    One of my favorites
There are only a couple podcasts that I eagerly await each week - this is one of them. I binged on all the old episodes I had missed way too quickly and now I’m stuck waiting 😂 Love you guys!!

    Pretty good.
Pretty good. A little more circumcision talk than I was expecting but still a really professional and informative podcast
  • faye333!
    too biased
You side with the prosecution too much even when they have the facts wrong.

    It's All About Chemistry
I came to this podcast late, which is good because it gives me plenty of episodes to binge. I was immediately captivated by the unadulterated respect and strong friendship Alice and Brett share for each other. Their obvious affection and shared enjoyment of discussing cases is contagious, and, also unusual, especially in podcasts hosted by a man/woman team. They are perfectly matched both in their legal acumen as in their high energy, which, as a New Yorker, is in perfect sync with my own. I feel like I'm in a room with friends, interjecting and adding comments as the case unfolds. This doesn't just make listening more interesting, it adds to the vitality and the in the moment recounting. Nothing comes across as being read, having been rehearsed or overly planned out - because it isn't. Everything presented is refreshingly off the cuff, and it's the comfort level Alice and Brett share that makes this work so well. Additionally, toss in just enough personal anecdotes for the listener to feel as comfortable with Brett and Alice as they feel with each other. Personally, I love the deep dives, especially the current examination of the Memphis Three. I didn't expect to find it so fascinating, but I now realize that's because I'd heard more about the case than I knew about it. I'm finding The Prosecutors extensive research and clear reexamination of this case to be so compelling, that I'm kind of wishing it was the Memphis Five or Six, just so it could go on even longer than it will. They've laid the case out so clearly and discussed the case so thoroughly from so many angles, that I went from an opinion (admittedly not a strong opinion and one based solely on assumptions) to rethinking the whole case, and, with each episode I continue to question what happened. This what a great podcast can do - present the facts, ask the questions, raise the controversies, make you think and then rethink. Without your knowing where they stand. I do have a question, and I can hardly be the first to ask, but... you two have so much in common vis a vis your careers, large families, enthusiasm, energy levels, etc. yet you must also have as many differences, the obvious being your sex, cultural and geographic backgrounds. I'm curious to know where and how you met, and if you clicked immediately or if the friendship took awhile to become close. For the record, my money is on an immediate click and friendship at first sight. Am I right?

    So much detail!!
The hosts are so stinking smart and go into so much detail. Even when I think I know everything about a case, Brett and Alice cover it and blow my mind!!! I wish I could pick your brains about a lot of things but… I have one question I would love to have y’all answer. Can you explain how judges decide if they will let a defendant bring in a “the other dude did it” defense? I am always confused as to why they can bring that to trial sometimes but not every time. Thanks for all you do!!!

    Thought provoking and well-covered cases
I love hearing Brett and Alice cover these cases with a prosecutor’s experience. They bring up great points based on evidence, not conspiracies. So many times they bring up something that seems important only to explain why, based on their experience, it’s not so meaningful in the case. They discussed memory at length in the Syed case, I believe, and what sunset means to witness testimony. Fascinating. I don’t mind that they laugh during the show. Their jobs involve the worst of humanity. My guess that anyone in related fields try to find lightness. They also have such great chemistry. Love the show!!

    Brilliant job on Macdonald episodes!
I’ve followed this tragic story for years, and have always felt something was missing. But when you described the ice pick stabs thru Jeff’s pajama top matching the wounds in Collette’s chest, I got it. I know I’d heard it before, but something about the details you shared just clicked for me. Prayers for Collette, Kris and Kim.

    Love the show.
It's important to approach negative comments with a mindset of understanding, as they often stem from misunderstandings or personal frustrations. It seems that some individuals may not fully recognize the impact of their words and how they contribute to division in our conversations, particularly with the ongoing Democrat versus Republican debates. I truly appreciate the work you both do in clarifying the legal aspects of these discussions. Your insights are incredibly valuable, and I always enjoy learning more about the law through your explanations. Keep up the fantastic work!

