I find this podcast very affirming in living a quiet life. Spending time in the company of fiber animals in a farm setting is meditative, relaxing and healing.

    Courage & Transformation
Fiber enthusiasts will love this podcast, but, so will anyone who’s ever dreamed about changing their life. I laughed and cried and gasped at the challenges and small discoveries that Lisa and Greg made as they left careers and city behind for a farm on an island. Their mission to raise wild camelids for their preciously soft fiber and conservation of the breed is admirable, but also leads to many, many stories-that you will want to hear on this podcast.

Soft and warm, with a point
I remember when Lisa Mitchell told me in 2019 she could not attend our next writing retreat because she was going to raise guanacos. I was puzzled and intrigued. Why? What’s a guanaco? Then all became revealed through this podcast, and so much more. I understand how she and Greg followed their “yes!” How inspiring! I understood how they kept on learning more about their skiddish and soft animals. And how Lisa learned to spin! Who takes on big challenges these days when they don’t have to? Brave, fun, caring, interesting people like Lisa and Greg. This expertly produced podcast is a delight to listen to, especially when you are a city slicker like me. Be inspired!
