I see some reviews point out the mispronunciations of French, “cootie air” is my new favorite phrase, but the English is not done well either. I’m having a hard time listening. I hope it gets better as the episodes go on. I heard “‘em” instead of “them” and several other English and French words not said correctly. I have a rule, I give three full episodes before I say no to something. I’d love to enjoy this but I just can’t.

It’s hard to stay immersed in this podcast. The subject matter is interesting and the script is written so that one could possibly be transported into M. Dior’s beautiful world. However, the narrator‘s (mis)pronunciation of French words is terribly distracting. Did the producers really not notice this? Ugh - every time she says “cootie air” or “may ssan” I cringe and the spell is broken. This podcast had so much potential but comes up a bit short.

The content is great - really interesting story of Dior's youth. But the reader cannot properly pronounce French. It's very distracting.

I really enjoyed this Dior podcast it included a lot of the inspiration Dior captured from his childhood. Explaining the beauty of contrasting emotions in Christian Dior’s early life and left the listener feeling refreshed and more inspired by the beauty of nature.

What a magical podcast!!!! I truly felt transported into another time!!! It feels more like a gorgeous audiobook than a podcast! I’m so excited to hear more!!! Thank you, Dior!!!!
