I listen to this show on another podcast player but I had to come here to leave a review. I love Severin Films. This podcast is a big reason for that. I am someone that longs to discover new(to me) films but with the amount of labels releasing great stuff every month, it’s hard to justify the blind buy at times. That’s where this show has come in for me. Hearing the passion and joy from the Severin team about what went into putting out these releases is the best marketing tool you could ask for. Many of my favorite movies and filmmakers have made it into my life thanks to this podcast. There are too many to even list at this point but through this podcast, there has been a level of trust and understanding built between myself as the consumer and the company. Unfortunately, I still cannot always afford everything that I may want but with what I can get, Severin is the first stop. Thank you for the show, and thank you for the films. At the risk of sounding a bit overdramatic, in many ways Severin Films has altered the path of my life. Film is important and it must be preserved.

It’s always nice to find a podcast that reflects my niche cinematic sensibilities, and here we ARE. I ran into Severin after my brother introduced me to the joys of Night Killer! After viewing the film I instantly had to own it, and ran into the Severin Films Shop where I discovered their treasure trove of remastered titles. I downloaded the podcast shortly their after, and the mix of behind the scenes knowledge and camaraderie within the culture, topped off with the sweet DJ sounds from the films both sleazy and divine make this podcast one not to miss!

A group of co-worker/friends have a good time talking about their latest releaseas. One of the most consistently funny and entertaining podcasts I listen to. I would love to hear some episodes that talk about the behind the scenes and technical efforts that go into some of these releases. Keep it up!

Love the peek behind one of the great boutique labels. Always enjoy the extra info and dang it if you don’t usually sell me on something I was iffy on. Would love the bonus episodes mentioned and will come out as a mst3k fan I agree it introduced a lot of things I wouldn’t know about and likely broadened my pallet so now I am here…

The Severin Podcast is always a great listen, particularly as a look into the inner workings of a “boutique” physical media label. It’s always awesome to hear about what goes into these fantastic releases. The film discussions are great as well, and they’ve certainly sold me on a few discs I never would have purchased otherwise. Andrew is an amazing host, and I’d absolutely love to hear him take a deep dive into the granular details regarding 2K vs 4K scanning and any other technical aspects of the restoration/release process.

They should get someone who likes Jess Franco films to co-host

Fans of the label would be missing out if they are not listening to these podcasts prior to viewing the releases. The hosts have great chemistry with each other and do an excellent job of talking through the wild releases from Severin. It’s honestly a blast!

Great podcast with some funny and entertaining dudes who talk about cult films that they release under Severin films. Only problem is that it makes me want to buy all their releases!!

Some great deep dives here on obscure (and some not so obscure) films Severin is releasing—including details snort the restoration process.

Can sometimes be a bit much with the geekdom, but I love hearing David Gregory speak about his passion for films. I have been buying discs that David has worked on or released for what feels like decades now & I’m am immersed in the cult of severin full tilt, wish this was weekly!

What a cool group and podcast! You learn about film restoration and cult collections you never knew existed. Fascinating, charming hosts and a really unique perspective! Love it!

This just hits the spot. I wish it was more than once a month, but it’s probably best that it’s not because it compels me to buy more titles from them every time.

I really enjoy the format of the show, talking movies and blu rays and upcoming releases from Severin. To also have a second half which plays awesome and obscure horror tracks picked with care really sets it apart and makes it a must listen podcast.

Very interesting look into one of my favorite Blu-Ray distributors and the guys are very funny as well.

If you love buying movies from these guys, this is the podcast for you. I could hear these guys talk for hours on their catalog. The music at the end if each podcast is like having two shows in one! Must subscribe today!

This podcast was fun to listen to and I hope they keep it up. Just listening to them talk about these movies makes me want to buy them all.

Right out of the gate, Severin produces an endearing, honest, and succinct podcast to make you feel part of the tribe. It’s an easy listen, and the perfect accompaniment to monthly announcements. Keep going guys.

A good podcast makes you feel like you’re having a great conversation with friends and this Severin podcast is exactly that. It was very fun and enjoyable

Listening to these guys discuss their various new releases is absolutely insightful... and the worst thing to happen to me... I blame this episode for the recent hundred bucks dropped, which is of course on top of the fortune spent at their half year sale. I’m hesitant to say that I can’t wait for the next episode.

The guys from horror label Severin discuss the titles on sale for the month. What could be a dry look at the titles turns out to be quite entertaining, with looks behind the scenes and some fun stories. As a bonus, there’s a section at the end that plays groovy music from past and current titles.