Love the show. Follow for their take on all current popular cases and more.
I started listening a long time ago and became a consistent fan during the Delphi trial. I appreciate that they offer a professional and accurate perspective on what happens in the courtroom. For people who aren’t familiar with legal proceedings, it’s easy to misinterpret things as biased or rigged, when in reality, that’s just how the system works. Question- How do lawyers decide whom to select for a jury? What are you looking for as a prosecutor versus defense. Do both the defense and prosecution get to see your juror questionnaire? Can the defense—and their client—see personal details like your name, profession, and employer? I hope that information isn’t fully visible to them, for obvious reasons. I was recently selected for jury duty as an alternate—the last one picked out of an entire group of 14, which was frustrating. I was also surprised to be picked at all, considering my background. I’m an accountant and a volunteer child advocate—roles that suggest I’m a rule follower, which I would assume aligns more with what the prosecution would prefer, not a defense attorney in a domestic violence case.

    Lost their marbles
Though I haven’t always agreed I’ve always enjoyed and respected their coverage until Karen read. I thought she was guilty too until I looked a little deeper. They are too biased to understand corrupt prosecutors do exist. It’s so obvious in this case.
  • ritamaeart
    Satanic panic
Richard Ramirez and the coverage of his crimes certainly could make people a believer in Satan. It helped feed into how things blew up

    Good podcast but needs work
I like this podcast, but sometimes it does seem like you have an agenda and you cover cases that you think the public got wrong. I wish they would be more transparent about their very obvious bias towards prosecutors and that side of the law. Also, Alice rambles for wayyyyy too long that it's hard to stay engaged.

    How is this THIS BAD?
We’re living in an age of true crime analysis. Generally, if a podcast is hosted by two prosecutors, we can be assured this is going to be far more credible and trustworthy than some TikToker with a shocked expression and some half-read Reddit speculation, right? Oh, were it only the case! One host literally says “Baltimore is the most corrupt city, just look at The Wire!” You know, The Wire, an excellent but fictional show? Why use fiction when you can use facts, especially when real life people’s lives are on the line? (BTW, if you think Baltimore is corrupt, you might want to be sitting down for what I’m going to tell you about DC.) But that kind of confident ignorance characterizes the pod and reminds you you really can’t tell a book by its cover or a podcast by its promise. Skip this trash.

    LOVE
As a lifelong true crime consumer I absolutely love this podcast. Alice and Brett are so thorough and offer SO much insight your average civilian does not have. I truly can’t imagine how anyone would not like this podcast. I also really appreciate that thet share their theories. Thank you Alice and Brett!!

Do Alice and Brett actually read these???
I love love love you guys:)! Could you take your weekly cover art and create T-shirts we all could buy! I love the cover art for each show and wondered if y'all ever considered turning it into T-shirts!?!?!?! Please consider this ok ok:) :) ❤️❤️

One of the best true crime pods
Brett and Alice are great to listen to and bring wise perspectives to the cases they cover. For the most part, they do it best compared to the rest. I will say, it is a bummer when they go into a case you are either not interested in or don’t care to listen to because they can go on for weeks. I can’t do cases that involve children, and they’ve been on the West Memphis 3 for over 2 months with no end in site, so that takes this podcast out of my lineup for a long time. Otherwise it’s a gem!

    Parenting and friends
Thinking of Adnan and the West Memphis 3, can you give some parenting advice? What would you do as Jennifer’s mom? As the parent of a kid who is friends with Damian?

    Good but not always accurate
I like this show, but not everything they were saying is accurate. They should verify before posting publicly

An incredibly insightful discussion by two engaging professionals who share the real way our legal system works, using the cases we have all heard of as the backdrop. If you get tired of the sensationalism of cases on either side, here is the level-headed best in the true crime genre. My question to Brett and Alice: Is there a teacher in your past who had a major impact on your life and purpose? Can you share the details of that experience?

Who told you this was a good idea?
Will change to a 5 star if hosts prove they can walk & chew gum at the same time. Currently not convinced.

    Great podcast
This is one of my favorites. The hosts present cases in an unbiased and factual manner. Then they give their theories, which are evidence-based and realistic. I find this podcast to be very informative and I have learned quite a bit from it. The hosts have great chemistry and have a great sense of humor. They make each other laugh, which I really enjoy. And while I don’t align with the hosts politically, I actually don’t find that their personal political views affect the podcast or any of the cases they present, despite some other reviews to the contrary. So I am still giving 5 stars. I also really appreciate that Brett loves Boston, since that’s where I’m from 👍🏼 So extra points for his love of the city!

    My FAVORITE Podcast
Brett and Alice present the facts and explain the evidence in a way that is understandable to listeners who have not gone to law school. I love their banter and friendship. As a true crime listener, I have learned so much from The Prosecutors!

