For a podcast solely dedicated to breaking down Taylor Swift’s music, I feel like the concepts, metaphors, and themes contained in her albums (ESPECIALLY the last two - Folklore & Evermore) aren’t being fully appreciated. These hosts feel more like casual Taylor Swift fans; Which is fine, but Taylor’s music really rewards dedicated fans that are interested in deciphering each and every lyric and hidden “easter egg” as she likes to call them. There are so many hidden references to some significant events, including the BMR fiasco, that are either glossed over or not acknowledged at all. I just feel like everything being discussed here is relatively surface level and wish they would go deeper.
