how you tell those stories. 👍🏼
-
stacy372Great podcast!Found this and are now bingeing episodes! They do a deep dive into cases and do it with humor. Love the banter.
-
Lovey ElizabethInteresting and entertaining podI stumbled on this podcast because I was thinking about the old Todville house (I’m from Clear Lake) and Kristin and Mogab did a great job covering it. I’m binging back episodes now. They are entertaining and informative- great for my commute!
-
Kelly Kate MCopy CatsThey stole the music and format of Wife of Crime Podcast. I was a fan until I stumbled across the Wife of Crime Podcast and realized they copied the style and intro music down to the true crime newbie as Russ is. Pathetic.
-
ljstebosgrvaIntro is way too long, Mogab needs to chillI used to enjoy this pod cast, but the intro gets longer and longer every time. You have to fast forward 15 minutes to get to the actual story because they talk so much about themselves. Also, I wish Mogab would stop interrupting Kristin every 5 seconds, talking about herself constantly, it’s kind of annoying.
-
djcarolynThese twoAs a middle-aged mom from New England who was never in a sorority or has stepped foot in TX, I have little in common with them. And yet, I adore them both. Smart, witty, tons of chemistry and well-researched. So happy that I stumbled upon the show (and have become a patron). Rooting for Kristin and Mogab!
-
mandiekwalkerMy new favorite podcastDefinitely the best podcast I’ve listened to in a while! Just subscribed to the Patreon and so excited to have even more episodes to listen to!

kleptoBTrue Crime Gem!I’ve been listening to Kristin and Mogab since the beginning and they are truly the best. Their chemistry is perfect and makes for one of the most unique “murder podcasts” I have found. Kristin is the True Crime fanatic, who does the deep dive into each case and, each week, tells the whole story to Mogab, a True Crime Newbie who hasn’t heard any of them. Considering Mogab openly admits to having no interest in true crime prior to TCC, it is mind blowing how flawlessly she slips into the roles of both the audience AND co-host. Even if you enjoy true crime and have a decent understanding of investigative procedures, you’re still likely to learn something new nearly every week because Mogab asks questions you may have never considered and Kristin has the answers (or can usually find them)! Most importantly, for me, podcasts with one narrator or two true crime obsessed hosts can be heavy, grisly, and even a little elitist, assuming the listener is already in on the details of the case or is proficient in police procedure/laws. The formula for TCC- a fanatic & a newbie- works so well here because Kristin brilliantly unfolds each case like a mystery novel and we get to experience it right alongside Mogab, who is able to help keep the journey from getting too dark with her bright humor, optimism, and empathy. While she often jokes that she was dragged into this role as co-host kicking and screaming, it’s her novice status and quick wit that make her exactly the right person for this job! In summation, I really appreciate the fine balance of sensitivity to the victim and families with the delightful banter, insightful conversations, and blatantly hilarious honesty (Kristin WILL let you know if some of her sources are “40% accurate and Mogab WILL have the best takes). Give them a listen. Then go ahead and binge. Finally, hop on Patreon and enjoy SO much bonus content. xoxo, Crys B.

RareMiniatureRedundant MaterialI loved this podcast initially but I got tired immediately because Kristin keeps picking cases that have been done ad nauseam. It’s like she doesn’t know what to discuss and goes to other true crime podcasts and picks cases from there. She keeps doing cases Let’s Go To Court has done and doing deep dives on cases like West Memphis Three and Maura Murray that everyone has already discussed. Please stick with lesser known cases like Juliane Koepcke or Helen Hagnes Mintiks.

