Be honest about topics or don’t cover them

Don’t need a podcast trying to tell kids higher prices and sparking global retaliatory tariffs may be ok because we don’t need to buy stuff. What a small world view. The reality is the people who can least afford it will suffer the most. Stop buying groceries isn’t an acceptable conclusion. Be honest or don’t cover topics like this.

The Water’s Fine!

Solomon (son, age 8) and Paul (dad, age middle) adore diving into the news pool while driving around our little island in the Puget Sound. Solly's favorite segment is Around The World In 80 Seconds - he loves hearing what’s happening outside the United States. Paul loves the oddball (no doubt) stories from the Lucky Dip Machine and holds a special place for the worst (BEST!) puns and word plays. Keep up the great work, team!!

Fun for Both of Us

My 3rd grader loves the fun presentation of world news, and learning about more countries than she ever knew existed. I’ve found that I’m using the information myself in conversations with adults. We both love the animal news segments, but especially when dinosaurs are in them! Thanks so much for our new weekly tradition.

Such a great news podcast, we look forward to it every week! Though it is intended for a young audience (and does a great job of explaining sticky topics to them), the adults in my family love it too. My favorite part is hearing the voices of kid correspondents from around the world!