    Sayed Episodes
I went into this podcast hoping for a fresh perspective and thorough investigation, but unfortunately, disappointed. I struggled to make it through even a few episodes due to the lack of depth and clarity in the content. The most frustrating aspects was the absence of cited sources. The hosts frequently presented opinions as though they were established facts, without offering any evidence or explanation. For instance, they claimed that “Adnan called Patrick to see why Jay got arrested” — but was this verified, or merely speculation? Rather than diving deeper or offering new insights, the show often rehashed information we've already heard, without adding meaningful context or independent research. It left me questioning the credibility and purpose of the podcast as a whole.

    And we are The Prosecutors
I’m a prosecutee! I love Brett and Alice. The discussion, the humor, the research, and the friendship. It’s all so good. I appreciate that they lay out all the evidence. It isn’t just assumed someone is guilty. They talk through it to see what can be proven.

TY for the April 1st Episode
I’ve been listening to you all for a couple years now- love the show and love the side bar commentary. I am a first time mom to a 5 week old little boy, and am currently in the thick of the ‘newborn trenches.’ The past few weeks I’ve been so overwhelmed, sleep deprived and if I’m being completely honest, mourning my former life of independence. While also having my heart nearly explode from all the love I have for this precious boy. All that being said your April 1st ‘a little less conversation’ was EXACTLY what I needed to hear yesterday- hearing how special parenthood is to you both had me tearing up (that and Brett talking about the Bluey episode!) My question is, what are your ‘must-have’ products or routines for surviving baby’s first year? -Lauren

    Really biased & uneducated
I was wondering why these lawyer’s takes seemed so wild until I did some research on the hosts and found out they can hardly be classified as “prosecutors”. Really bummed at the fake qualifications here

  • Johnny J. Rambo
Biased, dishonest, crude, pompous and not credible
The way these two “lawyers” explained the MA v K Read trial was so twisted and insulting. When they later plead for grace and stopped covering the trial… I find this unforgivable. I would never recommend this show. The Prosecutors deserve the punishment they’d like to impose on the presumed innocent.
  • Tnordy
The best true crime podcast, period.
I’ve listened to The Prosectors from day 1 and absolutely love this podcast. Their coverage of cases is thorough and educational. I come away from each episode gaining some sort of knowledge about the law and I just love that. Plus, Brett and Alice are good humans and the world needs a lot more of that. Please, please don’t quit after WM3!!!

    Best True Crime Podcast
The Prosecutors are my hands down go to true crime podcast. Brett and Alice provide fact driven, intelligent and insightful analysis of even the most controversial cases. They really earned my utmost respect with their coverage of the Adnan Syed case and their skepticism and outrage over the way the State handled the overturning of his conviction, and all the legal wrangling that followed. They go beyond the headlines and do not care about taking the popular position. QUESTION: How has the common law developed differently because only defendants can appeal criminal convictions, while the prosecution cannot appeal not guilty verdicts?

    Favorite podcast of all-time
Brett and Alice are the absolute BEST in true crime. I’ve learned so much from them. I’ve even gone back and re-listened to many of the episodes for a second time because they are so entertaining and enjoyable. Their personalities make me smile every time I listen. As soon as you start listening to The Prosecutors, you will understand why there are so many of us dedicated fans who adore Brett and Alice. Thank you Brett and Alice for all of the amazing work you put into all of your content for your listeners. You are truly the greatest around! My question: What is your all-time favorite episode artwork that Hannah Hill has done?

    Great Pod
As I make my through podcast, found yours. Really love the show! I always enjoy when casters take more than one episode to go through a case. Would love to hear you two do a few episodes on theLauren Agee case. That girl did not die accidentally! Would love to hear your takes on the depositions of the lead investigator and Sheriff, as the investigation in her death was pure incompetence!

    Boring

    Love love love!
I’m a fan of true crime podcasts, but I really appreciate the unbiased and thorough way you guys present! I love the linear, no nonsense approach and how actually being in the legal system add so much to the story and perspective and how things play out like in the OJ case and Adnan Syed!
  • Tdsunshine
    Waste of my time.
Ugh the man is insufferable. Couldn’t be bothered to learn his name. Talking highly of the detectives that grossly manipulated the West Memphis three boys into false confessions is just disgusting. Seems like a very MAGA podcast as well as overly opinionated.

    Love this show
I started listening to podcast for the first time and was striking out. I started listening to this one and I feel in love with both of you! It just seems like I’m listening to friends talk!