MKUltra678Breaks my heart to write this reviewBut I just can’t anymore. I love(d) the girls for a long time…until i finally went back and listened to the Scott Peterson schlock they tried to package and release. So many things Kristin left out of misreported. It was really angering and hard to listen to. It gives me a reason to reflect on some other interesting takes I’ve heard from the pod, and in this new light of questioning their info, I can’t say I’m as into their episodes anymore. Sad day for me as I absolutely loved this pod at first. :(
-
MatmmsYates episodeMy oldest son was 2. We were neighbors. They were one street up from us. Right by the church. I remember not being able to get in and out of the neighborhood for like a month.
-
MTB_EmLeeThe best! The best true crime podcast out there! I literally laugh out loud on every episode. They are the perfect pair and tell these stories with detail, but also the side comments are just too funny. Love it!
-
Chocolate43Obsessed with this showKristin and Mogab are the perfect balance of hilarious and educational. I love this podcast!!!
-
HTlAFLike hanging out with your two favorite friendsListening to this podcast is like hanging out with your two favorite, funniest friends. The rapport between the two is genuine and fun. The insights into their lives makes you feel a part of the friend group. The laughter?! The T-Swizzle fangirling?! The TRUE CRIME?! This podcast is perfect for people like me and Mogab (nosy with the lights on) because you get the facts of the crime, but the banter between the hosts allows you to sleep peacefully at night. LOVE YOU LADIES - YOURE THE BEST (Also, I listen in Spotify and patreon but i downloaded this app to leave a review for y’alls)
-
Stephaim65Terrific!True crime, tangents, and Taylor Swift, what more could you ask for?
-
brandletI really do want to love itKristin does great research and is a great story teller. I don’t mind the banter, but I get annoyed when Mogab plays the dumb, ditzy role. I don’t know if it’s an act or not, but sometimes it’s just too much.

SimkhaOne of My Favorites - Almost!I found this podcast at the begining of 2024 and was a bit hesitant at first. I generally do not enjoy banter, but somehow these two hosts have overcome my contempt of that - for the most part. The problem with banter is that you sometimes find out stuff about hosts that you really seem to like that makes them - less likeable. For example, it boggles my mind how many true crime podcasts I listen to where the hosts are, appropriately and obviously against murder but they can't stop talking about all the ways they exploit animals without being aware they're doing it. They have dogs or cats who they love, and they eat pigs, cows, chickens, and others. They go to rodeos, which are really horrifically barbaric activities. (Yes, I have been to some and gone backstage to document bull riding, and it was horrible. An injured calf with a broken leg wasn't even worth attention). So, the less I know about the hosts' personal lives, the better. I love the way Kristin narrates the episodes. I like her and Mogab's point of view about everything other than animals. I really wanted to give this podcast 5 stars but as I binged, aside from the issue with animals, I found that she covers a lot of the same crimes as other podcasts do. Please, I have listened to The Girl in the Blue Mustang from Dateline. I don't want a rehash, no matter how good you are (and you are good!). Please find some different things. Unfortunately, there are plenty to choose from. AND it would be nice to see a true crime podcast perhaps focus on hate crimes during pride month. Unfortunately these happen a lot. (I have a Greek one for you, Zak Kostopoulos). So there is a lot to love about this - I mean, Kristin does a fantastic job of presenting the cases. The banter is actually fun (waffle house? If you're not talking about eggs and sausages, I'm here for it!) aside from the animal cruelty stuff. But covering crimes that have recently been covered by other venues doesn't seem the best move to me, and I have started skipping some, which disappoints me. But they're overdone. How many times can you listen to something about Jodi Arias? Uh, for me none. (I get it, everyone has different preferences and so on. I will listen to everything I can find about Lindsay Buziak and Lisa Young because those are so creepy! And that guy, Brandon Something? who disappeared from his truck on a Texas highway). So not every kind of case is for everyone. But if another podcast has done it and done it well, perhaps find another case. Sadly, there are plenty to go around.

Kiki G88So goodMy favorite podcast! Thanks for making it guys!
-
JSchoolcraftLove It!I recently discovered this podcast while looking for podcast on a certain topic. After listening to that episode I went back to the beginning and started from episode one, I’m on 30 something now. You girls are so relatable and this has quickly became one of my favorites.
-
tessa doszakVery entertaining!I love listening to podcasts while I clean, drive, or get ready. I found the girls about two weeks ago and I have NON-STOP binged! Mogab is so funny and her one liners are well placed. Kristin researches so well and you can tell she really cares about and puts so much time into her work. I love these two and it has been so fun to learn their personalities and hear about things going on in their lives. I also really appreciate how they treat victims with respect and are very conscious of writing the narrative the right way. Awesome job, girls!

DLS55555Love this podcast!I love listening to both of you! One of my favorite podcasts!

αвαвуThere’s no one betterI just love this podcast! It’s so hard to find a podcast that doesn’t make you sleepy during long drives, but this is the one! There’s more than just crimes, there’s also very funny banter and commentary to the crimes. I make everyone listen to this podcast and have gotten so many people hooked as well. This is why Thursday is my favorite day of the week.
